“I had booked April for a whole week and after a year of not trusting anyone new with my boy, April was amazing on time, sent updates and my boy actually cried when she left was a pleasure using her”

About: I’ve been entrusted to look after many friend and family dogs, and have always loved meeting and looking after new ones. I completed a one week homestay away in Brighton with Follow My Leads recently for a dachsund, and received very good feedback from the dog walking business’ founder Aimee. I have sat, cared for, worked with, and loved all kinds of furry friends, from small to big, excitable to shy, and nervous or anxious pups too. I’ve looked after a lot of different breeds and always enjoy learning about new ones. My primary base is in Enfield, North London, but I have a second East London base near Victoria Park, which I find is a fan favourite for the pups I look after. I am well connected across London and my two bases, so I am happy to travel anywhere in London within the M25. I drive and have a car too. I work part time as a cover teacher, so I have very good availability in the week/on weekends, and on the evenings of my work days - for things like overnight stays, walks and drop ins for your doggo. As the school year is about to end soon, my availability will be very good throughout the week from Friday 25th July onwards. I have a good knowledge of how and when to give water breaks on hot days, walking in shaded areas to prevent overheating for excitable pups in the park and when it is time to rest or go home. I am experienced in knowing how to spot the signs of tiredness or anxiety, and how to help alleviate those symptoms safely for your pup. If your dog is more on the anxious or nervous side, that’s okay too. I have looked after dogs who need extra care when it comes to social interactions with other dogs or people. I’d love to hear if your dog needs some extra love or care when it comes to specific situations, or if they might be a little shy with a new sitter. I treat all dogs with the patience and attention they need :)

About: My brother's German Shepherd, Finn, I have looked after recently for six days while he had an eye infection. Finn is also a rescue with an anxiety condition and so needed medication administered. I also have experience with puppies as well. I feel therefore with my experience and calm demeanour I am a good pet-sitter. It also brings me great joy and contentment to be around pets. It is currently my only method of income, so I have a lot of availability in terms of schedule. This means that unless I have other jobs lined-up or a holiday for example, I will be completely free to care for your pet. In the pet's home I would be with the pet for as long as they needed, whether that meant constantly or only a little bit throughout the day. I also have experience of addressing health needs, and so would be very vigilant with that if needed. Overall I am always contented to be around pets, so would give them one hundred percent of my attention one hundred percent of the time.

About: Spent my whole life around dogs, Large & Small, grew up with a Labrador, Retrievers, Collies and a Pug Cross Shih tzu called Neville. No stranger to cats either, had 7 cats in our household at one point. I am working part time from home with flexible hours and it’s easy for me to break away for walks and some needed play time I like to make sure the animals have their comforts and necessities to hand at all times from toys to accessible water. And I actively ensure hazards and potential messes are avoided.

“Poppy was fantastic with Herbert, came to visit him before the day I had requested so they could get use to each other, straight away I knew I had picked the right person. Herbert has major anxiety separation and I felt at ease going out knowing he would be liked after, I was not disappointed will definitely be using Poppy again when needed. Thank you Poppy you have a fan in Herbert”

“Judy was amaxing from day one. She met us prior to the sitting and you could immediately tell she was an animal lover. Zeya warmed to her very quickly so we knew she would be in good hands. Judy kept us updated daily with pictures and an outline of where they had been that day. Zeya looked very happy and healthy when we returned from holiday and we would definately recommend and use Judy again.”

About: Growing up my family have always owned rescue dogs, all with different troubled starts to life. Throughout my whole life we have fostered a large variety of dogs, lots of which needed both physical and mental specialist training. These included all sorts of breeds! At times we had chihuahuas, and other times Rottweilers - no size or breed would put us off! As well as this, I have minded and walked dogs throughout my whole life. I have cared for physically disabled dogs, and dogs who need specialist health care. For 2 years, from December 2022 I worked as a staff member at pups yoga. We care for dogs aged 7-13 weeks whilst running the classes. We covered various canine training, such as puppy first aid. From a young age my love for dogs was apparent, I have a natural way with dogs, and really do love what I do and judging from their reactions, they seem to love me too. I am also fully DBS checked and insured to look after your fur babies❤️🐾 I currently work from home and do not have set hours, so can base my day around your dogs needs! Whether this is weekly walks or a 1 off drop in, I am happy to work around you. I drive and have my own car, so am able to transport to you! I am home most, if not all of the day, so your dog would have round the clock care/ attention. I live in a ground floor maisonette with a good sized, enclosed garden. I live with just my husband, and my pet tortoise Clive, who is fenced off above doggy reach. I live opposite a large field, and 5 min walk from a large dog park. I have my own insurance and am able to provide references from various dog owners!

“Nikki was really fantastic for my 'special' dog. My lovely Jack Russell has some reactivity to hands, so needs a careful and frankly forgiving approach. Nikki was understanding, resourceful, and communicative throughout. I was very appreciative of her working with us! Could not recommend her more.”

Laura A.
“I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Laura as a dedicated, trustworthy, and experienced pet sitter. She has been caring for my three pedigree Bengal cats for over five years, and during that time has become not just a reliable caregiver, but an integral part of our lives. Anyone familiar with Bengal cats knows they are highly intelligent, energetic, and require a unique level of engagement and understanding. Laura has consistently provided exceptional care—ensuring their specific dietary, environmental, and emotional needs are met with patience, professionalism, and genuine affection. Whether it’s administering medication, adhering to feeding routines, or simply giving them the attention and playtime they demand, she has always gone above and beyond. I travel frequently and never once have I had to worry about their well-being in her care. I have returned to a clean home, happy and healthy cats, and often with a detailed update of their behavior, meals, and moments of mischief—which I truly appreciate. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pets as if they were their own, but that’s exactly what Laura does. I recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a loving, dependable, and experienced pet sitter. Sincerely, Rebecca Smith”

I get regular updates, photos, and even little notes about how the walk went, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s clear that Danielle treats each dog as if they were her own.
