“Very very appreciative of Kathryn. She was so helpful and ensured that all of our pets’ needs were met, going above and beyond to make sure that everything went well. I’ve had a few less than pleasant experiences on here, so coming home to happy pets and no mess was a relief. I absolutely recommend booking with her.”

“Harriette has been a reliable and kind cat sitter. On this particular trip, she went above and beyond to make sure our cat was looked after during our absence. We’re so grateful and would highly recommend booking with Harriette! 😻”

About: Hi, I have been professionally pet-sitting for over twenty years, and I've been a dog mom my whole adult life. My family had dogs and cats from the time I was born. We bred our golden retriever, so I helped care for newborn puppies when I was in middle school. I have experience with senior dogs with health challenges, including my sweet lab mix who lived to be 15 as well as a few pet sitting clients as well who need special attention. I love spending time with animals and celebrating life, sharing their joyful presence and pure, loving hearts. I'm delighted to brush, massage, administer meds, cuddle, walk, play ball, play hide-and-seek, run, and talk to your fur children. I have a gorgeous, snuggly pit bull named Jade who vacations at my parents house when I am pet sitting in your home. I am in transition from grad school to private practice as a marriage and family therapist, and I intend to pet sit as I gradually get my practice up and running and increase clients. I will continue to be available for in home pet sitting, staying at your home at least part time throughout the day. ***I do not smoke and am sensitive to strong chemical perfumes, so I will not bring anything like that into your environment. I can’t pet sit in smoking homes or homes that have mold, musty smells, or strong air freshener perfumes. Therefore, I would like to do a meet and greet at your home before confirming a house-sitting arrangement. These things are generally not an issue if all I am doing are short drop-in visits or walks.

About: I truly love spending time with all kinds of pets! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their animals. I know that dogs need their exercise and outdoor time, while cats might need a clean litter box and some interactive toy play. Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn off energy or your cat needs some gentle chin scratches, I am reliable, attentive, and will always send plenty of photo updates! I currently work morning and occasional afternoon shifts, typically from 5 AM–1 PM or 12 PM–5 PM. My schedule still allows me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive and reliable pet care. Outside of my work hours, I am available for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine and make sure they receive the care, companionship, and attention they need while you’re away. I strictly follow all security and care instructions to keep your pets and property safe. I am a highly responsible and communicative sitter. I'll send you frequent photo and text updates so you never have to wonder how your furry friend is doing while you're away.
“Lori was amazing with our babies! Both our babies love her when she comes and visits them. Lori spends time and brushes their coat (their favorite) and tends to their needs! We didn't have to worry when we were traveling out of the country for 2 weeks! You're the best, Lori!”

“Amber did a fantastic job caring for our two cats! They had specific medical needs that she was able to meet easily, and she was very accommodating to changes in scheduling. She provided a high level of care, and communicated to us updates at every check in. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Luke! He and I enjoyed each other's company very much. Now that he is gone (with all other dogs in heaven!) I am hoping to take other sweet dogs on walks and runs and spend time with them. I will take care of your dog and keep them very happy while you can't be with them. I really love dogs so very very very very very very very much. I work from home but have plenty of flexibility all 7 days a week to care for your pets and give them some love while you’re away! I have a large house and huge fenced back yard as well as nearby parks in the area. I am considered very good with pets.
“Cherie was available same-week, we did a last-minute meet & greet, so I could make sure my dog was comfortable with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience; she took great care of my boy and kept me updated with lots of pictures and feedback on how he was doing, which made me feel super confident he was in good hands. I can tell she genuinely loves taking care of dogs and takes the time to get to know them and their individual needs. Thank you!!”

“Andrea was available super last minute to do drops ins all week for my pup. Always on time and always sends pictures! She’s always who I reach out to first anytime I need a pet setter!”

“Catherine was very accommodating for a last minute drop in for my 2 dogs. One of my dogs vomited and she cleaned it up w out hesitation. She provided lots of updates and photos. I would book her services again.”

About: I have owned pets all of my life. Over the years, I have owned dogs, cats, chinchillas, and conures. Pets are members of your family, not just animals living in your house! I am 65 years old and I currently substitute teach part time. I would be very flexible with hours to visit to your home and when I come see your pet; I will treat them as if they were my own. When coming into your home, I would take the time to get to know your pets needs and personality. Every pet is an individual. They need to be treated with respect and loving kindness.
“Tanya was simply amazing. I had to leave for a four day work trip, and had some significant life changes that caused me to have to find some pet care for my cat kind of last minute. Thankfully, Tanya was available. This was the first time I've used this sort of service at all, and I was a little doubtful/apprehensive. We scheduled a meet and greet, and my nerves were calmed after meeting Tanya. She has a nice personality and understood my situation. My cat has an automatic feeder, but I needed someone to check in on Nala, clean the litter box and change the two water bowls. Just as importantly, I really needed someone to spend some time with Nala so she had some human interaction while I was gone. Tanya did all of the above and it made me feel less worried when I got the updates about how well Nala was doing. Tanya cleaned up after Nala and took the litter trash, which I wasn't expecting! I thought I'd forgotten to put a bag in there. I would highly recommend Tanya for your pet care needs. She will take the best care of them. THANK YOU!!!!”

About: I have been a multidog household for the last 20 years, typically 3 dogs at a time. I have had puppies to seniors in our care and am able to manage multiple needs in the same house. I am currently not working as my family and I settle into South Carolina so my schedule is more than flexible to meet your needs. I am happy to come to your house to play, feed, walk and interact with your pet. I thoroughly enjoy telling them all about my day and love when they "talk" back!
“Deb did a fantastic job with Susi and Mina during her 30-minute drop-in visit! She was on time, played with them, let them out, and kept everything tidy. I’ll definitely keep booking her!”

Additionally, I'm comfortable and experienced in administering medications and providing specialized care for senior pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. With me, your pet will receive lots of love, attention, and the best possible care! Pet care is a central part of my daily and weekly routine. Each day begins with letting my dogs out to go potty and then feeding them along with my cat! In the evenings, it's all about winding down with a final walk, dinner, and cozy time before bed. Steffanie did a wonderful job taking care of Ola! She was very attentive, caring, and kept me updated throughout the stay. Communication was great, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Ola was in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with Steffanie again. Highly recommend!

Jana was fantastic this week. So thankful I found her on Rover. Great communication and the photos look like the kitties were happy to see her on each visit. Thank you for your patience with Charlie. I was relieved knowing Charlie was getting his daily medication with no issue.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
