Availability
I am currently doing research in my 4th year of medical school, which means I stay at home. I don't have to work every day, so it's perfect if I have dogs that need extra attention, and it leaves plenty of time for long walks and frequent potty breaks!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back yard with a 3-year-old dalmatian who prefers having other dogs around, as she loves to play but will also take queues from dogs who prefer to be left alone. She has never had any problems with other dogs and is very good at making them feel welcomed! I take her on 3-4 walks/day and am happy to do the same to yours (would most likely walk them separately). I am very particular about who watches my dog, and I prefer to keep her same routine as much as possible. Therefore, I am happy to follow any detailed instructions given and will send frequent pictures!

Information Alyssa R. would like to know about your pet
I'm happy to follow any special instructions, so please let me know before I watch your dog what they need! You can call me, text, or leave written instructions.
A typical day
We always start our day with a morning walk as soon as we wake up (~7:30-8am). I allow time to relax before I feed them (also depends on what time your dog eats). We allow time for late morning naps, followed by another walk in the early afternoon. This one will be shorter and modified based on how hot it is (I'm careful with hot pavement/sidewalks). The afternoon is usually spent playing with toys and fun interactive activities, followed by relaxing time before dinner. In the evening before bed, we go for another walk!

Loving Care When You’re Not There!
Pet care experience
I have ALWAYS loved dogs, and I treat every dog like my own. I don't have any official training skills, but I have taught my 3 family dogs multiple tricks and how to better behave, especially on walks, which I love to do! I am more than okay with dogs on furniture and will provide endless cuddles and belly rubs (if they want it).
Reviews

Alyssa was amazing with Paddy. She kept me updated on their day and was very communicative. Would recommend.

Alyssa took great care of my dogs. I left my two dogs with Alyssa overnight while I went out of town. A few days before, we did a meet & greet to make sure my dogs were friendly with her dog. During their stay, She sent me updates and photos of my dogs which I appreciated. Everything went very well, and I highly recommend Alyssa.

Great communication and the animals were so happy!

Alyssa was a wonderful Dog Walker for our very active dog, Ginger. She was attentive to details and was great with knowing what to do after asking a few questions. She took the time to warm up to her and a great job with taking pictures and letting us know how the walk went. We’ll definitely be using Alyssa again!
