“Cherie was amazing! My dog had ACL repair surgery and she came over multiple times a day to take him out, give him medicine and give him love in general while I had to work. I highly recommend her and so would my puppers!”

“Tindle was so sweet and attentive to our babies while we were on a trip! She sends the cutest pictures & very thorough updates, would highly recommend her to care for your pets while you’re away!”

“Deb did a fantastic job with Susi and Mina during her 30-minute drop-in visit! She was on time, played with them, let them out, and kept everything tidy. I’ll definitely keep booking her!”

“Jessica has been letting our dogs out a few times a week while we’re at work, and they absolutely love her. She is patient and understanding with our dogs, Ollie and Bear, because Ollie hates to get his feet wet in the grass and Bear is afraid of umbrellas. She’s always prompt and reliable, which gives me peace of mind knowing they’re being well taken care of while we’re at work. I truly appreciate her and will continue booking with her in the future.”

“I can't say enough great things about Ideen. We just moved to Alexandria from a small town in Illinois and our house isn't set up for the dog's to have unlimited in-out access to our backyard during the workday yet so we needed someone to give them a potty break. We have 3 large dogs, 2 German Shepards and a mix. One of our Shepards is a bit iffy around new people, specifically with guarding the house. Ideen handled her beautifully. She even gave him kisses during their meet and greet! All of our animals immediately took to him. He went above and beyond what we expected, he was very flexible with arrival time and left detailed comments about each stay. I would definitely recommend Ideen to everyone and we will for sure be using his services whenever we need a dog sitter!”

“Andrea responded very quickly to my request and was able to also quickly meet for an initial meet & greet drop-in, a few days prior to the appointment series. I could tell then, she was going to be a perfect the sitter for us. Andrea made me and Izzy feel very comfortable from the first meeting. I can tell she has a great love for all fur-babies. Andrea sent very timely and thorough updates during her scheduled drop-ins and izzy was calm and happy when I came home. I highly recommend Andrea and will definitely request Andrea’s help again. Thank you Andrea!”

“Cody has taken care of my cat Edwin (my cat) 2 times now. He does a fantastic job with communication, updates, pictures, and follows directions. No complaints! Definitely consider booking with him if you have a cat.”

“I don’t have the easiest dog to care for, but she did an absolutely amazing job with him. She was so loving, attentive, and kept me updated throughout the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!”

“Amber did a fantastic job caring for our two cats! They had specific medical needs that she was able to meet easily, and she was very accommodating to changes in scheduling. She provided a high level of care, and communicated to us updates at every check in. Highly recommend!”

“Jana is amazing! I have a unique and inconsistent schedule and needed help checking in on Leo while I am working. She has been flexible with us in scheduling and Leo ADORES her! I could not be more relieved knowing he is in excellent care while I am working. She takes him on walks, plays and cuddles with him. It is hard for me to leave him but it is very comforting to know he is loved and cared for so much when I can’t be there for him. It’s hard for me to trust anyone with my sweet little boy but I can say we made a perfect match with Jana. I look forward to each visit and Leo does too. Thank you so much Jana, we appreciate you!!”

“Jay has done great work for us. Last minute or well planned he has always come through. We have 5 dogs and they love him too. Very easy to work with and very reliable. You won't be disappointed with Jay's care of your pets.”

“Rae was extremely helpful and kept the house clean. She continued to keep us updated on the dogs while we were out of town. Will definitely have her dog sit for us again 😊”

“I hired Helen to watch after our two dogs during a transition period. Her flexibility allowed for three 60min visits which included dog walks each week. Helen was always on time and sent super detailed Rover updates. Both dogs loved her visits. I would definitely recommend Helen for any dog needs you may have!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Parker
Jaclyn is so sweet with our kitty, Dixie. When we returned home after being away for a few days, Dixie was calm and happy. It was obvious that Jaclyn spent the time each day to make certain Dixie had the social interaction and predictable routine she needed to feel secure. Jaclyn is reliable and stayed in communication with us, which we greatly appreciated.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 967 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Parker. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Parker. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
