About: I’m Lydia, a lifelong dog mom who turned my passion for dogs into a full-time in-home daycare* service. We are fully registered and insured in the state of SC. What sets me apart is the way I form a bond with every dog in my care. All my clients describe our place as their dogs' second home. We see each animal in our care as family, so we carefully blend structure with fun so that each dog gets their unique needs met. Every pup gets exercise, enrichment, and engagement—never just a boring “kennel stay." I am especially passionate about helping working professionals with high-energy breeds meet their dogs' needs for exercise & enrichment. I have hands-on experience raising big breeds from puppyhood, re-socializing anxious rescues, and caring for senior dogs with medical special needs. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day with regular walks, snuggles, naps, and play sessions, and my regulars help reinforce the routine when new friends join us for a day or two. My 2 dogs are trained, neutered males with medium-high energy levels and high social skills. I am present throughout the day to supervise, play with the dogs, and help make sure everyone feels at home. Weekends are just as consistent—dogs get the same structure and care, but multiplied x2 since my dog-loving husband is home. (We can accommodate dogs who fear men.) I keep a clean, dog-friendly home with safety gates, dozens of toys, and 100% dog-friendly furniture. Dogs are never left alone for long stretches, and I tailor their play groups depending on the dogs' personalities, energy levels, and varying social skills + moods. While I don’t have an attached yard, we make up for it with frequent strolls over to the nearby dog park. In clients’ homes, I follow your established routines closely so your babies feel secure and cared for in their own space.

Our backyard is partially fenced and backs up to a private wooded area.

About: Growing up I had a dog named Toby and Kallie the cat! We’d be responsible for taking Toby on walks, feeding him, administering medication, and of course showing both of them major love and affection. My work schedule is very flexible so I’m able to adjust according to your pup’s needs. I work from home on occasion and would be happy to have some canine company in the house.
