“Brittany was fantastic. This was the first time we ever used a pet sitter and so glad we picked Brittany . Our Callie is very skittish around new people but she took to Brittany right away. Brittany took the time to make sure Callie was okay even if she had to look for her because Callie likes to hide. Thank you Brittany you were great!!!!!”

“Kimberly took great care of our pets while we were away! She sent daily pictures, kept us updated, and left our home in great condition. I will absolutely use her services again in the future!”

“Lauren was absolutely wonderful. I was very worried about one of my cats who had been sick recently. She not only updated me with information and pictures, but calmed my heart. I can tell how much both of my kitties loved her and all the attention she gave them.”

“Kate was fantastic, My cats are not fans of new people and she won both of them over in just two days! She was very detail oriented and I felt great knowing she as caring for my boys. Thank you Kate!”

“Shawna was a blessing! We wanted to attend a family baby shower which was in SC. We live in Orlando. Shawna and I coordinated so she could sit at hotel with our 13 year old, diabetic, almost blind dog. She kept me updated, arrived right on time and took very good of our fur baby! I highly recommend Shawna!”

“Nicole was fantastic! She stopped by to check on our cats, and her communication and responsiveness were truly A+. She shared pictures and notes after every visit, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. I would absolutely book her again. Thank you Nicole for everything.”

“Heather was fantastic! She came for drop in visits with our cat (Teesha) while we were out of town. She sent wonderful updates, photos, and videos from each visit. We will definitely book with her again! 5 stars all around!”

“I hired Helen to watch after our two dogs during a transition period. Her flexibility allowed for three 60min visits which included dog walks each week. Helen was always on time and sent super detailed Rover updates. Both dogs loved her visits. I would definitely recommend Helen for any dog needs you may have!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Greer. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
