“Morgan was attentive to both of our dogs' needs and responsive to our requests. Being from out of town, we relied on her profile and reviews- Both of which were accuratr!”

“Daniela was amazing to have stay in our home and care for our 4 fur-babies while we were away. She was attentive, communicative, and demonstrated great compassion for our animals. I would absolutely recommend Daniela for your pet/house-sitting needs!”

“Sally was amazing! I’ve never left my fur baby in the care of someone I didn’t know, but after the first meet and greet I felt so at ease and was ready to give it a try by starting off with an overnight stay. Sally was very communicative and shared so many pictures where you could see that Addie was so happy and enjoying her time with her new friend. This opportunity has become life changing and I’m ready to rebook. You can trust Sally and know your pet will truly be cared for.”

“Our second time booking with Chris and we will continue to book with him! He’s so attentive and thoughtful when it comes to watching the fur babies! There are no worries when Chris is around!”

“The meet between Michelle &jade was great from the start! I felt safe &comfortable leaving her in my home for 5 days. I received photos and updates everyday. She took her for walks and gave jade lots of love ( I can tell from the pics). I also returned home to a clean house. Thank u soo much! Your the best”
“Athena did an incredible job with an elderly dog that has a few quirks, separation anxiety, and back issues. We would use her again without any hesitation. Her communication was frequent and detailed and we could tell Judy was left in the best of hands.”

“Brittany was very communicative and easy to get in touch with. She stuck to my dogs schedule for outside and dinner time routine and made sure he was as getting enough loves and treats! Definitely book with her if you’re looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond! Will be using her for future trips.”

About: At the height of my career, I have taken care of four rescue dogs all at once for an entire week straight! None of the dogs fought and they all felt comfortable around me. I am available to let dogs out all day and provide them with belly rubs and entertainment. I am currently unemployed and would like to take this up full time if possible. I have a cat at home, but he’s low maintenance and I am able to juggle that with dog-sitting. I can comfortably allow a cat and a small or medium dog into my apartment if they would prefer boarding. I am good to travel to sit more so, because I do not have a yard. But I do live in a dog-friendly complex.
“Mehlayne did a wonderful job of caring for our sweet old Roxy. Our pup is 16 years old, has medical needs such as breathing treatments and medication administration and she even took Roxy to the Vet 4 times for routine fluid administration. While we are away for our 13 day vacation to Alaska, she sent daily pictures of our sweet little girl and messages regarding her day. Considering that Roxy had never been apart from us for more than 3 days, we were very pleased when we returned and she was in excellent health and eating very well, which could be a challenge at times. I could tell from the beginning that they were a good fit, especially since Melanie has a very elderly dog herself. We will be happy to book her again if needed and recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone to care for their pup.”

“Katherine is very sweet & kindhearted. Her quiet demeanor was exactly what our anxious dog (and wild puppy) needed. We needed a sitter last-minute & I’m so thankful Katherine made herself available.”

“Outstanding Lisa I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lisa ! My dog became sick before I have to travel out of state as while I was away, and she handled the situation with such care, patience, and compassion. She kept a close eye on my dog, communicated with me promptly, and made sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire experience. Knowing that someone was there who genuinely cared about my dog and treated them like their own gave me tremendous peace of mind. Their responsibility, kindness, and calmness during a stressful situation meant so much to me. I highly recommend this pet sitter to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable. I would absolutely use her again! Thank you so much Lisa you are amazing!!”

“Jerry is an excellent dog sitter and in my own house. I couldn't have picked a better person for Roux. I received pictures of Roux everyday and she looked so happy. I would like to send Jerry a hardy Thank you”

“I felt reassured going out of town leaving the dogs in Steffanie’s care. She checked in with me regularly, took great care of the dogs, and sent photos of them out and about each day.”

“Anna was incredibly responsive, punctual, and easy to work with… and that was before she even took care of our dog and house for us! She made sure our Rumble was safe and happy all while keeping our home in great shape. She even washed the sheets and towels that she used during her stay without being asked! Is there any way I can give 6 stars?”

“Second time having Anna take care of our 3 dogs and she was wonderful. She house sat for 5 days and as before communicates very well with photos and videos. She administered medication as instructed. Our house was spotless and mail checked, packages received sheets washed. She is a gem!!”

“Alexa was so amazing with my cat Yogi and dog Mochi. I got daily updates and cute pics. Mochi became instant friends with Boone and looked very happy in their care. I would recommend Alexa to anyone.”

“Carissa did a great job house and pet sitting. My dog and cat are very well behaved but also very attached to me and can struggle with anxiety when I’m away. Carissa obviously took great care of them, evidenced with a daily photo/video update while I was away, and they were calm and happy when I arrived home. Would definitely book with Carissa again!”

Anna went above and beyond to provide excellent care for our dog and two cats! She is very communicative, kind, professional and so attentive to details. She provided frequent updates/pictures each day. Our pets were comfortable with her right away and we came home to a clean house and happy fur babies!

We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter than Alexis! She took wonderful care of our three dogs and kept our house in great shape while we were away. She was extremely responsive, sent lots of cute photos, and our pups were so happy with her. Highly recommend booking with Alexis!

Chloe was an incredible sitter!!! She was super communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. It was our first time with the overnight house sitting and Chloe exceeded all expectations! Oscar and Ramona loved spending time with her and we will definitely be using her services in the future.

I cannot say enough about Dylan and Nicholas! They did such an amazing job with Waylon. Dylan was so responsive, sent pictures and updates, and left our home so clean. Waylon loved his time with them and we never had to worry! We ended up having a family emergency while we were gone on our trip and they even agreed last minute to watch my Mom’s dog during a few of the days as well. We are so thankful to have found them and will definitely be booking again in the future! 💛

Kylie was wonderful. She took great care of our dog Gunnar and our home -- helping him out with some last-minute medications (and deliveries to our home). Communication was great. I received a daily update with great pictures. I would definitely use Kylie again.

Marco is the best sitter that we've ever had for Begonia. He was very professional and sweet with our little girl. He kept sending us pictures, videos and updates. We loved her interacting with his little boy. They were so cute together! Marco also stayed longer than any other sitter and left our house super clean. I would definitely recommend him. He's fantastic!

Tracie is amazing!! She stayed in my house to care for my two beagles (one of whom is a very high energy, somewhat naughty teenager), and honestly I don’t think I can ever leave them with another sitter. She was so patient with my not-yet-fully-trained dog, and so communicative with me about everything that was going on with them. I have so many like fashion shots of the dogs that she took (seriously, they never look so cute in the pics I take), and I also have a sneaking suspicion she cleaned my house before leaving as there was no dog hair to be found under the furniture and in the corners when I got home. She is truly the best!!

Michelle was an amazing house sitter for our two cats. She sent us constant updates, and really got to know them and their personalities. We could tell how much she enjoyed them, and how comfortable they were in her care. The house was in perfect shape when we came back, and she even generously agreed to help keep our outdoor plants alive through a heat wave. She was very communicative about her schedule, and made sure the girls and their routines were a priority. It was a huge relief to have her at the house with them while we were gone. Highly recommend!

Mehlayne did a wonderful job of caring for our sweet old Roxy. We will be happy to book her again if needed and recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone to care for their pup.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Timberlake walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Timberlake maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Timberlake choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
