The integrated him into their daily routine - he "supervised" work from his favorite cushion, played endless rounds of fetch with his teddy, and went on adventures to Unity Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. He even became walking buddies with their cat, Motley, and got to tag along for errands to Lowe's and road trip adventures. Strong communication. Pete sent daily updates with Christmas-card-worthy photos. When my dog ran just a couple of meals short on his specialty kibble, Pete went above and beyond by researching safe, poultry-free grocery store alternatives and picking them up seamlessly. They learned all his little quirks, from his morning routine of waking up for tummy rubs to snuggling under his blanket. I had total peace of mind and cannot recommend them highly enough!”

About: I’ve had pets all my life. The last 15 years have been with my sweet foxhound, Lego and for 4 of those with my laid back Bombay cat, Ivy. I’m a recent empty nester looking to put extra time to good use by caring for others’ loved pets. I work full time from home, and have a doggie door to my back yard that my work space overlooks. I like to take breaks and walk myself, so having a companion during those breaks would be great! I have a large fenced in yard and easy access from my kitchen. I also work from home and am able to go outside or walk pets as needed.

About: After my dad's cat passed away when I was a child, I convinced my parents to let us adopt a white cat who kept appearing on our back porch. We named him Sam and he and the dog became pals. He didn't scratch me nearly as much as my dad's black cat, Stashy used to. A recent cat sitting client required a thyroid medicine cream to be applied to the inside of her ears. She was not into it, so I had to be sneaky. I allow cats to show me how and when they want to be touched and how and when they don't. Playtime with lasers, boxes, paper bags, and rotating crinkly, feathered, bouncy, stretchy, and fuzzy toys is a joy :-)

About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

About: My love of dogs came when I was four years old. It took me only five years to convince my father that I could handle a dog and that was the beginning. I currently now have two cats, and foster kittens. As we don’t have a yard, I don’t have the availability to have my own dog so I want to help others with all of their animals. I joined Rover.com because I enjoy walking and playing with dogs on a regular basis. My professional experience includes volunteering for multiple shelters where I helped with walking, enrichment, feeding and medicating. I am comfortable with specialty diets and sick animals, as well as administering medications, including IV's. I truly love all animals and I am so excited to make this passion a career. I am available Monday through Friday, all day, from first thing in the morning through evening. I can help with weekly dog walking, drop ins for dogs or cats, playtime, or feedings. I believe that the clients schedule and routine is the most important for the animals and I will file that. About: I grew up on a small farm, so have been taking care of animals essentially since birth. I have had anything from dogs and cats, to horses and chickens. All dogs and cats have been inside animals, with a good many of them being rescued or fostered. I am currently a self employed stay at home ceramic artist. I have two loving and spoiled miniature schnauzers, who are 5 and 6 years old. They spend every waking moment with me, even having their own space while I work. I am home 99% of the time, but dogs are crated when I need to run errands, both for their safety and peace of mind.

About: Hi, I have been professionally pet-sitting and a dog mom for over twenty years. My family had dogs and cats from the time I was born. I helped care for newborn golden retriever puppies when my mom was a breeder when I was in middle school. I have experience with senior dogs with health challenges, including my sweet lab mix who lived to be 15 as well as a few pet sitting clients who have needed special attention. I can’t pet sit in smoking homes or homes that have mold, musty smells, or strong air freshener perfumes. These things are generally not an issue for short drop-in visits or walks.
About: I’ve been the primary care taker for family dogs since the age of 7. I focus on proper nutrition and activity, supplemented by extraordinary love and affection for all animals; though dogs tend to get a little more :) Flexible work hours allow me to care for your dogs at odd hours of the day, and can often make special trips if need be. Set schedules are ideal, but flexible caring is not out of the question! I work from home during the weekends and would be able to provide care during those times as well. I have a rather large fenced in yard, with access to water and air conditioning (via doggy door). I have a roommate who is the proud owner of an English Creme Golden and is able to provide extra TLC should your dog need it! About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10, when I lived with my parents we had five dogs. I would feed them, play with them and take them to the bathroom every 2 hours. I love animals they always brighten my day even if I'm down. I do not currently have a job, I'm working on starting my small business up, so i will have the flexibility of a schedule to take care of your fur babies. I enjoy being around animals, they always brighten my day. I will make sure to make them feel loved. If you have a backyard, I can run around with them and make sure there fed and make sure they're taken out to use the bathroom as often as they need.

About: I’ve had pets all my life. The last 15 years have been with my sweet foxhound, Lego and for 4 of those with my laid back Bombay cat, Ivy. I’m a recent empty nester looking to put extra time to good use by caring for others’ loved pets. I work full time from home, and have a doggie door to my back yard that my work space overlooks. I like to take breaks and walk myself, so having a companion during those breaks would be great! I have a large fenced in yard and easy access from my kitchen. About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I currently have two at the moment. A Long haired chihuahua and a Boston Terrier. I have been dog sitting my best friends dogs when she goes out of town. My mom owns a Golden Retriever who is over all the time at my house. I work a 9 to 5 with a very flexible schedule. Most weekends I am home as well I am working a full time job from 830 to 5pm but it is a very flexible schedule for me. I do not usually do anything on weekends. I love going for walks with my dogs and playing outside in the back yard a lot I treat and care for my own pets like they are my children. I will do the same for your dogs. They a routine potty breaks. I have a huge backyard they can all run and play around in.
