“Tanya was simply amazing. I had to leave for a four day work trip, and had some significant life changes that caused me to have to find some pet care for my cat kind of last minute. Thankfully, Tanya was available. This was the first time I've used this sort of service at all, and I was a little doubtful/apprehensive. We scheduled a meet and greet, and my nerves were calmed after meeting Tanya. She has a nice personality and understood my situation. My cat has an automatic feeder, but I needed someone to check in on Nala, clean the litter box and change the two water bowls. Just as importantly, I really needed someone to spend some time with Nala so she had some human interaction while I was gone. Tanya did all of the above and it made me feel less worried when I got the updates about how well Nala was doing. Tanya cleaned up after Nala and took the litter trash, which I wasn't expecting! I thought I'd forgotten to put a bag in there. I would highly recommend Tanya for your pet care needs. She will take the best care of them. THANK YOU!!!!”

About: My mom used to run a business on rover and I would help but she’s taking less clients and I’m still looking to spend time with your pups! I’m currently working part time! I’m always available all day on Wednesdays and Sundays. Saturday mornings I’m in my office but I have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to give your pups some love. I have two little guys of my own. I value my own puppies so much. I have had dogs my entire life and know what it means to make sure a dog is properly stimulated! I’m aware of the behavior signs of dogs like distress. I’m very patient and calm when dogs can be a handful. I have great attention to detail and changes in behavior. I know some people truly consider there dogs as family and I will treat them as such because they also deserve respect.

About: My love of dogs came when I was four years old. It took me only five years to convince my father that I could handle a dog and that was the beginning. I have always adopted from a shelter and have even adopted to re-home dogs who were to be euthanized. I currently have a Duck Tolling Retriever who likes to sleep more than play. She is my love but I want to be able to play with your lonely dog too! I joined Rover.com because I enjoy walking and playing with dogs on a regular basis. My professional experience includes working in a Vererinarian's office in high school and dog walking/sitting recently. I have experience walking, bathing, feeding specialty diets and sick animals, as well as administering medications, including IV's. I truly love all dogs and I am so excited to make this passion a career. I am available Monday through Friday, all day, from first thing in the morning through evening. I can help with weekly dog walking, drop ins for dogs or cats, playtime, or feedings. I believe that the clients schedule and routine is the most important for the animals and I will file that. I always let my clients know when I have arrived and when I’m leaving and at least one picture to let them know that their pets are taken very well care of.

About: Hi, I have been professionally pet-sitting for over twenty years, and I've been a dog mom my whole adult life. My family had dogs and cats from the time I was born. We bred our golden retriever, so I helped care for newborn puppies when I was in middle school. I have experience with senior dogs with health challenges, including my sweet lab mix who lived to be 15 as well as a few pet sitting clients as well who need special attention. I love spending time with animals and celebrating life, sharing their joyful presence and pure, loving hearts. I'm delighted to brush, massage, administer meds, cuddle, walk, play ball, play hide-and-seek, run, and talk to your fur children. I have a gorgeous, snuggly pit bull named Jade who vacations at my parents house when I am pet sitting in your home. I am in transition from grad school to private practice as a marriage and family therapist, and I intend to pet sit as I gradually get my practice up and running and increase clients. I will continue to be available for in home pet sitting, staying at your home at least part time throughout the day. ***I do not smoke and am sensitive to strong chemical perfumes, so I will not bring anything like that into your environment. I can’t pet sit in smoking homes or homes that have mold, musty smells, or strong air freshener perfumes. Therefore, I would like to do a meet and greet at your home before confirming a house-sitting arrangement. These things are generally not an issue if all I am doing are short drop-in visits or walks.
