About: I have experience taking care of all types of animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.). I have medically complex cats myself, so I am comfortable giving medication or other medical treatments include IVs. I also have two dogs so I am comfortable with caring for multiple pets at a time. I know how important it is to have complete trust in the person watching your fur-babies. I’m here to build community! I start work mid morning so I am available for early morning starts. I can work my schedule to your time. I am local to downtown Greenville and happy to travel. I will follow instruction to a T so that you feel comfortable knowing your babies are in good hands. I am an extra-communicator and will happily send all of the pictures so you can get updates on how we are doing.
“My wife and I went away for several days, and Amber walked our two dogs (one is 14 lbs and one is 90 lbs). Even though the weather turned bad, Amber was very dependable. She communicated with us well. Even was committed to walking them in a literal hurricane, although it proved unnecessary and probably would’ve been impossible. Amber will definitely be at the top of our list next time we need someone to walk our dogs or do anything else for them while we’re gone.”

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I can remember. I always had at least one cat in my household growing up. My parents and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their fur babies ever since I was in middle school. My two Siberian cats that I have require a lot of attention, treats and play time, and I can’t wait to also take care of yours! I work from home so I am very flexible during the week and most weekends. I also can take care of your babies in the morning or in the evening. I love playing with my two cats and running them around the house. I will give your fur babies lots of cuddles, love, treats and attention!
“Deborah was available for a same-day request & communicated well! She sent several pictures from the walks. I would use her again in the future if Winter needs another walk while I’m away.”

“Cody was great! He was pretty flexible and helped with my pets for a little over a week without knowing them other than a quick greet and meet. He sent plenty of pictures and updates and this helped a ton while being away from my doggies. Thank you so much”

“Lisa has been walking Ruger 3 times a week for almost a year now...he’s 150 lbs and can be stubborn and she does absolutely wonderful with him. When Ruger sees her he gets super excited. Being active military, I have an extremely sporadic schedule, and Lisa has gone above and beyond accommodating my last minute travel bouts by being there to walk Ruger. I’d give her 6/5 stars if I could.”

I take the time to help pets feel comfortable and safe, whether that means a walk on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, backyard playtime, or some belly rubs for more relaxed pups. Pet parents can count on me to be dependable, follow routines closely, and provide regular updates so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and want you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. About: Hi! My name is Carrington, and I’m a 28-year-old animal lover. I have 2 rescue dogs of my own and 1 cat! I’ve been dog-sitting for nearly 12 years and treat every animal like my own! I work in real estate/finance for a 1031 exchange company, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate last-minute requests. I have two dogs who LOVE playing with other dogs. I offer daily visits, potty breaks, baths, nail trims, dog park trips, walks, pet taxi services, overnight stays, and around-the-clock care. Whether your pup wants to play nonstop fetch and frisbee or simply sunbathe in the yard and relax, I’m happy to match their energy. No matter the size of your best friend, I’m confident I can provide a safe, fun, and loving experience for your furry family member. Please feel free to reach out with any questions — I look forward to meeting your best friend! I work full time for a 1031 company and have a very flexible schedule for potty breaks! If I have events such as concerts on the weekends, I let the owner know when they want to book with me! I send plenty of pictures to keep you updated on how your best friend is doing while you’re away so you know they’re in the best hands possible!
“Morgan is AMAZING! One of the best walkers I have ever had. My pup adores her. Morgan sends multiple pictures throughout her walk to let me know when she arrives and when she leaves. She is super reliable. She is great about letting me know her availability ahead of time. We love Morgan! Would recommend her to anyone.”

“Athena is AMAZING and a literal lifesaver!! She took great care of both of my fur babies, and on short notice as well. I had a last minute trip out of town, and another person that backed out the day before. I reached out to Athena, she responded immediately, and was so easy to work with. I was very comfortable having her come to my home, and she was friendly and extremely professional the entire time. She provided pictures and full detailed updates. I felt so at ease and stress free being out of town knowing that my babies were in such good hands!! I will DEFINITELY be booking with Athena again!!”

You could not do any better than Jackson. He did such a great job with my dog, who is a giant breed and still young and energetic which is a recipe for tough walks at times. Jackson handled him like a pro and was so detail oriented and thorough. Highly recommend!!

Kennedy was wonderful to work with. We booked her a bit last minute and she was able to make it work. She was very communicative and while we didn’t have a chance to meet in person I felt very comfortable having her walk my dog, Brewer, who is truly my favorite creature in the world. I will definitely be booking with Kennedy in the future. Thank you!!

My regular pet sitter was out for several weeks, and I needed to find a temporary sitter— Chaniel was awesome! My black lab (older a quite stubborn!) did great on daily walks with Chaniel. She is great at communication and always kept me updated with pictures. Will definitely ask her to care for Charlie next time the need arises!
Alyssa was a wonderful Dog Walker for our very active dog, Ginger. She was attentive to details and was great with knowing what to do after asking a few questions. She took the time to warm up to her and a great job with taking pictures and letting us know how the walk went. We’ll definitely be using Alyssa again!

Athena took wonderful care of our young dog Lelo. She was incredibly kind and attentive, taking her on lovely walks to the park and making sure she felt comfortable and happy the entire time. We truly appreciate her care and dedication and are very grateful for the great experience. We can highly recommend Athena and would trust her again anytime!

Ana came to visit the day before to meet and took the time to understand what was needed to walk Max & Mazy. She took extra time to chat and we could tell she obviously loves animals and is trustworthy. Mazy is a new member of the family and was just adopted, so full of energy. She gave feedback on a couple of small issues as Mazy managed to escape her kennel after we left and had caused a little havoc. All went as smooth as possible, given a little craziness.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
