I’m currently in nursing school and pet sitting through Rover full-time. Since most of my studying is done from home, I’m able to spend lots of time with the pets in my care, giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. It’s the perfect balance for me—I get to focus on my studies while also caring for and snuggling with the amazing pets I’m trusted to watch. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away!! 🥰

A typical day
I always try to match each pet’s personality and energy level. If they’re feeling relaxed, I’m more than happy to spend time cuddling, giving belly rubs, scratches, and lots of affection. If they’re feeling more energetic, I love taking them on walks or runs, visiting the park, playing fetch, or spending time with their favorite toys. Every pet is different, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happiest. My goal is always to create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment where your pet feels loved and well cared for while you’re away 😊

I’ve been caring for animals since I was about eleven years old. Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and my love for animals led me to start volunteering at a local shelter when I was young. What began as a childhood dream quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Through years of volunteering and hands-on experience, I’ve had the opportunity to care for animals with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. Spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved is something that truly brings me joy. My passion for animal care has only grown stronger over the years, and I would love the opportunity to share that dedication with you by helping care for your pets and making sure they’re happy while you’re away ☺️🐾

Karis did a wonderful job taking care of our cat over the holidays! She sent photos and videos and always made sure our pet felt loved while we were away. Will definitely rebook!
Karis was awesome with Arnold, she kept me updated and sent me videos and pictures throughout the whole time she was with Arnold. She even went ahead and vacuum so when I came back from my trip I wouldn’t have to deal with it. After all the shedding from Arnold throughout the week. I will definitely use her services whenever I need someone to take care of Arnold again, and recommend her to anyone that needs their pets taken care off.
Karis does a great job with the dogs, sends lots of photo updates, and leaves our house probably cleaner than she found it. Would use her again no doubt!
