“I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention our dog received! Feng was incredibly communicative throughout—always keeping me updated with how the walk went and Roxy's progress. What really stood out was how well he understood my dog’s specific needs, especially the need for short, easy walks due to her health condition and medication she was taking. It’s clear he genuinely cares and takes the time to tailor his approach to each dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable dog walker!”

About: I love spending time with animals - feeding, cuddles, walks, playing, or just company - and they do, too! I regularly look after my friends', neighbours' and family's dogs, cats & guniea pigs. I have experience living with nervous rescue dog as co-mum for 4 years, am a tolerated servant & company to several cats for day visits and regular weeks of holiday care, and am a trusted friend for weekend care and walks to many wonderful dogs! I work part-time and often from home so flexible to spend free days with furry friends, or pop in for lunchtime visits and/ or walks etc. Also available for overnight and weekend care in your home. I am a very responsible, respectful, and caring person, and will look after both your pet and your home carefully and lovingly. While I cannot have my own pet in my flat, I am happy to look after yours!

“Robbie has been great with Coco, goes above and beyond to look after her and is totally reliable. Would highly recommend and will rebook Robbie whenever we need him for walking Coco .”

About: I am a young professional permanently working from home and a dog lover, looking for opportunities to care for a dog until I am able to give a permanent home to a pet of my own. I grew up with an energetic Jagdterrier mix who passed away a year ago at a ripe old age of 17. I've been looking after friend's dogs in the last few years and watching an unhealthy amount of dog videos 🤣and it's just not cutting the mustard as I really miss looking after a dog. I work mon-fri from home and my partner works from home 2-3 days a week, so there will always be someone home to look after your pet. I work flexible hours and have minimal work meetings, so can accommodate most pickups/drop-offs and provide lots of play breaks and walks. Would love a companion during work hours and walk them several times during the working day. Long walks and lots of cuddles are guaranteed, I'll be as excited about them as your dog is! I am based in Newington with great walks in the meadows and around Arthur's seat/Holyrood. I live with my partner, he is away at work 2-3 days per week, but may join in the evenings on weekends. I would like to avoid having pets in bed, unless absolutely necessary, but look forward to cuddling up with them on the couch.

About: Hello! I am a final year veterinary medicine student at the University of Edinburgh. I have loads of experience working with animals in and out of the veterinary setting. I have been dog-sitting as well as dog walking for over 6 years and have experience working at kennels and Catteries. I can assure you that your pet will be in great hands with me :) Please send a message to know about my availability! My Calendar is currently flexible and I can try to work something out for your pets! I’m more than happy to look after your pet at my flat but am also open to taking care of them in your own home if you’d prefer that. I am comfortable with feeding, walking and playing with dogs and can also look after multiple pets if needed.

“Allyson was very helpful for a late booking of my energetic spaniel. First time I have had a Walk Report! Tal was very content on my return - would definitely book Allyson again.”

“Laura was great with Edith and really flexible about picking her up while I was at work. Highly recommend. Thanks!”

About: I love dogs, and am drawn to them wherever I go. I am a Canadian living abroad and while I cannot have my own pet I am really hoping to help people take care of theirs as if they were my own. I have had the honour of having 3 Bernese mountain dog pups and miss mine greatly! My schedule is very flexible. I currently work part time and can make most days and times work, including weekends or evenings if need be. I have a courtyard and lots of parks and green space near my place. I am able to provide your pet with lots of exercise and changes of scenery.

About: With over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including rescuing and fostering strays, I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of canine needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide your dog with constant attention, companionship, and timely care throughout the day. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to treating every dog like family. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior dog needing extra TLC, I adjust my approach to suit each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with feeding routines, basic training, and administering medication if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I strive to create a calm and loving environment where they feel truly at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I usually start my mornings early with outdoor time or a walk, and I can easily adjust my day to match your pet’s needs, whether that’s a midday walk, medication schedule, or just extra cuddle time. Weekends are also open, so your pet will never feel rushed or left out. As an in-home pet sitter, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for your beloved pets. I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and surroundings to minimize stress while you’re away. Safety First: I adhere strictly to your pet’s established schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any medical needs. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed and that your home remains as you left it. Building Trust: I believe in open and honest communication. Before any booking, I offer a meet-and-greet to get acquainted with you and your pet, discuss any specific needs, and answer any questions you may have. During the sitting period, I provide regular updates with photos and messages to keep you informed and reassured. Respecting Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout my stay. I follow any specific instructions you provide regarding household routines or pet care. Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, with access to your preferred veterinarian and emergency contacts as needed. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I strive to provide a nurturing and secure environment, ensuring your pet feels loved and cared for in your absence.

About: My family have had dogs my entire life, all of which have been such special characters! My last dog was particularly special, having had her for 15+ years. Miss having the opportunity to look after her whenever I wish! I'd regularly look after her when my parents went away. Often I'd keep her for months at my flat as we both loved each others company. I'm very active and love going for walks so if you're dog is particularly energetic, we'll just have to go for a long walk, won't we! I'm currently working part-time in the mornings only (08:00 - 11/12:00). My partner works from home so if your dog struggles being alone for more than a couple hours at a time, he will always be in to reassure them. However, most Wednesdays to Fridays I stay in Glasgow as I have college on those days. Therefore, I'm best suited to look after your pet(s) from Friday evening/Saturday morning until Tuesday evening unless during public holidays. Our flat does not have a garden and is two floors up. It's a spacious flat however and I'd take them out for walks regularly, depending on their needs. If your dog struggles with stairs and is not too large, I can pick them up as I used to do with my old dog who was a collie spaniel cross.

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember - whether it was caring for our beloved Family pets growing up or stopping to greet every dog that I meet in the street. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my commitment to providing personalized, attentive care that goes beyond feeding schedules and walks. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, habits, and needs - whether that means sticking to a specific routine or simply offering extra patience and affection. With a strong track record of reliability, clear communication, and genuine care, I make sure pet owners feel at ease knowing their animals are safe, comfortable, and truly cared for in their absence. This isn’t just a job for me, it’s a responsibility and passion I bring to every visit. If you’re looking for someone who you can rely on, truly loves animals and treats them like family, I am that person. I am currently working full-time but I am able to look after your pet when needed during weekends. I will be available from 1900 on Fridays, through to Sunday evening. Whether you need an energetic walk, short day visit or night stay, I will be able to help during this time. My flat is situated next to the Meadows in Edinburgh. Although we do not have our own private garden, we step outside the front door and the Meadows is right there. We also do have a small patch of grass gated at the front of the building. If your pet does not require walking, there is also plenty of space inside to keep your pets safe and secured.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats in my home for more than 10 years. And I am also a professional equestrian rider and horse-keeper for 7 years. I am good at taking care of those big friends. I am a trustable pet sitter, especially for those big dogs. I am currently a student. During the vacation, I am available for whole day. If you need the dog walking and drop-in visits, please contact me at least one day before. My living place is not available to keep your fur babies. But, I am available to take the drop-in visits and dog walking. I have ten years experience to take care of your dogs, offering foods and waters, playing with them, and staying with them

About: I have lived around cats and dogs my whole life, and just love to be around animals. I have recently moved to Edinburgh from New Zealand and love to be outdoors (with a dog preferably). I have recent experience caring for my large breed, elderly doggo Cooper, he is now 14 and requires more time and care which I have really enjoyed doing for him. I also have a ginger tom called Antony... Enough said! Both my boys are back home in New Zealand, I would love the opportunity to care and look after your loved ones while I am here. I am currently unemployed, after working as a paramedic in Wellington, New Zealand. I am walking and running everyday, multiple times a day, to keep active and a routine. I enjoy going for smaller and larger walks (up to 10km), and would be happy to run with dogs up to around 5km. This would fit perfectly for walking doggo's and popping in for pet care. My partner George ( who would be an additional care taker at times) is also a huge animal lover and works from home time to time and would love some cuddles. We make sure our pets have a good routine and can know what to expect. Treats, walks/runs, cuddles, ensuring they feels safe, have their own space and just to hang out. We have no pets in our apartment and are close to many parks and trails.

“Daniela was excellent. She’s walked my dog a number of times now. Very reliable and great communication. Will book again in the future.”

“Left Mika overnight with Kassandra. She is normally pretty nervous to stay away from us but when we went to pick her up she didn't want to leave because she was having so much fun.”

About: I have cared for animals my whole life, growing up with a loving dog, cat and gerbils. I have also dog & cat sat for friends for over 7 years. For the past two years, I’ve travelled through Workaway and cared for dogs, cats, geese, ducks, chickens, goats, pigs, donkeys, and horses! I currently work freelance and part-time, fully remote with flexible hours so I can work my schedule around your pets’ needs. As a writer, a lot of my work will be done in my own time, so even while I’m working your pet will have my company and attention. Please note - I do not have a drivers license. Please leave contact details for your local vet and a trustworthy friend in case of an emergency. Having grown up with a dog who eats everything, I am very aware and careful when keeping an environment safe for pets. Your pet will have my attention and mindfulness in your home and garden, keeping them safe and happy throughout the sit.

“Doro is a fantastic, caring and considerate pet sitter. So many animals take an instant love to her that myself and other friends have started to nickname her the ‘dog/cat whisperer!’ Doro regularly looks after my dog nervous Romanian rescue dog Pippin who has been completely besotted with her since the day they met over 7 years ago! “Alice looked after my dog while I was away on a business trip, and I couldn’t have asked for someone more reliable and caring. She was incredibly patient and attentive—taking my dog on regular walks, feeding her right on schedule, and even sending me photo updates that gave me peace of mind. Although my dog was unfamiliar to her at first, Alice quickly bonded with her and treated her with so much love and understanding. It was clear she genuinely adores animals. I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-groomed pup who clearly enjoyed her time. Jiajun W.
“I am writing to highly recommend Jiajun as a professional and caring dog sitter and dog walker. Over the time that he has cared for my dog, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals. Jiajun has provided weekly drop-in sitting for my dog, and I have always felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in safe and compassionate hands. Each visit was carried out with professionalism—whether it was feeding, cleaning, or simply spending time with my dog to ensure they felt comfortable and calm. He never missed a visit and always provided updates with photos and notes, which I appreciated greatly. In addition to drop-in care, Jiajun has also been our go-to for dog walking. My dog is energetic and can be a little reactive at times, but he handled every walk with patience, control, and a deep understanding of canine behavior. Walks were always punctual, safe, and tailored to my dog’s specific needs and personality. What truly sets Jiajun apart is his genuine affection and empathy toward animals. If you're looking for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to animal care, I wholeheartedly recommend Jiajun for any drop-in pet-sitting or dog-walking needs.”
