About: I have cared for many dogs throughout childhood into adulthood. I decided to start offering my services as our golden retriever passed away almost a year ago. This reminded me of how much joy and comfort dogs bring into our lives and how important it is to make sure they feel that same love and care in return! I work M-F 8am to 5pm but my Friday night, Saturday and Sundays are open to dog sitting! I love going on neighborhood walks and hikes and would love for your dog to join me. I have a fenced in back yard and do not have any other pets, so your pup can run around and sniff in the yard as much as they want.
“Lindsay was so great in ensuring that we were kept up to date on all activities throughout our dog’s stay. She took photos, sent videos, and daily updates that put our minds at ease. Our dog Cilantro had a great time and I would definitely recommend Lindsay to anyone who ever needs dog boarding services!”

“Amanda watched all three of our furry babies. She was amazing! She sent regular pictures so we could see they were safe and happy. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would not hesitate to leave our pets with her on our next trip!”

“Emily and her family took great care of my special girl Cali - she was happy and healthy when I picked her up, communication and pictures during her stay plentiful, and I knew that she was being well-loved by the whole family. Definitely will stay with Emily again!”

About: I’ve always been a huge dog lover and grew up with family dogs! Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’, neighbors’, and clients’ pups, including walks, feeding, playtime, overnight stays, baths, and administering medication. I have a pup of my own too, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog. I’ll make sure they get lots of love, attention, walks, and cuddles while you’re away! I work full time remote job, and am more than happy to swing by before, during or after work to help out when it’s needed! I do have my own dog who is super friendly and loves to play! She is a beagle mix, so she loves her sniff walks and going to the neighborhood dog park to get her zoomies out.

“Ben was a wonderful dog sitter! My dog is pretty shy around new people and he was very accommodating and made my dog feel safe and comfortable. Ben sent me cute pictures of my dog having a good time during the stay.”

About: I love to work with dogs, train dogs, exercise with dogs and just plain love on them! Spending time with animals is so important. I live one mile from a dog park and take my own dog there regularly. She loves going for rides. Bailey is my 5 year old beagle. She will be 6 years old September 27. Bailey loves having friends over to our home. She is very playful with dogs of all sizes. We have plenty of treats and toys available and we love to cuddle! I'm a teacher but I am home a good bit. Spring break and summer break would be an excellent time for me to watch your pet! However during the school year I am still available to help you! Early morning before 7am, late afternoons and evenings can be given for any help needed with feeding or letting out. Weekends are even better and more visits would be available. Fenced in backyard and very safe home for all pets. Bailey gets along with all animals and people of all ages. Your pet will be very safe!

“Garrett was amazing with my two dogs! We needed a sitter at the last minute and he was very flexible with us allowing us to schedule a quick meet and greet before the booking. It’s worth mentioning that one of my dogs can be a handful at times but Garrett was so patient with him. The communication was frequent all week long (including sending pictures). My dogs got along well with his sweet dog as well. We definitely hope to use his services again!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and we were so lucky to have found Amber! She was so easy to communicate with, she sent frequent updates, and worked with us on pick-up drop-off times (we booked with Rover before our travel plans were concrete). Georgie must have played all week, he slept the whole day while we were able to unpack. We HIGHLY recommend Amber! She was fantastic with our Georgie and we will definitely use her again.”

“Lindsay is amazing!! She took very good care of my fur baby while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. He has separation anxiety and I was worried, but he did great with her. She updated me with text and pictures the entire time. I highly recommended.”

“Courtney was amazing!! She helped keep my anxiety very low. She took great care of our sweet boy Ethan. Love the updates and videos she sent throughout his stay..Will definitely be rebooking!!”

“Top tier stay! This was our first time EVER having to drop our Kenzie off and Megan made us feel so comfortable! I checked in constantly and she never made me feel like a bother! She loved on our fur baby just how she is loved on here at home! Megan will definitely be our forever go to person whenever we are in need! We appreciate you so much!”

“Manuela did a great job watching my dog. She was communicative and went above and beyond in caring for him. I would definitely choose her to watch my dog again in the future.”

“April was very accommodating and responsive to my needs. She sent multiple pics throughout the day (which were very adorable). My dog had a fun and safe place to stay while I visited relatives for the day.”

“We very rarely board our little guy, Rocky, but we're so glad we found Ashtan to take care of him! After our initial meet and greet, we immediately booked Rocky for a second 3 day stay. We could tell she took good care of him and gave him plenty of TLC. She sent pictures and status updates even though we didn't (initially) ask her to. I really doubt you could find a more responsible and friendly sitter in Greenville county.”

We had a great experience with Ed and will definitely use him again! He was wonderful with our dog and sent tons of updates throughout the day, including pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent, and it was clear she got plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime. She looked so happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. He was able to watch my dog at the very last minute and was so accommodating, reliable, and easy to work with. I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands and well cared for. I’m so grateful he was able to help us out on such short notice. I would definitely recommend him and will absolutely use him again.

Kelly took such great care of my dog. My dog has a lot of allergies and requires special food and treats and supplements and she was very accommodating to those. She also sent updates and videos while I was away which put me at ease knowing how well my dog was being cared for. Kelly was able very flexible and allowed me to pick up my pet late due to delays which I was grateful for.

Wendy took great care of Ellie! She communicated throughout the stay, was flexible with scheduling, and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. It was clear that Ellie was well loved and well cared for while she was with Wendy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
