About: Current foster for local shelters and rescues. I’ve cared for newborn and medically complex cats, kittens, puppies, adult dogs… the list goes on and on! I’ve also worked in two animal hospitals and have a bunch of pets of my own! Aside from relationship with the Lord, my family is my highest priority. I’m happily married, and I’m currently a stay at home mom to my three amazing children, and fur mom to our dogs, cats, bunnies and chickens. And what better way to spend my free time than by caring for foster animals in need and playing/walking other people’s pets?!?! Second to the Lord, my husband and children, my greatest joy is animals. I absolutely love fostering! About: I truly love spending time with all kinds of pets! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their animals. I know that dogs need their exercise and outdoor time, while cats might need a clean litter box and some interactive toy play. Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn off energy or your cat needs some gentle chin scratches, I am reliable, attentive, and will always send plenty of photo updates! I currently work morning and occasional afternoon shifts, typically from 5 AM–1 PM or 12 PM–5 PM. My schedule still allows me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive and reliable pet care. Outside of my work hours, I am available for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. We are comfortable with basic training and commands and love the old timers who need a little more TLC. We can’t wait to meet your fur babies. I (Katy) am currently a stay at home mom with my sweet first born son. I am very flexible during the week and would love to get on some walks with your pets. My husband offers available hands week day evenings as well as weekends. We have a fenced in back yard that our beagle loves to run around and play in. He is a spitfire when the energy is high, but can also lounge around the house when he knows it’s time to chill. We have a crate available if that is needed. However, our house is very pet friendly and open for your pet to make themselves at home.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
