“Dawn took excellent care of my two dogs, with two drop-in visits daily over a week. She spent good time with them, reported to me how they did, and sent pictures. My older dog is 16 and requires special care and patience, and Dawn was just super with her. I highly recommend!”

“Needed a last minute emergency check in for my pets and Kylie was super quick to respond and was on the ball. She was lovely and will use her again as needed. Thanks Kylie!”

“Christina has taken care of our sweet Henry on two occasions and we couldn’t be more thrilled with her service and care! She is professional, communicative, and genuinely loves and cares for your pets as if they were her own. Thank you Christina!”

“Mary was wonderful with drop-in visits for our dog. She sent updates with pictures and arrived on time each time. She is a very down-to-earth person and even offered to check in on our dog more because of the fireworks. We will definitely ask her to care for our dog again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we could not have chosen a better sitter for our 2 "boys", than Katrina. She was extremely punctual in the daily visits and our boys loved her. We appreciated the daily updates and pics that showed our fur babies enjoying her company. It is obvious that she is an animal lover and we enjoyed meeting her for a pre-visit, which put our minds at ease about leaving them for the week. I would highly recommend her services and have no hesitations about using her services in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of our babies!”

“Lauren did a fantastic job dropping in and taking care of my dog. He is a little shy and hesitant to leave the home without his owner, but Lauren was very patient and bonded with him through play and obedience work. She even got him to come out of his shell on walks, which was unexpected but a great surprise. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Lauren take care of my pets again.”

“Laura came twice a day to feed and check in on my 2 cats for several days. Cats were happy and never once complained to me. All was good. Will use Laura's services again if she'll have us.”

“I hired Helen to watch after our two dogs during a transition period. Her flexibility allowed for three 60min visits which included dog walks each week. Helen was always on time and sent super detailed Rover updates. Both dogs loved her visits. I would definitely recommend Helen for any dog needs you may have!”

“Deb did a fantastic job with Susi and Mina during her 30-minute drop-in visit! She was on time, played with them, let them out, and kept everything tidy. I’ll definitely keep booking her!”

“Danielle took good care of our little dog while we were gone for the weekend. She gave lots of updates with details about how each visit went. Will definitely book from here on out!”

“Jamaya did drop-in visits twice a day for our two pups while we were on vacation. Recent experiences taking them to other people’s homes had proven too stressful for our oldest dog (16yrs), so we thought letting them stay at home would be better—and it was! Jamaya was so good to them, and gave them so much time and attention each visit. Best communicator of anyone I’ve ever left the care of my dogs with, and we texted and she sent photo updates daily while we were away. I can’t recommend Jamaya enough, and will continue to use her services for future trips as well.”

About: I’ve had dogs of many different breeds since I was born, so I’m experienced with just about every type of dog. I currently have no dogs in the house and devote my time to full time pet sitting. I also frequently care for my sister’s two dogs, who I consider my niece and nephew, a female poodle, Vivienne, and a male Maltese-Bichon Frise, Wally, six and three years old, respectively. Also my mother recently adopted a puppy from the shelter, we think he is a french bulldog/boston terrier/boxer mix, his name is Griswald and I looove him. I love dogs of all kinds and sizes, and I volunteer with Pug Rescue Austin when I can. My favorite (and only) form of exercise is dog walking, and I would love to care for your dog-child. I’m currently dog-sitting full time, so I am free to devote all my time to taking care of your dog. My dogs stay with their grandmother when I’m boarding a dog, so your dog-child will receive my full attention ❣️🐕 I make sure that the area is safe, clean, and has plenty of toys. Your baby is always allowed on my furniture, couch, bed, everything; to make themselves at home and hang out and cuddle with me. I maintain a feeding, walking, and potty time schedule.
About: I grew up on a farm caring for many types of animals including dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. Now, I care for my own dog and pet sit for family and friends. I work from home, with a flexible work schedule. This allows me to be available most days and times during the week to care for your pets. I will give your pet the care and love that I give my own dog. I will provide safe, fun and loving care for your pets.
About: Hi I’m Sara! I am in nursing school currently and enjoy helping others around me. I have had plenty of experience around dogs and taking care of animals. I helped run my family’s dog business that bred Italian mastiffs and got my very own dog named Bella at the age of 6 who was a Multipoo. I am taking full time nursing courses and am only available from around 3:30-7PM from Monday through Thursday as well as anytime on Friday and Saturdays. I can feed, water, walk, crate, and play with your dog/s. I can also clean up after them and keep up with their daily routine
About: I have worked in animal care for four years now, and I love it. I am currently in vet Tech school and have lots of experience working with animals. I have worked in kennels, doggy, daycare, groomers, and even horse barns. I love all animals and would be happy to share that love with your pets! I am currently in school, and have a pretty inconsistent work schedule, leaving me not too terribly busy! I am very flexible with time, and would love to make time for your pets! It is important to ensure safety and comfort to the animals! As well as assurance to the owners. I keep a good eye on the pets, and am very aware (for instance a hole in a fence would not go unnoticed by me).
Travelers Rest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kylie took incredible care of our sweet cats while we were away! Even our picky, anxious kitty came out to hang out with her. She was proactive, prompt, thoughtful, and thorough! She followed their routine perfectly and really loved on our babies. She sent tons of cute pictures and seeing how happy our boys were with her put me at ease. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Kylie again!

Christina did amazing with my two dogs! I was a little concerned that she wouldn’t be able to handle my German Shepherd and my other dog, but she did exactly as one should with larger dogs who are skeptical of a new person in the house. I also appreciated her asking about picking up the poop. Very punctual. Proven to be very dependable and mature.
