About: I have had pets and cared for friends and family members pets for most of my life. As a personal trainer, I have not only human clients but also many furry friends who I interact with daily and have started caring for when my clients are away. In addition, I have a senior, reactive dog who requires special attention, training and lots of love. I work as an in home personal trainer but can create my own schedule and adjust for last minute requests. Weekends are also generally open for pet sitting. I would not be able to offer care at my home since my senior dog is happier solo however, I am very comfortable providing all needed care and adherence to a routine in a client’s home.

About: I am the proud mom of Rose and Potato, two stunning stray cats. But before them I had my beautiful Luna, she was a cocker spaniel and in my first dog and the soul that made me a pet parent for the first time. There is not a day I don’t think about her. Besides the point, I am the designated pet sitter for all my friends. Looking forward to take care of your fur babies. I work from Home. Meanwhile i have good internet connection for me to do my work I can be anywhere within the US. I can also go and feed and walk your pet if needed during the day as well. Whatever is more convenient for you. I feel comfortable with pet cameras around me. I am in constant communication whether I am running late or something happened. About: I have a lifelong history of living with and caring for dogs, giving me a natural understanding of their needs, routines, and behavior. Friends and family have consistently trusted me to walk and look after their dogs, and I take that responsibility seriously — prioritizing safety, consistency, and attentiveness in every visit. Whether it’s a daily walk, playtime, or in-home care, I’m committed to providing reliable, high-quality service and treating every dog as if it were my own. I’m available every day after 11am, as I only work mornings. This gives me consistent, reliable availability for afternoon and evening walks, visits, or pet sitting throughout the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether we’re out on a walk or spending time in your home. On walks, I stay attentive to surroundings, keep a secure hold on the leash, and watch closely for other animals, traffic, or anything that could cause stress or harm. In your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care as I would my own — keeping doors secured, following any specific routines or instructions you provide, and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved the entire time. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big deal, and I aim to earn that trust through consistency, communication, and genuine care.

About: I've worked at a pet resort for 2 years, having my fair share of experience with young, old, and difficult dogs and cats! I currently work at an animal shelter helping dogs get adopted. I've been around cats and dogs my entire life, and have learned a lot about their behaviors and needs. I have two cats and a dog of my own currently. I work part time, unavailable for a majority of the day for Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Saturday's, but can come to check in and take care of pets before 8 AM and after 6 PM on those days. Other than that I am free every other day of the week! I have a dog friendly pup of my own and can offer play dates with him (who is neutered). And know a lot of dog friendly places to get pups out of the house and some exercise if needed! I love playing with pets or just cuddling and relaxing, whatever their heart desires! I also know that sometimes some fur babies need more time to warm up to new people than others and am perfectly fine giving them that time.

About: Ever since I can recall, I've had a deep passion for looking after animals. Growing up on a farm surrounded by cows, piglets, chickens, and ducks, caring for them became second nature to me. In addition, I fondly remember our beloved catahoula dogs who were a cherished part of my childhood. I have experience with giving insulin to animals, pills, and liquid medications. It's always a delight to extend love and care to someone else's furry companions, and I look forward to the opportunity to do so for your beloved pets. Currently, I work full time in finance remotely, which allows me to provide around-the-clock care for your pets. I have flexible breaks and lunch hours, providing ample opportunities to give your pets the attention and care they deserve. Let me know your pets needs! Where they like to sleep, their favorite toy. Any medications they may need or anything I need to know.

About: I’ve owned animals most of my life but recently started traveling full time and have been house/pet sitting around the US since October 2025. It’s been amazing getting to know and spend time with so many different pets along the way! I travel full time so wherever I’m at, my schedule can be very flexible to allow for the best routine for your pets! I am available for overnight sits, daytime care, walks, drop-ins and adventure walks. Since I travel full time, pet care will need to be done in the clients home. I have many references from others I’ve sat for stating that I’m respectful of your home, taking care of your belongings and your animals, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

Whether it's a walk in the park or some playtime, I’ll make sure your dog gets all the love and attention they deserve. Looking forward to meeting your pup and treating them like my own! I am currently a teacher, so I have availability all day now that summer break has started! Which means I can give the best, constant care to your animal! I will treat your pet like part of the family, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they're in my care. In my home, they’ll have plenty of space to roam and play, and I'll make sure they get regular walks, exercise, and lots of attention. We have a large fenced in backyard! I’ll follow any routines or special instructions you have, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and preferences for playtime or rest. About: Hi, I'm Maria. I've gotten dogs since my childhood and I love to interact with them. I have also taken care of other dogs of my relatives, neighbours or friends. If needed, I can speak with your dog in another language (Spanish, German and French) than English. If needed, I can train your dog (house training, basic commands, leash training...). Just send me a note with your request. I'm at home the whole day and go outside four times per day during the week. During the weekend, we often go for a long walk in a state park which is a great place to walk with the dogs. I'm available - for boarding on weekdays: after 9 a.m / on the weekend: flexible. - for walks from 7.45 a.m. I have a huge fenced backyard with an agility course where your dog can play and have fun with my two dogs and / or me. Usually the dogs sleep in our house but a kennel in the garden is provided, if needed / desired. Please tell me if your dog has a special need or something important I should take into account beforehand, for instance, how is his/her behaviour with other dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
