“Jaylin is hands down the best person you could possibly leave your dog with. She not only has a deep love for animals, but is also experienced in things like giving them medications. She is very particular about introducing her dogs to your dog slowly as to not overwhelm anyone, which is extremely important. My dog had an absolute blast and I will definitely be using Jaylin’s service again in the near future. It was a great experience for everyone.”

“Erika as usual showers our babies with so much love & attention, we couldn’t ask for anything more. She’s very accommodating & easy to work with. We’re lucky to have her.”

“Dustin and Abby are amazing! My dog has some separation anxiety, but he had no worries going to Dustin and Abby's. He was well taken care of and loved while with them. We will certainly be a repeat customer.”

“Vanessa is awesome. Had an emergency come up so I wasn’t able to pick up my pup at the expected time. She thankfully watched him for another few hours and was nice enough to feed him as well. Really helped me out a lot. Highly recommend.”

About: The son and grandson of veterinarians, I've spent my whole life around animals of all kinds, and I would love the chance to take care of your dog! I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses as pets, and while working for my dad I helped take care of pet boarders at his hospital for many years and assisted him and other vets while providing medical care. I also had a spunky Jack Russell for 17 years (!), and to tell the truth, I created this account mostly for the chance to spend time with some doggy friends because I miss that companionship very much, but I'm also still not ready for another one myself. You will be doing me a favor by letting me hang out with your dog! I obviously have experience with elder dog care, and giving medication, but I also have experience with dogs of all different types and energy levels. I work from home most of the week. I only have to leave the house for work on Tuesday and Thursday. My partner, Sofia, works from home full time, however, and is a pet lover like me, so your dog will never be without companionship, and we can accommodate any pet's needs for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, and medication. I have a fenced in back yard to let your dog out in for quick bathroom breaks or just to get fresh air, and I live in a great neighborhood for walking. I'm happy to walk your dog as much as you'd like! I'm also close to Unity Park and the Swamp Rabbit trail if your dog needs some more serious play time! Lastly, I have two sweet kitties who are comfortable around dogs in the sense that they will likely ignore your dog, lol. But I don't board cats because they don't like strange kitties.
About: I have ALWAYS loved dogs, and I treat every dog like my own. I don't have any official training skills, but I have taught my 3 family dogs multiple tricks and how to better behave, especially on walks, which I love to do! I am more than okay with dogs on furniture and will provide endless cuddles and belly rubs (if they want it). I am currently doing research in my 4th year of medical school, which means I stay at home. I don't have to work every day, so it's perfect if I have dogs that need extra attention, and it leaves plenty of time for long walks and frequent potty breaks! I have a fenced in back yard with a 3-year-old dalmatian who prefers having other dogs around, as she loves to play but will also take queues from dogs who prefer to be left alone. She has never had any problems with other dogs and is very good at making them feel welcomed! I take her on 3-4 walks/day and am happy to do the same to yours (would most likely walk them separately). I am very particular about who watches my dog, and I prefer to keep her same routine as much as possible. Therefore, I am happy to follow any detailed instructions given and will send frequent pictures!
“Theo was so great with our dog! Right when we dropped him off he was ready to take him on a walk. He is super flexible and really listened to his needs! Would definitely use him again!”

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, I provide a level of care that’s both attentive and genuinely personal. I was raised in a home where dogs were treated like family, and that philosophy still guides everything I do—your dog will be cared for with the same level of love, structure, and attention I give my own. I’m experienced in managing a wide range of care needs, including medication administration, specialized feeding routines, and accommodating unique behaviors or sensitivities. Whether your dog thrives on routine or needs a little extra patience and understanding, I tailor my approach to what works best for them. If you’re looking for someone reliable, communicative, and genuinely invested in your dog’s well-being, I’d love to help. I work from home, I offer a high level of availability and flexibility. I’m able to be present throughout the day, allowing for consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship—something many sitters simply can’t provide. At home, I have two dogs—Remi, my Doberman, and Teddie, my doodle—my perfect yin and yang. They’re well-socialized, well-loved, and live a very active, enriched lifestyle. That same standard of care extends to every dog I welcome.
About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. I have had the privilege of caring for many beloved pups. Throughout my pet-sitting days, I have provided a loving and safe environment for dogs of all shapes and sizes. My two personal dogs were an integral part of my life for 12 wonderful years. They both passed in the Summer of 2020. It took me awhile to get another dog, but I did finally get our Elvis (a bloodhound) in October 2022. He is almost 5 years old with a giant heart! He loves to have a fur-friend over and gets along with any age pup. I have a son who is 10 years old and absolutely loves helping out with the dogs. My son has learned so much about dogs and loves having them around as well. I also prioritize the emotional well-being of the dogs I sit for. I recognize the profound impact that loss and change can have on a dog’s mental health, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where they feel safe and supported. Through patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of canine behavior, I work to alleviate any anxiety or stress that may arise during their time with me. Above all, I approach dog sitting as a privilege and a responsibility. I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism and compassion, ensuring that each dog receives the love and attention they deserve. My goal is to provide a pawsitive and enriching experience for both the dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of peace of mind for all parties involved. I am a stay at home dog-mom! About: Hi, I’m Lu! I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s small dogs before, and now I’m excited to do this full-time on Rover. I have my own pup, Cobito, who's been with me for 10 years. He's neutered, super chill, and friendly with other small dogs. My husband Michel also loves dogs and often joins in giving them attention and affection when he’s home, so your pup will feel part of our little family. I work from home full-time, so I’m here throughout the day to give your dog the attention they need. Even though we have a big fenced yard, I walk my dog several times a day for potty breaks and exercise — and I’ll of course do the same for your pup. I only host small dogs to ensure a calm and safe environment. My home has a large fenced yard with lots of trees where dogs can safely play and explore. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos so you always feel connected.

Parker dog parents share their Rover experiences
We were so glad to meet Jaylin and Charlie! We had been looking for a safe, dog-centric home care for Lucy, our anxious Great Dane-great Pyrenees mix for a while on-again/off-again and feel like we struck gold. Jaylin and Charlie are true dog people letting Lucy warm up in her time and really picking up and paying attention to her cues. They have made quality dog care their business and their dedication and passion shows in how they’ve set up their space. We’ll definitely use Charlie and Jaylin again!

My husband and I made the amazing decision to bring two puppies into our house at once. They are a lot and require attention non-stop. We booked Jana to watch them for the day, terrified she’d get overwhelmed, but she was a pro. They warmed up to her very quickly and she is very knowledgeable when it comes to a dog’s behavior and needs. We plan on booking her again for sitting during our upcoming vacation.
