“Melanie made our first Rover experience great! She sent many photos and updates which made us feel so much better about leaving our dogs for the first time. We are confident they were very well taken care of. We would gladly book her again!!”

“George fell in love with Sara. She came to meet and great a couple times for us to get to know her and for George to get to know her as well. We got up dates and pictures a couple times a day as to how George was adjusting as he has never been left alone before. To have him in his own environment with all "his" things to keep him company was great! WE left instructions for Sara as to what when and where he ate, his likes and dislikes, his likes and what not! He was such a happy boy when we got home. All thanks to Sara treating him like her own. She stayed at our home to keep him company as well which, probably made George feel much safer. Came home to a clean house, she treated it like it was her own! Very much appreciated! Thank you so much Sara! We couldn't have accomplished our trip without you!”

“Jenna went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were happy and taken care of while we were away! She's great at communicating and sent plenty of pictures to keep us updated! We absolutely loved having her watch our fur babies, and would 100% rebook with her for future travels!! Thank you Jenna!!!!”

“Justin was great! He watched our two boys on back to back weekends. He was a great communicator and kept us updated and threw in some cute pictures too! Seemed liked our boys were comfortable with him and as a pet parent that is all we could ask for!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters would be my ability. My special skills would be working with young and old dogs.I’ve have taken care of dogs with special needs. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs. With my current job I am very flexible for walking and pet sitting. So rather that be early or late in the day I am always up for walking or pet sitting I care for my pet in my home by making sure that they watered and feed. I give them love and the best care. I make sure that my clients pets are safe and well cared for. I also try to keep my clients pets in a similar walking routine similar to what they are used to doing with their owners.
“Meg, was great she watched over our blind dog Ginger for the 10 days we were out of town. She sent us pictures of Ginger every day and kept us updated on how she was doing. She went above and beyond what we asked for and couldn't be more happy that we had her to watch over our baby.”

“Lydia was great! Sent lots of pictures and updates. Was super easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend and will be using Lydia for any sitter needs in the future.”

“Mia is THE BEST of THE BEST!!!! I would give her a million stars if I could! She took the best care of my babies and you could tell they really loved her! I would recommend her to anybody and everybody! Thank you, Mia for taking care of my babies!”

“Shannon is great! We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs (one with high anxiety) with her. Both dogs are large and high energy. She has a calming presence and clearly is comfortable around dogs. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

“I just moved to South Carolina a month ago and had to be away a couple of days this past weekend. I was quite anxious having to find someone to stay in my home and take care of my sweet, Nala. She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Jerry was also very respective of my home and took good care of everything while I was gone. I highly recommend Jerry and am grateful I found him on Rover.”

About: I treat every pet like family because I know how much they mean to you. I have two sweet dogs of my own, so I truly understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I provide personalized, one-on-one attention tailored to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I have experience with puppies, including basic training and potty routines, as well as senior pets who may need extra patience, gentle care, or medication support. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy in their routine while giving you peace of mind through reliable communication and updates. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I recently earned my graduate degree and am currently focusing on my job search, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet sitting and walks throughout the day. As a dog owner of two sweet pups, I already have a consistent routine that includes walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. Adding additional pets into my routine is something I truly enjoy, and I’m able to give them the time, care, and companionship they need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while keeping their environment clean and safe. I respect your home as if it were my own and provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always feel connected and confident in your pet’s care.
“Mehlayne made herself available last minute to take care of our little Lupo. She was punctual, kind, respectful, and communicative while we were away. She followed all of our care instructions etc. etc. It is obvious that Lupo was restless while we were gone (because he’s passed out now) but Mehlayne said she tried very hard to make Lupo comfortable. We would certainly consider hiring her in the future.”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to house sit, check in, walk, and feed their furry friends. I will love your pet as if it were my own! Daily, I look after my own cat, Luna! She gets fed and watered first thing in the morning and receives a fresh water bowl a couple of times throughout the day! She gets to watch a live feed of birds and squirrels at least 3 times a week to keep her wild side alive! In my client’s home, I will ensure to gather their routine and temperament from the owner. With this, I will check in on your loved one at scheduled and non scheduled times to provide them the same love I would give to my own pet to create trust and develop a relationship with your animal!
“James did such a great job caring for our 3 dogs while we were out of town. We got plenty of communication with pictures and videos. He ensured that they had a great weekend and also took great care of our home while we were away. Thanks so much for everything!”
“Kim & Bill took great care of Sundance for me. I would certainly recommend them to other dog owners! Sundance made friends with their cat and had adventures in Mr. Bill’s truck! Great dog sitters”

“First time using Rover for pet sitting in our home. Julie was amazing to work with. She came over for a meet and greet and then once again just before we left. She sent daily pictures and updates and the house was clean upon our return. Will definitely use Julie again!”

Christine was so nice to come to my house last minute early in the morning when my boyfriend had to go to work suddenly and couldn’t watch my dog which my doodle while I was on vacation for my birthday. She was patient with him provided fast response. I’ll forever use her services

We have a very independent dog. She loves who she loves and hates who she hates. She instantly took to Jerry. We did a pre meet and greet and she instantly gave him belly’s and brought out her favorite toys. He sent me pictures daily and messaged any time a question came up. We have multiple trips planned this year and look forward to Jerry staying in our home and taking care of our girl in her happy place. Thank you Jerry!

I’m so happy we found Nancy !!! Our two rescues, Dash and Dottie seemed happy to see her even after meeting Nancy one time. She sent pictures to us during the day and was lying on the rug giving them love in their beds and we could tell they both were comfortable staying with her. It makes it possible for us to get away now, not just an hour or two, but a whole day feeling completely confident our fur babys are in good hands. Can’t thank Nancy enough for staying at our home with our two (kids) ❣️🥰🐶🐶
Mary did a great job caring for our dog for the weekend. Our dog appeared to be very comfortable under her care. She was punctual and followed our directions thoroughly. Mary is also very responsive during her stay and let us know how our dog was doing on a daily basis. Thank you Mary!

We really appreciated Grace house sitting for us. She took great care of everyone, gave us regular updates, and took care of some additional things for our house as well. We would definitely love the opportunity to work with her again, and would highly recommend her services for house sitting. Thank you Grace!

Denise was INCREDIBLE. Having just moved to the area, we were nervous about leaving our pets behind for a week. When another person from Rover cancelled on us last minute, Denise saved the day. She was so quick to respond! My dog typically takes a bit to warm up to new people, but IMMEDIATELY took to Denise when she came over for the meet and greet, which I’ve never seen her do. She even sent us pictures and videos throughout the week! We couldn’t have been happier with how Denise took care of our pets, can’t recommend her enough!!!

Ellie is absolutely incredible! She took the best care of our little boy. She was so gentle with him, and it was clear that he was at ease with her. He is a very picky eater, and she went above and beyond to make sure he ate. We loved getting pictures and updates about his day. Our house was definitely cleaner than when we left and our little Arfur was brushed beautifully. It’s hard to find a person you trust to watch your baby, and I’m so grateful we found the amazing Ellie. We will feel very comfortable going away more knowing we have an incredible sitter!
