“Lauren always gives us peace of mind when we go out of town. She provides lots of updates and pictures. Our dogs adore her even our new puppy Scout! I cant recommend her enough!!”

“Jessie is great! She is very patient with my puppy when she checks on her and even works with her to learn things we are trying to train her! I can tell by the pictures that my dog loves her and has a great time every time Jessie visits!”

“Danielle did a great job taking care of all three of our animals! She was communicative when needed but handled everything perfectly. I will definitely ask her to watch our critters again!”
“Emily is fantastic. I can tell by the pictures that my boy loves having her come by when I am at work. She’s detailed with his report cards, always punctual, and flexible with her schedule. Really happy to have someone in the area I can trust with my buddy 😁”

“Nicole was fantastic! She stopped by to check on our cats, and her communication and responsiveness were truly A+. She shared pictures and notes after every visit, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. I would absolutely book her again. Thank you Nicole for everything.”

“Catherine is amazing! She is communicative, always on time, and always leaves a bunch of pics of what she did while she did her visit. I’m the type that hates leaving my babies but I have total peace of mind with Catherine. Highly recommend!”

“Needed someone last minute and early to feed/walk due to a last minute emergency dental appointment. She came through—kind, reliable, cares for my pup and doesn’t mind cleaning up after a not 100% housebroken old Yorkie 🥰🥰 highly recommend!”

About: I love all dogs, big and small. I currently have my foster fail Enzo from the Greenville Humane Society so your little (or big) ones will have a friend to play with. I have a soft spot for pitties and chihuahuas. I used to share my world with two wonderful pitties (cannot wait to see them at Rainbow Bridge). I would walk them at least four miles every day or go hiking on weekends. Enzo is now two so we chase balls and play with toys on our land and will go hiking when we can. We like to paddle board and climb mountains! I have been the designated furbaby sitter for all family pets. I love caring for animals and would love to interact with your little or big ones. It’s a doggie world and I’m living in it and loving every moment. I am currently a Greenville Tech nursing student. I am free on weekends and like to do outdoor activities if the weather is cool enough. Pet sitting is a part-time job I love. In my clients home, I will make sure all rules are followed. I will walk their baby on a leash and try to avoid over stimulating scenarios. I will provide their baby enough exercise so they are nice and tired.
“I hired Helen to watch after our two dogs during a transition period. Her flexibility allowed for three 60min visits which included dog walks each week. Helen was always on time and sent super detailed Rover updates. Both dogs loved her visits. I would definitely recommend Helen for any dog needs you may have!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and there is nothing better than a tail wag and slobbery kisses! Currently mama to a spoiled rotten miniature Goldendoodle named Minnie who I worked with to potty train and even learn a few fun tricks too! I love all dogs, old and young, big and small, no dog is too much! I am a stay at home mom and wife with pretty much complete and open availability to come and check out your baby whenever needed. I would follow any and all instructions provided in regards to care for your baby. Leashes would be a must for any outdoor activity as the last thing we would need is a baby taking off!

About: I have been the neighborhood pet sitter for years. Neighbors trusted me with their senior dogs of 11 and 14, their dogs that had unending energy, puppies of around 1 or so, and cats and even fish too. I love going to the Greenville humane society and walking dogs of all kinds that have no home, and I have also worked on a couple farms taking care of dogs and cats and other farm animals as well. I am a hard worker and eager to take on new jobs. I work part time and am also involved in sports but I am flexible and willing to work with clients on times I can care for their pets as they need. I love spending time with dogs especially, so I’ll happily take time out of my day to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need. I do not offer in house services, as my house is not an adequate environment for other dogs, but I am more than willing to come to your house
“Danielle did an amazing job caring for our 3 cats. She communicated consistently and it was evident she actually cared about and enjoyed getting to know our cats. We are very thankful for her and would recommend her to anyone”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. We had a lot of animals growing up, including a dog, fish, hamsters, chicks, and a cat. I love animals and I love caring for them! I am mature, responsible, and very loving. I am flexible and available at the drop of a hat. I would love to provide pet care services for you, and will treat them like my own. I work fully remote and I am able to take your pets for frequent bathroom breaks, pay them love, cuddles, and attention! Pets make everything better! I give the pets lots of attention and cuddles! I make sure there are no small or dangerous objects within reach and ensure a nice, comfortable space for your pet to relax!
“Such an awesome first experience with Rover! Michelle was excellent. Great with communication and pupdates with pics! Would definitely use her again, she seems to really love animals and took great care of them!!”

About: As a proud cat mom to three spoiled kitties, I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind. That’s why my goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while you travel, knowing your pets are loved, happy, and well cared for. I’ve been providing pet and house sitting services since high school. One of my favorite experiences even took me all the way to Alaska, where I spent two weeks caring for three wonderful pets while their family was away. Building trust with both pets and their owners is something I genuinely value. I believe every animal has a unique personality, and getting to know each one is one of the best parts of the job. I also know that the little details matter, so I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Whether you’re looking for overnight house sitting or just drop-in visits, I’m committed to treating your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would give my own. While you’re away, you can count on regular updates, plenty of love for your furry family members, and the confidence that they’re in caring, capable hands. Right now I’m available Sunday through Saturday, as needed. I can do multiple check-ins throughout the day or I can spend the night. Whatever makes you and your fur babies the most comfortable. I will treat your pets and home with the same respect I treat mine. I also love to send photos of your pets for check-ins and I make sure all is well and good with your home.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Taylors
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kimry was absolutely the best, my cat is very shy and he warmed right. Loved the communication through out the drop ins, and overall how kind and professional. I will 100% request for any other pet sitting needs in the future.

Lauren was absolutely wonderful. I was very worried about one of my cats who had been sick recently. She not only updated me with information and pictures, but calmed my heart. I can tell how much both of my kitties loved her and all the attention she gave them.

Nicole was fantastic! She stopped by to check on our cats, and her communication and responsiveness were truly A+. She shared pictures and notes after every visit, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. I would absolutely book her again. Thank you Nicole for everything.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Taylors. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
