I live with my boyfriend, and while I’m the primary caregiver during the day, he also helps out with the dogs in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We both love spending time with animals, and your pup will receive plenty of attention, love, and care from the two of us throughout their stay. Inside, I love incorporating little training moments during the day to encourage good behavior—like practicing “sit,” “wait,” or calm greetings. It keeps their minds engaged and helps create a positive, structured environment. If your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable having their own space, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I can provide crate time for rest, routine, or safety—whatever works best for your pup’s needs. “We did our meet and greet last week with Jaylin and Charles and they were so kind and compassionate. Our sweet Oakley is a 6 month old rescue and super scared of people, noises and dogs. They made us feel so welcome. Today we took him back for his first daycare and she sent pictures of Charles hold him and him with another dog! I (Roman) grew up in a village and have always had dogs—usually at least three. The last time before I left my parents’ house, I was taking care of four dogs (one mixed-breed and three Labradors). I also looked after friends’ and relatives’ dogs—mostly Corgis. One of them was almost completely blind and elderly, so I have experience caring for older dogs and know how to give insulin injections. About: I’ve had pets all my life. The last 15 years have been with my sweet foxhound, Lego and for 4 of those with my laid back Bombay cat, Ivy. I’m a recent empty nester looking to put extra time to good use by caring for others’ loved pets. I work full time from home, and have a doggie door to my back yard that my work space overlooks. I like to take breaks and walk myself, so having a companion during those breaks would be great! I have a large fenced in yard and easy access from my kitchen. I make my dog food from scratch because he has sensitive skin. We walk our dog daily and both pets get bathed regularly when needed, even the cat. 😉 I have a clean home with both of my pets that are inside pets. About: Growing up I had a dog named Toby and Kallie the cat! We’d be responsible for taking Toby on walks, feeding him, administering medication, and of course showing both of them major love and affection. My work schedule is very flexible so I’m able to adjust according to your pup’s needs. I work from home on occasion and would be happy to have some canine company in the house. I live in a pondside home in a safe suburban neighborhood. It’s a wooded area with all kinds of critters, much to explore! I’ll set up a bed with blankets in the sunroom for my doggie guests :)
