About: I've grown up around animals and have always loved being around them. While I don’t have a pet of my own right now—mainly due to living in a flat and a busy schedule—I still jump at any chance to spend time with them. I used to dog sit regularly for a lovely pup until he (and his family) moved out of the area, and I’ve missed it ever since. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to spend the whole day with your dog, giving them company, cuddles, and care while I work—just as long as there’s reliable Wi-Fi! Whether you need someone to walk your dog, keep your dog/ cat company during the day, or just drop in for feeds, I’d be happy to help. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a remote worker. I can either work from your home to keep your dog company throughout the day or pop in for walks and feeds—depending on how much time and attention they need. My weekdays are generally flexible, making it easy for me to build in regular visits or full-day stays. Weekends tend to be a bit busier, but if you give me as much notice as possible, I’ll always do my best to adjust my plans and be there for your pet when you need me. Let me know what their routine is and I'll stick to it as closely as possible to provide them as much comfort as possible. I'll treat your home with respect and safety of your pet and your home is of upmost importance to me. Please let me know if there are any behavioural issues, health needs and emergency contacts so that I'm prepared for all eventualities. I pride myself on being a calm and trustworthy person.

About: I have been caring for pets personally and professionally for over 14 years. I have worked as a cat sitter, caring for cats in their own homes when their families are away, and have been fully trained as a dog walker. I am confident working with dogs of all shapes and sizes and am familiar with young, training puppies, as well as senior pets who require special medications, feeding schedules, or mobility issues. In addition to my professional experience caring for pets, I got my very own first cat, Simon, at the young age of 7. Since then, I have been 'mummy' to 2 other cats and one lovely dog, in addition to being the legal guardian of several furry nieces and nephews whom I've cared for on countless occasions. Pets give me a genuine joy unlike anything else in this world and I love spending and sharing my days with them. I am currently working on a freelance basis, which opens me up wonderfully to the world of dog walking and cat sitting. Typically, I am available anytime between the hours of 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. I believe in keeping a pet in their familiar surroundings whenever possible. Home is the most comfortable place for all of us and when families are away, the consistency of staying at home is important for a pet. I like to be a guest in the pets home, letting the cats take control on social time, and being quick and discreet when picking up a dog for a walk and bringing them home again.

About: I have always had pets as a child and now as an adult! Animals bring so much joy to life and I love my furry friends. Our beloved Labrador passed recently and we miss having a dog in the house, but aren't ready to replace yet, so cant wait to enjoy caring for other dogs whilst their owners are away! I live moments from the river wey so your furry friend can expect a lovely walk along the river to stoke lock through to Guildford nature reserve. I work flexible hours from my office at home, which means I have plenty of time to care for your pet and make sure they get the attention they need - plenty of play, walks and food! I have a fenced garden where there is space for your dog to be outside. Whilst I am working your dog will sit with me in my home office and provide welcome distraction from my IT role! I will walk dogs in the morning, lunchtime and evening as needed to suit your pet.

“Alexandra is simply brilliant. I've always been nervous about leaving my two kitties, but Alexandra put my mind to rest immediately. She sent daily updates, with loads of photos, including videos. She spent so much time playing with them. She also hoovered, (one of my cats is molting), which wasn't a request, but what a lovely surprise. To top it off, she asked if she could leave a gift for Baxter, who ADORES playing with shoes laces and string, what a lovely thing to do. She clearly loves cats and was mindful and attentive to their needs. One of my cats is a little nervous and gets stressed easily, but both kitties were happy and relaxed on my return. I’ve raised both cats and dogs since childhood, and for the past 18 months, my wife and I have been raising our chocolate Labrador, Bella. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog as if they were their own. Your dog’s safety, wellbeing and happiness are my top priorities. I’m calm, patient and empathetic with all animals, and I understand how to adapt to their moods, needs and energy levels. Whether your dog is excitable, anxious or in training, I’ll tailor my approach to suit them. I’m also happy to continue any training routines you have in place. I pay attention to the small but important things like the weather, how much rest your dog has had, and whether they’re feeling bored, energetic or unsure. I adjust how I interact with them to make sure they feel safe and supported. If any issues arise, I stay calm and make sensible decisions with your dog’s best interests at heart. Whether you’re at work or out enjoying your day, you can relax knowing your dog is in safe, caring and capable hands. I’ve recently been impacted by redundancy, so am reasonably flexible as to when I can be booked. If I’m sitting for or visiting your dog, they will have my full focus, I won’t be working or leaving them unattended. I’m not looking to do this to make money, but to keep myself and my brain active and spend as much time as possible with the best creatures on earth. If visiting in your home, I would treat it with the utmost respect. Fully able to play with your dog in the garden if you have one and if not, happy to take them on a long or short walk as needed. If I’m feeding a dog I will make sure they have had the right break before and after exercise to lower the risk of bloat. They’ll always have fresh water topped up and will be in the right temperature to be safe and comfortable.

About: I love animals as I have looked after them my whole life as I grew up in a farm! I currently have 2 dogs at my family home that I have looked after and walked for many years. I miss them while I am at university in Edinburgh and would love to spread my love to others dogs or cats As i am at University i have quite a lot of free time some of that I fill with sport but I have lots of time left for a furry friend. Have a spacious cottage which includes a private garden! I have 2 friends who also live with me and are very keen to help out and give some love. I love photographing dogs so would be able to give you lots of photo updates throughout the walk/day.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats most my life and my family just loves having pets around. It will be myself taking care of your pet and I can’t wait to meet them :) I work from home and so am home all day and would usually go for the walks in the morning and sometimes the afternoon too, if your pet requires 2 walks, please let me know, I have a fenced off back yard and a lot of space in the house. I can crate your dog if needed (please provide the crate), or he/she can have full roam of the house. My dog gets on very well with other dogs, he is a neutered golden retriever.
