About: I love spending time with animals - feeding, cuddles, walks, playing, or just company - and they do, too! I regularly look after my friends', neighbours' and family's dogs, cats & guniea pigs. I have experience living with nervous rescue dog as co-mum for 4 years, am a tolerated servant & company to several cats for day visits and regular weeks of holiday care, and am a trusted friend for weekend care and walks to many wonderful dogs! I work part-time and often from home so flexible to spend free days with furry friends, or pop in for lunchtime visits and/ or walks etc. Also available for overnight and weekend care in your home. About: I am a young professional permanently working from home and a dog lover, looking for opportunities to care for a dog until I am able to give a permanent home to a pet of my own. I grew up with an energetic Jagdterrier mix who passed away a year ago at a ripe old age of 17. I've been looking after friend's dogs in the last few years and watching an unhealthy amount of dog videos 🤣and it's just not cutting the mustard as I really miss looking after a dog. I work mon-fri from home and my partner works from home 2-3 days a week, so there will always be someone home to look after your pet. I work flexible hours and have minimal work meetings, so can accommodate most pickups/drop-offs and provide lots of play breaks and walks. Would love a companion during work hours and walk them several times during the working day. Long walks and lots of cuddles are guaranteed, I'll be as excited about them as your dog is! I am based in Newington with great walks in the meadows and around Arthur's seat/Holyrood. I live with my partner, he is away at work 2-3 days per week, but may join in the evenings on weekends. I would like to avoid having pets in bed, unless absolutely necessary, but look forward to cuddling up with them on the couch.

About: My family have had dogs my entire life, all of which have been such special characters! My last dog was particularly special, having had her for 15+ years. Miss having the opportunity to look after her whenever I wish! I'd regularly look after her when my parents went away. Often I'd keep her for months at my flat as we both loved each others company. I'm very active and love going for walks so if you're dog is particularly energetic, we'll just have to go for a long walk, won't we! I'm currently working part-time in the mornings only (08:00 - 11/12:00). My partner works from home so if your dog struggles being alone for more than a couple hours at a time, he will always be in to reassure them. However, most Wednesdays to Fridays I stay in Glasgow as I have college on those days. Therefore, I'm best suited to look after your pet(s) from Friday evening/Saturday morning until Tuesday evening unless during public holidays. Our flat does not have a garden and is two floors up. It's a spacious flat however and I'd take them out for walks regularly, depending on their needs. If your dog struggles with stairs and is not too large, I can pick them up as I used to do with my old dog who was a collie spaniel cross.

If your pet does not require walking, there is also plenty of space inside to keep your pets safe and secured.

About: I have lived around cats and dogs my whole life, and just love to be around animals. I have recently moved to Edinburgh from New Zealand and love to be outdoors (with a dog preferably). I have recent experience caring for my large breed, elderly doggo Cooper, he is now 14 and requires more time and care which I have really enjoyed doing for him. I also have a ginger tom called Antony... Enough said! Both my boys are back home in New Zealand, I would love the opportunity to care and look after your loved ones while I am here. I am currently unemployed, after working as a paramedic in Wellington, New Zealand. I am walking and running everyday, multiple times a day, to keep active and a routine. I enjoy going for smaller and larger walks (up to 10km), and would be happy to run with dogs up to around 5km. This would fit perfectly for walking doggo's and popping in for pet care. My partner George ( who would be an additional care taker at times) is also a huge animal lover and works from home time to time and would love some cuddles. We make sure our pets have a good routine and can know what to expect. Treats, walks/runs, cuddles, ensuring they feels safe, have their own space and just to hang out. We have no pets in our apartment and are close to many parks and trails.
