“Lynsie is awesome. She came to the house the day before she started to collect the keys, meet my dog and learn the routine. She and my dog got along right away. She shows up everyday on time with her two children which is great because my dog loves to be played with and socialize and her kids are able to play with my little one. Lynsie sends me pictures everyday of her walking the dog and her children playing with her. I am super happy and pleased and so is my little one!”

“Jessica has been a wonderful care taker for our golden retriever! She takes her on walks around the neighborhood and sends us great updates while we are at work so we know she is doing great!”

In the afternoon’s you will find me on a softball field so my morning/early afternoons are most flexible! Let me help make your day run just a little bit smoother! My pets get fresh water, food, & exercise throughout the day. I would love to give your animals the same kind of attention & love!
“Valissa is amazing with Gunner. She put this nervous dog mom at ease with my first trip overnight with Gunner not going and staying by himself. She kept in touch with pictures and texts. I highly recommend her.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around them and have years of hands-on experience caring for them, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also looked after animals for family, friends, and others, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind by providing dependable, attentive, and compassionate care every time. What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and dedication I have for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work a flexible schedule. Monday through Wednesday, I’m off work by 1:00 PM, and I work from home for the rest of the week, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling and plenty of attention throughout the day. My schedule gives me the ability to accommodate your pet’s routine! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I will care for your pet with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to ensure they receive the best possible care.
“Continued service, above and beyond. I was called out of state for a family funeral just prior to winter storm Fern, and Morgan accommodated to what was best for the comfort and safety of my dog, making one fewer thing for me to worry about on my trip.”

About: I am a retired teacher with a love for animals. I am comfortable with any size dog and am experienced in giving medicines and injections if needed. I have a very flexible schedule and would love to care for your fur babies. I am retired so my schedule is flexible. I don't mind making multiple visits within a day. I can follow whatever directions you give me. I treat guests like my own pets. In my house, they have free reign. Outside, we must be leashed unless inside the pool fence. If dogs like to swim, they can.
“We loved Sarah when we first met her, and we could tell she would be great with our Boykin. This was our first time using Rover, but we would use Sarah again. She sent pictures and spent entire time with him. She was great!!”

About: Hi, I'm 28 years old and I’ve been a dog owner for over 18 years. I’ve looked after all kinds of animals and currently a father to two dogs and a cat. I have experience with all different breeds, personalities and sizes. Your dog (pets) will be carefully supervised and I will be available to contact almost 24/7. I'm very calm but have lots of drive so I can handle active dogs as well as multiple at once. I've cared for other peoples animals before and wanted to get back into it because I enjoyed it so much. I look forward to meeting new people and dogs alike. I tend to my dogs and cat making sure they’re included in my daily routine. From feeding to walks to play and everything in between they’re part of life. I like to make sure my pets/client pets are comfortable and safe. Building a strong bond/relationship is important and I always prefer to think in the pets best interest.
About: I’ve always been a huge dog lover and grew up with family dogs! Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’, neighbors’, and clients’ pups, including walks, feeding, playtime, overnight stays, baths, and administering medication. I have a pup of my own too, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog. I’ll make sure they get lots of love, attention, walks, and cuddles while you’re away! I work full time remote job, and am more than happy to swing by before, during or after work to help out when it’s needed! I do have my own dog who is super friendly and loves to play! She is a beagle mix, so she loves her sniff walks and going to the neighborhood dog park to get her zoomies out.

About: I have always had a love for animals from a very young age. I started pet sitting in my neighborhood when I was 13 and did so until I was 16 when my family moved away. Since college, I have been on and off pet sitting for friends and coworkers. Since 2016 I have been working in the Veterinary field as a Vet Assistant/Vet Tech. I now have more experience and more confidence with animal behavior, in addition to being able to medicate pets. I offer 3 times a day visits for dogs and 2 times a day visits for cats. If your pet needs more than that, I will do my best to accommodate. Each visit will be filled with lots of play time and pets! I think that pet sitting with home visits is a great option for pets because they are left in the comfort of their own home instead of being stressed in a boarding facility. I will strive to keep your pets comfortable and happy! Due to the fact that I work full time, please be patient with response times. We often have surgeries on a daily basis and I’m unable to check my phone. I currently work full time, but am able to do drop-ins before and after work. As of right now, I am completely free on the weekends. I don’t care for pets in my home. I apologize. My work schedule and home environment do not allow for me to keep other animals in my home.
“Ginger and John Rambo love when Rachael comes to visit! She is very detailed and sends lots of pictures. I would recommend her to anyone in need of pet care services.”

About: Between my wife and I, we've had a variety of animals to care for. From horses, lizards, birds, cats, dogs and even the wildest of them all; children! In addition to that I have experience in caring for special needs and the elderly. So, we know the importance in making your special family members are well loved while you're away. Evening drop off/pick ups are much more preferred due to full time jobs and a child in grade school. We have pets of our own so pet care is just a part of daily life! We both work full time jobs, but our mother/in-law moved lives with us and can let them out during the day. In the evening we have a 5 year old daughter who loves pets and is an eager helper! The weekends we are homebodies but still love to go to parks and walks as a family. We have a large fenced in backyard, space for whichever pet requires a crate. Aside from the occasional 5 year old meltdown, we have a relatively quiet home, good for your pets that prefer the quiet.
About: I am passionate for dogs, I find there loyalty and love that they give to us is amazing! I love children but never had any, so therefore doggies have always been my babies. I first got my first two chihuahuas about 28 years ago and haven’t been without a furry angel. I would't have any other way-doggies are smart and just amazingly fun. Certainly, they deserve the best possible love and care one can provide, and I love to care and give. That in itself, makes me joyful! I’m a self employed fine artist, so I’m fairly flexible. Other than the gym, appointments, etc, - normal errands. That is pretty much the current extent of my schedule. I travel from time to time, but not regularly.so I am at home a lot. I have a small harmless chihuahua ,”Lilly “, so it’s just her and me. I always am well aware of where the doggies are, inside and outside. They always have water and food if necessary, according to the client’s wishes. That, is primary for me, making certain I am abiding by the client’s needs and requests, while simply using common sense. I’m good at finding a resolution to any situation, if there was one, and being prepared ahead of time. Even just for the simple things. I am an Airforce veteran and just love doing good things for others. For I know, for my Lilly, I make sure if she can’t travel with me, she goes to a “pet resort” or I also use Rover. I have a decent size yard with room to play and I don’t mind if they want to lay on the couch or bed, however they feel comfortable and happy. I also know that doggies can get emotional when their parents drop them off. Lilly gets all kinds of emotions when I have to leave her. These precious 4-leggers are smart too!
About: I’ve taken care of various types of dogs. My mom always had fosters in our home, and she was also a vet tech. She taught me how to help care for puppies in training, senior dogs, and even disabled dogs that needed extra care! I have a flexible schedule, I am an online college student with a part-time job (I work 3-4 hours M-F). I can work around you and your schedule, so there’s less stress on you! I know how to handle all kinds of dogs, and I know how to do it in the safest way for your pup. I know how to walk, feed, clean, give medicine, etc.
“She is always on time and is wonderful with Charlie. When he hears her car pull up he stands at the door waiting for her to come in. We all love her and will call her when we need help again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Conestee
Lee did fantastic on his first walk with our two senior dogs Xena and Bailee. I'm surprised they even went with him as they are very suspicious of anything out of the norm so that was amazing. Lee showed up exactly on time and was very pleasant. The dogs love him. Will definitely use him again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
