“I was a little bit nervous about leaving my boy for the first time, but Lauren put my mind at ease straight away and made sure she knew all about Bugsy and his care! He settled in immediately, was snuggled and cared for like he was her own and I got plenty of updates. He came home a very happy little boy, and I’m sure he can’t wait to spend a night at Lauren’s again.”

About: 🐕 I’ve been caring for pets since a young age, regularly helping friends and family with dog walking, basic training, bathing, and both day and overnight stays. Dogs have always been a part of my life, and I truly believe a home isn’t complete without one. Over the years, I’ve mostly cared for and owned bully breeds, so I’m very comfortable with medium to large dogs. I’ve also looked after smaller breeds like Jack Russells and regularly help friends with their small dogs. I have several years of experience with dog training, all self-taught through research and hands-on work with my own dogs. As a result, I’ve raised several well-behaved, well-trained companions and genuinely enjoy the process of helping dogs learn and thrive 🐕 🐈⬛️ My very first pet was a fluffy white cat named Snowbell (yes, just like in Stuart Little)—and I absolutely adored him! 🐾 Since then, I’ve cared for many of my friends’ cats while they were away, making sure they felt loved and comfortable. One of my very first jobs was working at a cattery, where I learned how to look after cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. I work full-time, but typically arrive home by 5:00 PM when I’m in the office. I also work from home three days a week, so I’m able to offer daytime care for your pet or dog walking on those days. I’m also available on weekends for pet care, walks, and/or overnight stays. At home, I live with my 7-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is crate trained, neutered, and very well behaved (though he does like to act like the man of the house 😄). For any in-home services—such as day or overnight stays—I do require a meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure our pets get along. For walking or care in your home, this won’t be necessary. 🏡 Your Dog’s Stay 🐕 Your dog will have plenty of space to relax throughout the house, as well as access to a fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time. I also live just a short walk from a large field, perfect for burning off energy and getting in those zoomies. 🏡 Your cats stay 🐈⬛️ Your cat will have plenty of space to sprawl out and pur the day away. I care for cats by keeping their routine consistent—fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime or cuddles (whichever they prefer!). I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: I love dogs and how clever they are, I can't have dogs of my own but would love to look after some, so my kids can have that influence in their lives. I work part time, I could look after pets after 3.30 pm and weekends. Overnight stays are also considered. We can discussion any needs as required. I have a garden and a big lounge space, I would take dogs for walks too. I have 3 kids, they love animals so any pet would be very spoiled

“Angus was the first sitter we have used through the Rover service. We could not be happier with the way he cared for Della, our 12 yr old Patterdale Terrier. We received regular updates throughout the duration of her stay and she received such loving care.”

About: Experience with a Variety of Animals: I have experience caring for dogs like Springer Spaniels, guinea pigs, and outdoor rabbits. This diverse experience means I am adaptable and capable of meeting the unique needs of different pets. Love for Animals: My genuine love for animals is a significant advantage. I approach pet sitting with enthusiasm, ensuring that your pets receive not only the essential care but also the affection and attention they deserve. No Allergies: As I have no allergies to pets, you can trust that I will be consistently available and capable of providing care without any health limitations. Puppy Training: If needed, I can assist with basic puppy training. This includes housebreaking, obedience training, and socialization. I understand the importance of positive reinforcement and patience in training. Senior Care: I can adapt to the needs of senior pets, including providing medication, gentle exercise, and extra attention to ensure their comfort and well-being. Responsible and Reliable: As a responsible and reliable pet sitter, you can count on me to follow your instructions meticulously, maintain a consistent schedule, and communicate promptly with you regarding any concerns or updates during your absence. Safety First: I prioritise the safety of your pets. I'm aware of potential hazards and will take measures to keep your pets secure and comfortable at all times. Cleanliness and Hygiene: I understand the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for your pets, including regularly cleaning cages, feeding areas, and any other necessary spaces. Customised Care: Every pet is unique, and I will tailor my care to the specific needs and preferences of your pets. Whether it's dietary restrictions, exercise requirements, or favorite toys, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and happy in your absence. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine due to my flexible schedule and genuine love for animals. Here's how it aligns with my routine: Flexibility: Working from home and having a flexible schedule means that I can easily accommodate the needs of your pets throughout the day. I can provide attention, playtime, and bathroom breaks as often as required. Regular Exercise: I enjoy walking and understand the importance of regular exercise for dogs, so taking your pets out for walks is a natural and enjoyable part of my routine. I can take them for walks 3-4 times a day to ensure they get the exercise they need and the opportunity to explore and play. Playtime and Cuddles: I value the emotional well-being of pets and recognize the importance of playtime and cuddles. Whether it's a game of fetch, a snuggle on the couch, or interactive play with toys, I'll make sure your pets receive plenty of attention and affection. Special Treats: I understand that each pet is unique, and I'm more than happy to accommodate any special dietary needs or treat preferences. Treating your pets with their favorite snacks or rewards is a joyful part of my pet care routine. Monitoring and Care: Throughout the day, I'll monitor your pets for any signs of discomfort or illness. If your pets require any special care, such as administering medications or adhering to a specific feeding schedule, I'll ensure it's integrated seamlessly into my routine. Communication: I believe in maintaining open and transparent communication with pet owners. I can provide regular updates and photos of your pets so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Cleaning and Maintenance: I'll also include regular cleaning and maintenance tasks in my routine, such as cleaning litter boxes, changing bedding, and ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for your pets. In summary, pet care is not just a task for me; it's a passion and a joyful part of my daily life. My flexible schedule, love for animals, and commitment to their well-being allow me to integrate pet care seamlessly into my routine, ensuring that your pets receive the attention, exercise, and love they need to thrive while you're away. Certainly, how I care for pets can vary depending on whether I'm providing pet care in my own home or in a pet owner's home. Here's how I typically approach both scenarios: Caring for Pets in My Home (Pet Sitting at My Place): Safe and Comfortable Environment: In my home, I ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your pets. If you have a large fenced backyard, it's an ideal space for dogs to play and explore. I'll make sure any potential hazards are minimized. Regular Exercise: With access to a fenced garden and nearby walks, I'll ensure your pets get plenty of exercise. Daily walks in the area and playtime in the garden can keep them active and happy. Feeding and Medication: I'll follow your feeding schedule and dietary instructions diligently. If your pets require medication, I'll administer it as needed and ensure they get the proper dosage. Play and Social Interaction: I love spending quality time with pets, so I'll engage in play, cuddles, and interaction. If your pets enjoy the company of other animals, I can introduce them to my own pets if it's safe and approved by you. Cleanliness: I'll maintain a clean environment for your pets, including regular cleaning of food and water bowls, litter boxes (if applicable), and bedding. Communication: Throughout the stay, I'll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you know how your pets are doing and can have peace of mind. Caring for Pets in the Pet Owner's Home (House Sitting): Maintaining Routine: I understand the importance of consistency for pets, so I'll stick to their established routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding times, walks, playtime, and any other specific habits they have. Home Security: In addition to caring for your pets, I'll also take care of your home. I can bring in the mail, water plants, and ensure the security of your property to give you peace of mind. Respect for Your Home: I'll treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout my stay. Emergency Preparedness: I'm trained in pet first aid and know when to seek veterinary care in case of emergencies. Your pets' well-being is my top priority. Communication: Just like when caring for pets in my own home, I'll maintain open communication with you, providing updates and photos to keep you informed about your pets and home. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or at the pet owner's home, my approach is centered around the well-being, safety, and happiness of the animals. I adapt to their specific needs and routines, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve while you're away.

About: I've been a lifelong animal lover, growing up with both cats and all sizes of dogs since I was four years old. This passion for pet care has stayed with me my entire life. My family and I have been proudly providing a loving home for animals for decades. Our first cat, adopted in 2008, is still a healthy and happy member of the family! We currently have three friendly cats who are all well-socialized and comfortable with both dogs and other cats. Our home is a safe and welcoming environment for all pets. For dog and cat boarding, we have a dedicated, private room where your pet will sleep, eat, and relax. This ensures they have peace and quiet, and a space to decompress and feel secure. Your pet will also have plenty of opportunities to socialize! Our household includes a friendly senior Shih Tzu who adores playing with both dogs and cats, as well as our three sweet and well-socialized cats. We are experts at a gradual introduction process to ensure an stress-free and positive experience for all animals. Most of my day is free to take care of your best buddies, They will be supervised the whole time and well taken care of. For my shih tzu, she has unlimited access to our private gated garden and we take her often on walks and trips. For the cats they have the whole house to explore, hygienic litter boxes around the house and toy rooms to play and have fun, we treat any furry buddy same as we treat our own.
