“Elayna was fantastic with Charlie, spent lots of time playing and petting him even though she only needed to feed him. She also accepted my booking very last minute and extended it whilst I was away as our plans changed. I couldn't recommend Elayna enough, she goes above and beyond.”

“I’m so glad I left my cats in the care of Kayla she clearly adores animals and she was so good with my shy cats! She was always punctual for the visit and was actually usually early, she gave me a thorough update of the cats and plenty of photos of them. I’ll definitely be asking her to look after them again, highly recommended!”

“Valentina is a very trustworthy and caring person. I have booked Valentina twice to look after our cat and she’s been great every time. I would highly recommend Valentina and will definitely book her again. Thank you 🙏”

“Zhi looked after our cat Luna for 2 weeks while we were away visiting family (drop in visit). My cat is not really friendly with new people so we were a bit nervous, but Zhi managed to earn her trust very fast. We have come home to a very happy Luna. He always provided updates, photos and videos for us. I highly recommend him, he went above and beyond to give the best care for Luna. We look forward booking with him again. Thank you Zhi once again.”

“Couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Susan. Layli kept me updated with not just photos and videos but also through text as to how Susan was each day, giving myself great peace of mind. 100% recommended and will always be my go to when I'm away.”

“Leony was absolutely fantastic while looking after my cat Faye while I was away. From the moment we first spoke, I felt completely at ease knowing Faye would be in safe hands. Leony was warm, professional, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept me updated with lovely photos and messages, which really helped ease my mind while I was gone. Faye can be a little shy with new people, but she warmed up to Leony almost instantly, a true sign of how calm and caring she is. When I got home, Faye was happy, healthy, and clearly very well looked after. The flat was spotless, her food and litter were exactly as they should be, and it was clear she’d been given plenty of love and attention.”

“Freja turned up on time as agreed and both her and the dogs got on great. Gave her special instructions on how to walk them, as you can only have two off the lead at a time other wise they like to go "hunting" and she was happy to obliege. Freja was lovely to talk to and very fexlible with her times which was great. She's a lovely lass and could handle my three energetic dogs, so i highly reccomend.”

“Susan was wonderful and thorough, keeping us from stressing about the kitties during our holliday. I have some shy cats who need a bit of extra care and Susan was patient and caring, meeting and exceeding expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone with pets.”

About: I've never lived in a pet free home. Having taken care of a cat, chinchillas, a dog and a whole aquarium after asking for a pet fish for my 3rd birthday. I'm working part time over summer in a retail store in the center of town. From there I can easily commute to any part of Aberdeen and have a driving licence. There will be no escapees on my watch! Quite often my neighbours dog would escape and I'd have to retrieve them. I am very familiar with animal behaviours and keeping a close eye on them, making sure they aren't hungry, sad or needing to go potty.

About: I’ve looked after and taken care of many different pets over the years, along with doing a year of animal care at college and is enthusiastic to help. I’m currently looking for work so my hours might change but currently am unemployed and happy to look after many pets and gain more experience. I have multiple enrichment objects that keep my pet happy and keep treats for him. Unfortunately do not have any things for dogs as I don’t have the space and don’t own a dog, but will ensure that your dog is happy and healthy in your home.

“Thanks for looking after the cats. Feed and cleaned litter trays. Left photos to show cats were well. Would recommend”

About: I grew up in Australia where I had pets constantly from a young age. My last dog was so well-loved she lived to be 21 years old! I have recently relocated to the UK after several years of travelling around Europe, during which time I have done a lot of pet-sitting. I've done about 30 pet-sits in the UK during this time, and looked after over 60 animals, predominantly dogs and cats but also sheep, rabbits, hamsters and a tortoise. I love all animals, but dogs have a special place in my heart. I have taken several puppies through training school, and worked in a dog training facility in Greece for some time, so I am adept at training and have a good understanding of canine behaviour. I am very active and love taking dogs for walks or playing fetch in the park. I will take a dog everywhere than I can as I am truly happiest with a dog by my side. I like to think I repay them by giving them all the love, treats, cuddles and attention I can! I am currently in a period of career transition and can be very flexible with timing of dog walks, homes visits or pet-sitting. In Australia I worked as a doctor, but I have decided to return to studies here in Aberdeen. I have always found studying is better with a pet companion, and love breaking up study sessions with dog walks. I am very responsible and will supervise pets diligently. After looking after so many different pets in their own homes I have learned to be very adaptable to the owners' preferences, and will adhere stringently to any rules regarding pets. I have experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from a stubborn but adorable Cocker Spaniel to a very headstrong but no less adorable 40kg Hovawart. I know how to keep dogs safe on walks and ensure they have lots of fun doing it.

“Tyra was perfect as always. She came to drop in on Frankie and did everything asked. He was very happy when we got back from our trip. Would definitely recommend.”

“Audrey was a fantastic cat-sitter for us. She looked after our two young energetic cats for two weeks. She provided pictures on every visit and made us feel at ease that our cats were being really well looked after. Will definitely reach out to her for future visits and would recommend her to anyone.”

About: Currently, own a German Shepard named Nala. She's 4 years old. I love all dogs and am willing to spend hours playing with them. I am willing to travel around the metropolitan area and enjoy the company of all dogs, big or small, old or young. I do not have any “special skills” when it comes to working with dogs. I just play and listen, give hugs and treats, go on walks and/or runs, and just enjoy the company of the dog. Nala is the queen of our household. She's walked first thing in the morning and right after work. Her needs are a priority for us. Nala is our only dog. She was a rescue with a bad history so she's a one dog household. I'm an avid runner and I am willing to travel to walk dogs several miles.

About: I do not have my own pets right now, but have occasionally taken care of my sister's and friends' dogs. I have an HNC in Animal Care. I am available most evenings and am also free majority of the weekends. I might be able to fit in some lunchtime walks too as I own a car. Although I live in a flat currently, there is a decent sized fenced off communal garden behind our building. I do not own a crate.

Emma G.
“This was our first experience of leaving Rolo for any length of time so we were keen to find the right person. Fortunately Emma applied, and from our first virtual meeting we knew that our boy and house would be in good hands. Following the initial chat, Emma established a group chat and made the effort to visit us and Rolo at home before the sit officially started. This gave us all an opportunity to make sure that we had made the right choice. This reinforced our decision and meant we could relax and concentrate on planning our trip away. During our trip, Emma provided us with an initial update and then on an ad hoc basis as agreed as we were not looking for daily updates. The updates were informative and showed pictures of a very happy boy. Emma had another sit to go to on the day of our return but was good enough to wait until we had arrived home. The house was spotless, all of the plants were alive and we were greeted by an extremely happy boy. It was apparent that Rolo and Emma had formed a very close bond and he knew something was up as she prepared to leave. Following Emma's departure, this was further emphasised by the fact that Rolo was a little out of sorts with us and took a couple of days to adjust back to his former routine. On the morning after Emma's departure, it was obvious Rolo was looking for her and declined his breakfast in protest. All in all, our first experience of house sitting was extremely positive, thanks to Emma. We hope to be able to book Emma again later in the year.”
