She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Grace was such a great choice for my dogs. I was concerned because I have dogs who have only been watched by others on a few occasions. One in particular is VERY protective, and she will bark at people in our home (if we are there) for a LONG drawn out time before she somewhat settles. If I was a "sitter", I would probably move on. Grace was here for over 45 minutes on the consultation to make sure "Lily" would adjust to her, and we were all comfortable when she left. She went above and beyond during the stay. I gave her freedom to step away for periods in the morning and afternoon, but she stayed glued in our home. Grace is highly recommended!
