“I have never felt so good about leaving my fur babies. Lauren provided updates and pictures each visit which made my whole day and put me at ease knowing they were in the best care. My cats are my babies and she treated them like her own. Lauren’s response time was so quick and my request was last minute. Lauren is awesome! I will definitely be rebooking. My babies loved her!”

“Jessie is great! She is very patient with my puppy when she checks on her and even works with her to learn things we are trying to train her! I can tell by the pictures that my dog loves her and has a great time every time Jessie visits!”

“Nicole took great care of Dewey & Terra while we were on a cruise! She was always on time and went above and beyond in taking care of them. Definitely recommend booking her services!!”

“We are so lucky to have found Danielle! She was so responsive, sent lots of sweet photos, and took time to give our kitty lots of love while we were away. Highly recommend and will work with her again in the future if she’ll have us! 😊♥️”

“I hired Helen to watch after our two dogs during a transition period. Her flexibility allowed for three 60min visits which included dog walks each week. Helen was always on time and sent super detailed Rover updates. Both dogs loved her visits. I would definitely recommend Helen for any dog needs you may have!”

“Kimry was amazing with my fur babies! She was very professional and loved my pets as much as I do. I enjoyed the near professional quality photos and detailed reports of them throughout her visits. I will be using her for my future vacations! Thanks Kimry!”

About: I love all dogs, big and small. I currently have my foster fail Enzo from the Greenville Humane Society so your little (or big) ones will have a friend to play with. I have a soft spot for pitties and chihuahuas. I used to share my world with two wonderful pitties (cannot wait to see them at Rainbow Bridge). I would walk them at least four miles every day or go hiking on weekends. Enzo is now two so we chase balls and play with toys on our land and will go hiking when we can. We like to paddle board and climb mountains! I have been the designated furbaby sitter for all family pets. I love caring for animals and would love to interact with your little or big ones. It’s a doggie world and I’m living in it and loving every moment. I am currently a Greenville Tech nursing student. I am free on weekends and like to do outdoor activities if the weather is cool enough. Pet sitting is a part-time job I love. In my clients home, I will make sure all rules are followed. I will walk their baby on a leash and try to avoid over stimulating scenarios. I will provide their baby enough exercise so they are nice and tired.
“Catherine was excellent! Very communicative and sent pics of all the completed tasks. Was always on time and always stays the full 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend and use her again.”

“Needed someone last minute and early to feed/walk due to a last minute emergency dental appointment. She came through—kind, reliable, cares for my pup and doesn’t mind cleaning up after a not 100% housebroken old Yorkie 🥰🥰 highly recommend!”

About: I have been housesitting/dog sitting for about 5 years now, and I LOVE it! I love to show the dogs I’m watching special attention and spoil them ever so slightly. When I’m housesitting while dog sitting, that’s a bonus! Not only do I spoil the dog, but also the dog owners. I enjoy making sure the home is nice and tidy before the homeowners come home. I’ve never had any troubles with any dogs before - we were just meant to be! When you need a dog/house sitter, you can rely on me to care for your fur baby as much as you would! I currently am working full-time through Rover, so your pets will be well taken care of and played with. I grew up having a dog, so remembering to let them out and feed them is practically second nature for me! If your dog has a special diet or feeding time, no problem! I take care of the pet as if I’m their owner, showing special care and love while you are away. If needed, I do have a fenced in back yard at my home to take the dog to play around. Even though the dog is not mine, I always make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re gone.
“Such an awesome first experience with Rover! Michelle was excellent. Great with communication and pupdates with pics! Would definitely use her again, she seems to really love animals and took great care of them!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12, watching my neighbors’ and friends’ dogs whenever they needed a reliable sitter. I also have experience house sitting and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide potty breaks every 2–4 hours, play fetch, go on walks, give plenty of attention, and stick to their usual routine as much as possible. I absolutely love dogs of all breeds and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether it's playing ball, going to the park, or just relaxing together, I treat every dog like they're my own. Currently looking for a professional job at the moment so I have plenty of free time during the weeks/weekends to dog sit & house sit! Typically we feed our dogs twice a day. We let them out plenty and rather them get fresh air by letting them spend time outdoors in the backyard or sitting on the front porch. Then to finish off the day we either take them on a walk or I’ll take them to the park to throw the ball for them. And we of course give them lots of XOXO!

About: I have had cats and dogs all my life. They are family. I want to make sure every animal feels loved and cared for by owners and support people. I am currently not working, so I’m almost always available to stop over and play with your pet, or take for walks. Your baby will be in great hands when you need me. I have a fenced yard and take my dog Mae for 1-2 walks daily. I live alone with just Mae , so she is my baby right now.
About: I have lived with dogs for many years and also enjoyed being with my friends’ dogs! I am a careful worker and I love animals. I am currently in school, but I will be able to spend quality time with your pets! I am available throughout the week and can work within my schedule to fit your needs! I have two Labrador dogs at my house who are relaxed and willing to make friends. I do not own any pets at school. I love walking pets and playing with them.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Taylors
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kimry was absolutely the best, my cat is very shy and he warmed right. Loved the communication through out the drop ins, and overall how kind and professional. I will 100% request for any other pet sitting needs in the future.

Lauren was absolutely wonderful. I was very worried about one of my cats who had been sick recently. She not only updated me with information and pictures, but calmed my heart. I can tell how much both of my kitties loved her and all the attention she gave them.

This is my third time using Palina to care for Luna, and once again she did an amazing job. It’s such a relief knowing Luna is in good hands whenever I’m away. Palina is dependable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she watches. Luna always comes home happy, well cared for, and comfortable, which gives me complete peace of mind. I truly appreciate the attention and care she provides every time. I highly recommend Palina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Erin was fantastic watching our dogs while we were away for the holidays. She has so much experience and knowledge with all breeds. She asked all the right questions to make sure they would be comfortable and taken care of. She is communicative and so friendly. Our dogs were well taken care of and were felt comfortable being away knowing they were in great hands.

Nicole was fantastic! She stopped by to check on our cats, and her communication and responsiveness were truly A+. She shared pictures and notes after every visit, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. I would absolutely book her again. Thank you Nicole for everything.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
