She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. About: I’ve been the primary care taker for family dogs since the age of 7. I focus on proper nutrition and activity, supplemented by extraordinary love and affection for all animals; though dogs tend to get a little more :) Flexible work hours allow me to care for your dogs at odd hours of the day, and can often make special trips if need be. Set schedules are ideal, but flexible caring is not out of the question! I work from home during the weekends and would be able to provide care during those times as well. I have a rather large fenced in yard, with access to water and air conditioning (via doggy door). I have a roommate who is the proud owner of an English Creme Golden and is able to provide extra TLC should your dog need it! She stayed in my house to care for my two beagles (one of whom is a very high energy, somewhat naughty teenager), and honestly I don’t think I can ever leave them with another sitter. She was so patient with my not-yet-fully-trained dog, and so communicative with me about everything that was going on with them. I have so many like fashion shots of the dogs that she took (seriously, they never look so cute in the pics I take), and I also have a sneaking suspicion she cleaned my house before leaving as there was no dog hair to be found under the furniture and in the corners when I got home.
