About: My love of dogs came when I was four years old. It took me only five years to convince my father that I could handle a dog and that was the beginning. I currently now have two cats, and foster kittens. As we don’t have a yard, I don’t have the availability to have my own dog so I want to help others with all of their animals. I joined Rover.com because I enjoy walking and playing with dogs on a regular basis. My professional experience includes volunteering for multiple shelters where I helped with walking, enrichment, feeding and medicating. I am comfortable with specialty diets and sick animals, as well as administering medications, including IV's. I truly love all animals and I am so excited to make this passion a career. I am available Monday through Friday, all day, from first thing in the morning through evening. I can help with weekly dog walking, drop ins for dogs or cats, playtime, or feedings. I believe that the clients schedule and routine is the most important for the animals and I will file that. I always let my clients know when I have arrived and when I’m leaving and at least one picture to let them know that their pets are taken very well care of.

About: I’ve owned big and small dogs! From a pit bull to a terrier. Took care of my susy girl for 10 years, she was diabetic so i am experienced with medication and injections. I am a student and work full time in the afternoons but I am free every Thursday and Fridays! and Sunday to Wednesday from 11-2pm. I can drop by or dog sit. I have one small friendly terrier who lives inside and is welcoming to all pets. 4 friendly cats. Fenced yard! Furniture friendly to all fur babies

About: I grew up on a small farm, so have been taking care of animals essentially since birth. I have had anything from dogs and cats, to horses and chickens. All dogs and cats have been inside animals, with a good many of them being rescued or fostered. I am currently a self employed stay at home ceramic artist. I have two loving and spoiled miniature schnauzers, who are 5 and 6 years old. They spend every waking moment with me, even having their own space while I work. I have two friendly and non reactive miniature schnauzers. Dog safe, fenced in yard with security cameras in every corner. Daily walks around West Village, when the pavement temperature allows. I am home 99% of the time, but dogs are crated when I need to run errands, both for their safety and peace of mind.
About: I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for 2 years. I currently adopt a dog for the day with my local shelter. I love spending time with animals! I am available in the evenings Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and the weekend I have more flexibility with my schedule. As long as you communicate with me a day in advance I can make any time work usually. I have experience with leash walking big dogs that pull. While I worked at the doggy day care I crated, fed, and walked multiple dogs. I am willing to do long walks for more energetic pups or play in backyards!
About: I grew up with animals (cats and dogs) and have rescued my animals i have now (Cece 10yo and Jojo <1yo). I watch my sister’s and friends’ pups when they’re out of town, give them the care and love they need and play with them outside. I’m currently taking time off work and am focusing on self care and helping my husband with his business, so I’m very flexible. I go to a few classes at my gym and yoga studio throughout the week but I can easily work around that! We have a fenced in yard and always keep eyes on her or go outside with her. We have a routines of breakfast (Cece and Joe getting their first serving for the day), snack time (Cece getting a treat and Joe getting more food) and dinner (Cece and Joe getting last serving). Cece and Jojo both have meds that go along with their food times. They get plenty of love and play time throughout the day.
About: I’ve been the primary care taker for family dogs since the age of 7. I focus on proper nutrition and activity, supplemented by extraordinary love and affection for all animals; though dogs tend to get a little more :) Flexible work hours allow me to care for your dogs at odd hours of the day, and can often make special trips if need be. Set schedules are ideal, but flexible caring is not out of the question! I work from home during the weekends and would be able to provide care during those times as well. I have a rather large fenced in yard, with access to water and air conditioning (via doggy door). I have a roommate who is the proud owner of an English Creme Golden and is able to provide extra TLC should your dog need it! We have two dogs in the home, a lab mix and English Creme Golden, both are submissive and quiet, with a love for the outdoors and lots of naps.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10, when I lived with my parents we had five dogs. I would feed them, play with them and take them to the bathroom every 2 hours. I love animals they always brighten my day even if I'm down. About: Hello! I’m a rather large fellow able to handle and care for dogs otherwise intimidating or strong. But, the apple of my eye in my home is a chihuahua-jack Russell mix that I just adore, so I’m good for all your pet needs! I found my passion for animal care freshman year of college when doing volunteer work at a Seneca animal shelter. The vet and I still keep in touch to this day. I’ve adopted my fair share of dogs and cats, most being large breed and Siamese. Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, and Labrador Retrievers. My regular pet sitter was out for several weeks, and I needed to find a temporary sitter— Chaniel was awesome! My black lab (older a quite stubborn!) did great on daily walks with Chaniel. She is great at communication and always kept me updated with pictures. Will definitely ask her to care for Charlie next time the need arises!
Alyssa was a wonderful Dog Walker for our very active dog, Ginger. She was attentive to details and was great with knowing what to do after asking a few questions. She took the time to warm up to her and a great job with taking pictures and letting us know how the walk went. We’ll definitely be using Alyssa again!

Ana came to visit the day before to meet and took the time to understand what was needed to walk Max & Mazy. She took extra time to chat and we could tell she obviously loves animals and is trustworthy. Mazy is a new member of the family and was just adopted, so full of energy. She gave feedback on a couple of small issues as Mazy managed to escape her kennel after we left and had caused a little havoc. All went as smooth as possible, given a little craziness.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
