About: I am ready to provide your dog with the love, care, and attention they deserve. I am a low volume sitter usually only caring for one family at a time in my home. I have a 2 yr old dachshund who loves to play. I have a big fenced in back yard. I am a stay at home mom to two kids who are 6 and 11 so your dog must be good with kids. Caring for our furry guests is something the whole family takes part in. Rest assured that I offer a secure and cozy setting for your dog. While in my care, I will do my best to replicate what your dog is used to at home but I do not allow dogs to sleep in my bed as I wouldn’t be able to sleep myself.

Ace had a wonderful time with Maria and her family! She provided many photos and videos of Ace playing with her 2 dogs and I could tell from the videos that he loved playing in her backyard. They wend on two walks. She was easy to get in touch with and prompt in answering questions.

My dog, Buster, loves coming to play with Garrett and Garrett’s pup, Dax, for doggy day care! Even though Buster is older he still has a lot of energy, and he is the only dog in our home. Buster gets socialization and play time with Dax in Garrett’s fenced in backyard and comes home both happy and tired! Highly recommend Garrett (and Dax)!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a baby in Germany – they’ve always been my family and have taught me how much joy, love, and calm pets can bring. Now I’m spending a year in the U.S. and am excited to care for new furry friends. I truly believe that animals make the world a better place, and I often love them even more than people. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them love, attention, and care. As a trustworthy, reliable, and responsible pet sitter, my goal is to make sure your pets feel happy and safe while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and making their day special! Pet care is my main focus, and I dedicate my time fully to looking after furry friends. I have a flexible schedule and can adjust to different routines, whether it’s daily walks, feeding times, play sessions, or cuddles. Caring for pets is not just a task for me—it’s a joyful part of my day, and I make sure each animal gets the attention, love, and exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. I care for pets with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. In my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and playful environment where pets feel relaxed and happy. At clients’ homes, I follow their routines closely, making sure pets are fed, walked, and cared for just as they are used to, giving them plenty of affection and reassurance while their owners are away.

About: I bring a rare mix of professional veterinary experience and full-time, in-home care to every pet I watch. I spent eight years working at Cleveland Park East Animal Hospital, where I managed large boarding groups and assisted with medications, surgeries, and specialized care. That background allows me to confidently care for pets who need medical attention or extra support. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home all day so pets are never left alone and receive constant care and companionship. They also become part of our family, enjoying gentle love and attention from my children. Your pet would truly be part of our family! I am blessed to be a stay at home mother, so I am available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your pet would have constant care and attention from myself. They would also get to enjoy playing around our yard and porch and soak up all the extra cuddles. We have an outdoor cat, and we previously had our loving dog who passed away. We are used to having pets at home! While we do not have a fence, we have a grassy front yard and a large backyard with trees, grass, and even a creek. Our neighborhood boast 17 acres of natural space that include walking trails and a 3 acre pond. Your pet would love getting to go on unleashed walks with us throughout the day to explore all of these areas. As for our home, considering we have pets ourselves, our home is very pet friendly. Our cat prefers to explore outside during the day, but she absolutely loves dogs. Having lived with one for most of her life. We have baby gates to prevent dogs from going to the upstairs portion of our house, which leaves the entire downstairs for play, roaming, and resting.

Lindsay took excellent care of our pup. She has a quiet, welcoming home with lots of indoor space as well as a backyard with a fence and lots of room to explore. She was attentive to our dogs needs regarding feeding and medication, and provided us with regular updates and plenty of pictures, making us feel at-ease with leaving our timid rescue pitty in her care for the afternoon.

About: I had 3 different Lab Retrievers from pups to their senior years in my early teens to late 20s. I have a 2 yr old German Shepherd now. I work from home so he gets plenty of love and attention. As your dog stays with me they will get the same level of care as my 4 legged family members. We start everyday with his favorite fetch games to get some energy out. Once he calms down he gets breakfast, a short walk, then a long nap on one of his many beds around the house or a doormat. During each day he gets more fetch, structured play, and training, all followed by short naps. I have a small fenced in yard with plenty of fields for play and sidewalks to walk around my house. My dog's days are structured to keep him happy and healthy. I make sure his meals are scheduled so he isn't at risk for bloat (GDV).

About: While growing up my house hold always had up to 5 pets. I am comfortable taking care of all pets. I now have 3 cats , 2 dogs, a turtle, a rabbit , and a fish . I have taken grooming and vet technician classes . I can offer to bath and groom dogs for a little extra charge. I live in a great neighborhood that is very dog friendly. It is a large safe neighborhood that has a lot of space to take walks. I also have a fenced in back yard. About: Hi! As a dog owner myself (and user of Rover.com), I understand the feeling of wanting to avoid boarding your dog while you're away. Although there are plenty of great dog boarding facilities, there's nothing like your four-legged friend being taken care of by someone you trust in their own home. I look forward to caring for your puppers just as I do my own! Although I didn't grow up with or have years of experience with dogs, I am 100% a dog lover. Big small, old young...I can't get enough! Growing up, my family always had cats, which was great. But the first chance I got when I moved out, I got a dog and never looked back. I adopted my Cocker Spaniel, Broney, in November 2013 and he has become my most favorite creature on this earth! I have dog sat before for my friends and have had no issues. I love to take my pup on walks through our neighborhood, to the park, play fetch, etc. We are definitely happy to just chill on the couch too. We're very flexible! I look forward to caring for your bestie just like I do mine. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask!

About: ***Please check my Rover calendar for availability before sending a request.*** DOGS MUST BE CRATE TRAINED FOR BEDTIME. Thank you for visiting my Rover Page! We are so excited to give your dog the love and affection they deserve while you are away! I haven't met a dog I didn't love. We are a dog loving family all around. We are a young family who will provide a "family experience" for your dog. They will come with us on our weekend adventures and cuddle next to us during family movie night. We have our own 2 very friendly dogs that will entertain and play with your dog as part of their doggy vacation:) My husband and I have owned dogs our whole lives and think of them as part of our family. Our love for furry friends has only grown being a part of the Rover community!!! Being a dog owner, I understand what it means to have to leave your dog when going on vacation or out of town. It's hard to find someone to trust that will love your dog as much as you do. I give our guest dog's the same love, affection and attention that I give my own dogs. I try to make them feel comfortable in their new environment so they miss you that much less. My goal is to make your dog feel like they are being loved and a part of our family. We live in a great area with a fenced in yard. If your dog likes to play fetch and get lots of exercise our house is the place to be! We are constantly playing with and keeping our doggy guests occupied. Please feel free to message me with any concerns or questions! ****Please make sure your dog is up to date with vaccines and flea/tick treatment before drop off. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CARE FOR ANY DOGS THAT ARE NOT WELL SOCIALIZED WITH OTHER DOGS. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY DOGS THAT EXHIBIT ANY SIGNS OF AGGRESSION TOWARDS OTHER DOGS OR PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN. I'm a stay at home mom and have a very flexible schedule to care for your fur babies! We take short term and long term boarding requests. I am home most of the day and have lots of time to play with and exercise all our doggie guests. I have a large fenced in yard that is secure for lots of outdoor running and playing. Our property borders the woods and a small creek for lots of exciting daytime walking adventures.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring pet lover who understands that pets are family. I provide attentive, personalized care so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with puppies to senior. I have worked with dogs that have had trauma in the past and special needs. My goal is simple, to make your pets feel happy, secure, and cared for like they’re part of my own family. If your pet loves attention, belly rubs, playtime, treats, or simply having someone nearby who truly cares we’ll get along great. I’m the kind of sitter who talks to pets like they’re people, notices the little things, and makes sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I know how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your furry family member, so I focus on reliability, communication, and creating a stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Expect lots of updates, adorable photos, and a pet who’s excited to see me again. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and building consistent routines around their care. I have a flexible schedule and make it a priority to provide your fur babies with the attention, exercise, companionship, and reliability they need to feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or simply giving them extra love and attention, I enjoy making pet care a meaningful part of my day. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for your fur babies both in my home and in my clients’ homes. In my home, they are treated like part of the family and receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I offer boarding in a home with a secure fenced in yard, which gives dogs a safe space for exercise, outdoor time, and play. I make it a priority to maintain each ones normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any special instructions from the owner. I also understand how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to help parents feel comfortable and connected while they are away. When caring for them in a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and focus on keeping your fur baby comfortable in their familiar environment while ensuring they receive dependable, attentive care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 505 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Bells Crossroads. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bells Crossroads commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 505 sitters in Bells Crossroads, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
