“Kelly was great with Roxy! We had just rescued her, so she wasn’t very trained but had a lot of energy at 10 weeks. Kelly frequently sent me photos and videos of Roxy playing with her kids, learning “sit”, etc. In addition, Roxy was finishing up a couple rounds of medicine which Kelly administered for us. I will definitely be reaching out to Kelly again if we need a sitter!”

“Cristina is the best sitter. She genuinely cares about Bentley as if he was hers. She spoils him and he loves it. I don't have to worry about his wellbeing after I drop him off. Thank you Cristina.”

“No words can express the gratitude I have for these two! I was extremely nervous to leave my dog Tucker as he is a dog with high anxiety. But only after an hour or two I was getting picture updates reassurance and peace of mind. Tucker had such an amazing time. He didn’t wanna come home lol”

“Nikki and Dave are wonderful and we feel good about leaving Ginger with them, and Ginger seems right at home there. Definitely keep using them for our sweet Ginger!”
“Julie and her family are a perfect fit for my cat. He immediately went to exploring his area. Julie was always in contact and sent the best pictures. It shows she truly loves fur babies. Scar was so happy there. He loved his stay. I will absolutely use Julie again.”

“Kelly is fantastic! Our dog Elle gets nervous around new people but warmed up to Kelly almost immediately. While we were away, she sent us pictures and detailed updates which were very appreciated!”

“Laura is the best!! She loved our puppy as much as we do. Laura was kind, kept up updated on Remy and sent us updates and photos every few days. She was also very communicative which made us feel safe. Lovely experience and we will for sure be using her services again soon!”

“Brianna was an excellent sitter! She was very communicative, giving me updates on our sweet Willow with pictures and videos while we were away. She followed instructions to a T & took the best care of our puppy. I would definitely book her again!”

“We were very pleased with the appearance of Rusty and the home. Batman was comfortable from the very beginning. The pick up and drop off was easy and quick. We will use him again.”

“Dorothy and her family took wonderful care of our 2 dogs while we traveled out of state. We received frequent updates and they returned home tired and happy. Highly recommend!”

“Lindsey was the best dog sitter we could have found and we are more than happy with her service! Our 2 dogs were there for one week and she took great care of them while sending comprehensive updates every day. I loved all the cute pictures she took and I felt she was very reliable and professional and has lots of experience with different dogs. She handled the issues with our senior dog very well. I would book her again!”

“I had an amazing experience with Jonathan! I own a three-year-old, 125-pound Cane Corso named Chevi who I mistakenly thought was dog aggressive. However, Jonathan quickly assessed that she was just leash reactive like most dogs. Within 30 minutes of dropping her off, he had Chevi getting along well with other dogs and even sent me a video of her happily interacting. Jonathan truly went above and beyond to understand my big girl. I cannot believe I didn't find him sooner! It was the best experience I've ever had leaving my dog in someone else's care. We will definitely be back regularly! I give Jonathan a 10/10!”
“We were so happy to have Jessica take care of our little dog. She is so sweet and gentle with her. Winnie took to her immediately. It was a long stay of eight nights and Jessica made us feel confident that Winnie was being well taken care of. We appreciated everything she did for Winnie and wouldn't hesitate to rebook with her again in the future.”

“Took great care of my huskies for a long 10 day trip and I will definitely be booking again! I felt at ease knowing they were having a blast and safe through Matthew & Heidi’s updates. Thank you!”

“We had a wonderful experience boarding our golden with Fabienne! She is such a sweet individual and obviously has a passion and love for animals. She updated us often with pictures and videos to see how he was doing. He had so much fun! We will definitely book with Fabienne again!”

“Thank you so much for taking excellent care of my babies. I was very nervous but the sitters calmed by worries. We will definitely use again when we go out of town.”

About: New to rover, but not new to sitting! I’ve cared for animals my whole life, including many years with my own cat through every stage, into her senior years. We've helped care for dogs for friends and family, focusing on fun and comfort, and are hoping to care for others! Though not current pet owners ourselves, we enjoy having animals in the home and aim to provide a safe and loving environment for every fur-baby we care for. Being home throughout most days of the week allows pet care to fit very naturally into our daily routine. Pets receive regular potty breaks, consistent feeding, playtime, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. We have a family home environment, therefore we only accept pets who are comfortable around children. A structured routine works especially well for pets who thrive on consistency, and we only take one pet at a time which allows for focused attention and care. In our home, your fur-baby will be cared for in a structured, family oriented setting where they can feel safe and settled. We aim to follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. A large fenced yard provides plenty of space for supervised roaming, play, and outdoor time throughout the day. For safety, we ask that pets be up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick prevention before boarding or daycare stays. For drop in visits, the focus is on helping pets stay relaxed and cared for in their own familiar space. Each visit includes attention, fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks or playtime, and close attention to behavior and overall well being.

“Manuela has definitely been one of the best sitters I’ve hired so far through Rover. She’s communicative, caring, and extremely attentive when it came to my two dogs. I am extremely fortunate to have found her last minute as another Rover sitter cancelled shortly before I needed to leave on a trip. Manuela has also been very flexible with our schedule and has only been accommodating when it came to pickup and drop off times. I highly recommend going with her for your pet care needs. You can tell she loves caring for other animals and is well experienced!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
