My own dog, Isla, is an active German Shepherd mix, so I’m very familiar with daily exercise, enrichment, training practice, and the patience that young or energetic dogs sometimes need. I provide a safe, non-smoking home with a fenced yard and one resident dog. For boarding, introductions with my dog or other residents are supervised, and pets can be separated for meals, rest, or personal space as needed. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, and crate instructions. During walks and drop-ins, I double-check doors and gates, use secure leashes or harnesses, respect each pet’s boundaries, and send regular photos and updates.

About: After my dad's cat passed away when I was a child, I convinced my parents to let us adopt a white cat who kept appearing on our back porch. We named him Sam and he and the dog became pals. He didn't scratch me nearly as much as my dad's black cat, Stashy used to. A recent cat sitting client required a thyroid medicine cream to be applied to the inside of her ears. She was not into it, so I had to be sneaky. I allow cats to show me how and when they want to be touched and how and when they don't. Playtime with lasers, boxes, paper bags, and rotating crinkly, feathered, bouncy, stretchy, and fuzzy toys is a joy :-)

I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses as pets, and while working for my dad I helped take care of pet boarders at his hospital for many years and assisted him and other vets while providing medical care. I also had a spunky Jack Russell for 17 years (!), and to tell the truth, I created this account mostly for the chance to spend time with some doggy friends because I miss that companionship very much, but I'm also still not ready for another one myself. You will be doing me a favor by letting me hang out with your dog! I obviously have experience with elder dog care, and giving medication, but I also have experience with dogs of all different types and energy levels. I work from home most of the week. I only have to leave the house for work on Tuesday and Thursday. My partner, Sofia, works from home full time, however, and is a pet lover like me, so your dog will never be without companionship, and we can accommodate any pet's needs for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, and medication. I have a fenced in back yard to let your dog out in for quick bathroom breaks or just to get fresh air, and I live in a great neighborhood for walking. I'm happy to walk your dog as much as you'd like! I'm also close to Unity Park and the Swamp Rabbit trail if your dog needs some more serious play time! Lastly, I have two sweet kitties who are comfortable around dogs in the sense that they will likely ignore your dog, lol. But I don't board cats because they don't like strange kitties.
About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

I have two loving and spoiled miniature schnauzers, who are 5 and 6 years old. They spend every waking moment with me, even having their own space while I work. I have two friendly and non reactive miniature schnauzers. Dog safe, fenced in yard with security cameras in every corner. Daily walks around West Village, when the pavement temperature allows. I am home 99% of the time, but dogs are crated when I need to run errands, both for their safety and peace of mind.

About: Hi, I have been professionally pet-sitting for over twenty years, and I've been a dog mom my whole adult life. My family had dogs and cats from the time I was born. We bred our golden retriever, so I helped care for newborn puppies when I was in middle school. I have experience with senior dogs with health challenges, including my sweet lab mix who lived to be 15 as well as a few pet sitting clients as well who need special attention. Therefore, I would like to do a meet and greet at your home before confirming a house-sitting arrangement. These things are generally not an issue if all I am doing are short drop-in visits or walks.

I am comfortable with energetic dogs, larger breeds, and dogs with special needs. I pay close attention to each animals body language and personality will never force interactions. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and boarding throughout the week. I plan my bookings carefully so each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and rest while staying as close as possible to their usual routine. I provide a safe, non-smoking home with a fenced yard and one resident dog. For boarding, introductions with my dog or other residents are supervised, and pets can be separated for meals, rest, or personal space as needed. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, and crate instructions. During walks and drop-ins, I double-check doors and gates, use secure leashes or harnesses, respect each pet’s boundaries, and send regular photos and updates.

About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

We allow dogs on the furniture unless that’s a no no for you! We have two dogs who are gentle and playful, so they will wear your pup out and provide a lot of entertainment and companionship during their stay. We can crate your dog if you like, or we can leave them to explore!
