“Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. My two personal dogs were an integral part of my life for 12 wonderful years. They both passed in the Summer of 2020. It took me awhile to get another dog, but I did finally get our Elvis (a bloodhound) in October 2022. He is almost 5 years old with a giant heart! About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, I am a pro belly rubber. I feel a connection with animals and I truly love taking care of them. I've taken care of friends' pets and even my former work manager's. I also volunteered at an Animal Shelter and i enjoyed spending time with them… playing, walking, and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and and feel loved. I’m responsible and patient because I emphatize with animals and i know our pets are important to our family. I’m graduating as a massage therapist at the end of June, 2026 so I’ll have a very flexible schedule since I plan to work independently. I'm currently living with roommates and can't bring pets home. “So our dogs are never without us, much less a "Stranger." We tried a 9-hour day visit with Susan. I expected to come back to the dogs so excited to see me and happy to be with mom.. No. I had to chase them down to put on their harnesses. They did NOT want to go home. Even when I got it on, they planted and didn't want to leave. On the way home it was all whining and whimpering that I took them away. Geez. Passed on the couch all night; didnt care that dad was home. 9/10 only because my dogs hate that I took them away from the magical place. 10/10 recommended :) Thanks Miss Susan!”
