“My family and I were going away for an extended period of time and needed a sitter for our doggy while we were away. I went to her house to visit prior to leaving my dog with her, and she and her husband were very welcoming opening their home to me to show me where my doggy would be housed for the extended period of time. That made me feel very comfortable leaving her there under their care in that as most of you know, our doggies are like our children and that’s most definitely the way we feel about our dog. Mary and her husband took great care of our dog while we were out of town. She sent lots of pictures and I could tell that she was being loved and that she was comfortable and happy throughout the stay which made me feel very good and at ease during our trip, Thank you Mary for taking such great care of our dog, and I would highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for someone that is compassionate about dogs snd has a beautiful home that is very well suited for pets to be really comfortable and safe.”

About: Hi! I’m Kate, a dog owner based in Greenville. My own dog, Isla, is an active German Shepherd mix, so I’m very familiar with daily exercise, enrichment, training practice, and the patience that young or energetic dogs sometimes need. As a lifelong animal lover, I am comfortable caring for all types of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and rabbits, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’ll treat your pet the way I would want someone to treat mine because I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I am comfortable with energetic dogs, larger breeds, and dogs with special needs. I pay close attention to each animals body language and personality will never force interactions. Whether your pet needs an active walk, playtime, or calm companionship, I’ll follow your instructions carefully and help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and boarding throughout the week. I plan my bookings carefully so each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and rest while staying as close as possible to their usual routine. I provide a safe, non-smoking home with a fenced yard and one resident dog. For boarding, introductions with my dog or other residents are supervised, and pets can be separated for meals, rest, or personal space as needed. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, and crate instructions. During walks and drop-ins, I double-check doors and gates, use secure leashes or harnesses, respect each pet’s boundaries, and send regular photos and updates.
“Chino was well taken care of while I was away. Chino is shy and when I picked her up she did not seem shy at all with them, especially with Shannon's lovely daughter. I would recommend her and she also has a privacy fence surrounding her backyard, which put me at ease also.I would definitely ask for her services again!”

Christina's pet yard was amazing. The cedar chips, smelled amazing and were kept clean. There was a pet agility course. During our meet and greet she taught me quite alot and helped my pup learn to use the rope tug pole. She kept my pup well exercised and sent daily updates. Her pictures were better than anything I have taken of my dog. She had a destructive and routine that allowed my dog to get more socialization with her dog. I think my dog came back with better manners than I dropped her off with! Christina has years of big breed experience. She is probably great with all sizes. But as I have a Belgian Malinois I wanted to make sure thst her first time boarding went well. Christina went above and beyond to take care of my dog.
I picked Cooper up today after a two day visit with Shana (And Archie!). A few hours after we got home, he was trying to tell me he needed something...after running through the usual things, I asked him if he wanted to go to Archie's and he ran and sat by the garage door. I think that is the best review I can give!
