I currently have five pets of my own—three dogs and two cats—that I’ve raised and cared for, so I understand the responsibility and attention pets need every day. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I also believe in keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life because I care for my own three dogs and two rescued cats every day. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting in your home, or care for your pet in my home if that’s what works best for you. I do my best to be flexible with scheduling and will make sure your pet gets the love, attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I have a large yard, and while it isn’t fenced, I’m happy to take dogs outside on a leash for potty breaks, walks, and exercise. About: I have had pets in my home since I was a child. I had a senior dog I took care of for six years. I am very comfortable with dogs at all stages or any handicaps. I am home throughout the day and all evening with a flexible schedule. My home is relaxing with plenty of space. The fenced in yard is big and a pile of perfect sticks are waiting to be played with. The neighborhood is away from main roads and safe. I do have cameras in the home to keep an eye on things if I run errands. I have a fenced in large yard for safety if your furry friend stays here. I also have a private inside area if they need some downtime. I only have a couple steps into the home. If I visit them then all rules are strictly adhered too. I provide a lot of love and care, making sure they are calm, happy and safe. I tend to care for 4-6 dogs at a time. Many are high energy so your dog should be comfy with that environment. Lazy, sleepy dogs do well with it. I love to have Meet&Greets. I want you to feel comfortable with my space. If it turns out you are not on board 100%, I understand and have no hard feelings. The safety and happiness of your pet is everyone’s focus. Taking care of pets is my full time job so I am home based. I have a couple day care dogs during the work week and spend most of my day with them. I will follow through with your training and rules. Pets are spoiled with attention. I have a box of toys and treats for them. I will provide photos and videos plus regular updates.
About: Since young, my family owned a plethora of different animals! Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, etc. I love caring for all sorts of animals and show extreme precision in ensuring the best care! I am a full time Elementary Educator! I have the summer off, so totally open weekday availability. Flexible with weekend needs and will be able to work this into my schedule even when returning to school in August! Ana came to visit the day before to meet and took the time to understand what was needed to walk Max & Mazy. She took extra time to chat and we could tell she obviously loves animals and is trustworthy. Mazy is a new member of the family and was just adopted, so full of energy. She gave feedback on a couple of small issues as Mazy managed to escape her kennel after we left and had caused a little havoc. All went as smooth as possible, given a little craziness.
This was our first experience using Rover and couldn't have been more pleased with Megan. Our little guy seemed to love her and she sent pictures during each of her walks with him.
