They paid close attention to her feeding schedule, walks, and daily habits, helping her feel comfortable and at home while we were away. Communication was also excellent. We received regular updates and photos, and they were always quick to respond to any questions or messages. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our dog and wanted to make sure she was happy and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely use them again!”
About: I really enjoy animals so much. I just do not meet a stranger when it comes to dogs and cats. Your home would be my home away from home. Im 54 years old with a 10 year old son. I enjoy teaching him about how wonderful each animal can be. I personally believe if you teach a child to love animals they will grow up to be wonderful people. I do not have a big home but it is ful of love. We treat all animals like they are part of our family. I can not wait to meet you and your family (pets).. “Raquel hosted my 16.5 year old Russian Blue cat named Jack for 2 weeks. She texted a brief, daily update in the morning and evening about eating, drinking, and medicine intake along with several pictures of lounging, playing, and even brushing! When Jack got home, he settled instantly back into his routine and usual social activity which tells me he was happy during the stay with Raquel. Jack stayed in a bedroom of his own with supplies and blankets we packed from home. Raquel assured me it was very quiet and calm in her house even if other pets are also staying with her, but in separated rooms and spaces. She played and cuddled with him daily (or tried to with a 16.5 year old cat). The supplies and blankets were cleaned and returned at the end of his stay. I will book Jack for future stays since everything went so well!”

Nicole was amazing! I know I have a high maintenance dog because of the breed, him not being neutered and trying to mark everywhere, and having a very anxious and very attached kind of personality. I left a very detailed and lengthy message for her prior to dropping my little man off about everything I could think of that might make the experience easier for both of them. And not only did she adhere to everything I asked her to do, but she exceeded well above my expectations of what my idea of a sitter should do and be! I also would like to mention that the day I was supposed to drop my pup off, we were dealing with a severe ice storm that had made the roads very treacherous and businesses close. It was a nightmare getting my rental car and my drop off times continued to change because of it. Nicole very easily could have canceled on me or told me to take a hike. Instead, she put my mind at ease and told me to just get there when I got there, and safely. She is super flexible and easy going and I could not ask for a better person to take care of what I consider as a family member! She updated my fiance and I often with pictures, and even introduced our little man to a dog park- something I was always nervous about doing because of his adhd and inability to stay focused very long on certain things. She also was very flexible with my pickup time as I was driving back from a 10-hour trip and was unsure of my arrival time. I look forward to booking future stays with Nicole! Y'all are crazy if you book anybody else!
This was our second time booking with Shekinah and again amazing care of our girl! We had a trip come up with very short notice on our end and we were lucky enough she was available! Thank you again for taking care of Chai, it is great to see her comfortable with a second family!
