I spent eight years working at Cleveland Park East Animal Hospital, where I managed large boarding groups and assisted with medications, surgeries, and specialized care. We are used to having pets at home! While we do not have a fence, we have a grassy front yard and a large backyard with trees, grass, and even a creek. Our neighborhood boast 17 acres of natural space that include walking trails and a 3 acre pond. Your pet would love getting to go on unleashed walks with us throughout the day to explore all of these areas. As for our home, considering we have pets ourselves, our home is very pet friendly. Our cat prefers to explore outside during the day, but she absolutely loves dogs. Having lived with one for most of her life. We have baby gates to prevent dogs from going to the upstairs portion of our house, which leaves the entire downstairs for play, roaming, and resting.

About: I had 3 different Lab Retrievers from pups to their senior years in my early teens to late 20s. I have a 2 yr old German Shepherd now. I work from home so he gets plenty of love and attention. As your dog stays with me they will get the same level of care as my 4 legged family members. We start everyday with his favorite fetch games to get some energy out. Once he calms down he gets breakfast, a short walk, then a long nap on one of his many beds around the house or a doormat. During each day he gets more fetch, structured play, and training, all followed by short naps. I have a small fenced in yard with plenty of fields for play and sidewalks to walk around my house. My dog's days are structured to keep him happy and healthy. I make sure his meals are scheduled so he isn't at risk for bloat (GDV).
