“Alexis was wonderful! Zephy obviously loved her! I came home to a relaxed, happy dog and a neat house. Never once had to ask for an update, because she sent pictures and updates regularly. I will definitely book her again!”

About: I have experience taking care of all types of animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.). I have medically complex cats myself, so I am comfortable giving medication or other medical treatments include IVs. I also have two dogs so I am comfortable with caring for multiple pets at a time. I know how important it is to have complete trust in the person watching your fur-babies. I’m here to build community! I start work mid morning so I am available for early morning starts. I can work my schedule to your time. I am local to downtown Greenville and happy to travel. I will follow instruction to a T so that you feel comfortable knowing your babies are in good hands. I am an extra-communicator and will happily send all of the pictures so you can get updates on how we are doing.
“Athena did a great job house sitting and taking care of my dog. She sent frequent updates and pictures and I was never worried about my dog while I was on vacation.”

“The meet between Michelle &jade was great from the start! I felt safe &comfortable leaving her in my home for 5 days. I received photos and updates everyday. She took her for walks and gave jade lots of love ( I can tell from the pics). I also returned home to a clean house. Thank u soo much! Your the best”
“I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. He was professional and kind. When we did our meet and greet my dogs were in love with him from the get go. He went above and beyond while looking after them. He sent me numerous pictures, took them on long walks (even though he didn’t have to) and let me know when one of my dogs meds was starting to run low. Chris is a rockstar and I am looking forward to working with him in the future”

“I felt reassured going out of town leaving the dogs in Steffanie’s care. She checked in with me regularly, took great care of the dogs, and sent photos of them out and about each day.”

“You know how when you leave your dogs with someone else for the first time, you're never quite sure how it will go? Well, we didn't really feel that way with Lisa. From the first contact to the end of the stay she was friendly and accommodating. She did a great job keeping them in their routine and handling any unforeseen doggie accidents (like throwing up on the kitchen floor!). Our home seemed cleaner than when we left (a miracle) and our Labs were worn out. We could not ask for more. I'd be even more complimentary, but I want to make sure she's available for the next time we need her ;) Seriously, though, Lisa was wonderful!”

“Amy was wonderful with my two pups! She was very attentive and communicative throughout the weekend and kept me updated with photos. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands, and they seemed so happy and well cared for when I got home. She also left my apartment spotless, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend Amy and would happily book with her again!”

“Madeline, was AWESOME!! Unfortunately our dog wasn't doing great before we left and she was aware of that and did everything to help him be comfortable. Then his injury got worse and she phoned and updated us on everything happening and we drove home. Hands down she is the BEST dog sitter we have had and Biscuit 🐶LOVES her❤️”

“Okay folks! Our Winston literally cried when MB & Lindsey left our house to go home. They took loving care of our dog and house for 11 days. We highly recommend their dog and house sitting services.”

“Jerry is an excellent dog sitter and in my own house. I couldn't have picked a better person for Roux. I received pictures of Roux everyday and she looked so happy. I would like to send Jerry a hardy Thank you”

“Cindy is amazing!! She kept me up-to-date on Riley all throughout the weekend and sent the cutest pictures of her. She took such good care of Riley and the house. I felt so good knowing that Riley was in good and loving hands. I highly recommend her and look forward to having Cindy again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Lori! She stayed at our home and cared for our two dogs/two cats while we were away. One of our dogs had recently undergone surgery and required medications, rehab exercises, constant monitoring, and a very specific care routine. She took the time to come by before our trip to learn everything and handled his care flawlessly. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with photos and messages, stayed incredibly organized, and communicated wonderfully. What impressed us most was the level of care and dedication she showed. Not only during our trip, but also by checking in on our dog’s recovery afterward. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring. Very grateful will 100% be booking with her again!”

“Payton always does a fantastic job watching our dog! She makes sure to keep to his schedule/routine and sends like of pictures and videos! She's also very flexible with the timing of it and her communication is fabulous! He gets excited to see her when she comes now, you can tell he has such a blast! I know when she's over, I don't have to worry about him at all. I cannot recommend her enough!! Thanks for always taking such great care of him!”

“Daniela took extra steps to ensure my pets were comfortable and cared for. I frequently feel nervous leaving my pets with someone new, but she was amazing with communication and it eased my mind knowing she was there to care for them. I would use Daniela in the future!!”

About: I am an animal lover through and through. I have training experience with puppies, as long as senior pups. I love playing with high energy fur babies, but also know how scary or overwhelming it could be meeting a new human so I am also empathetic to those maybe a little more timid. I work part time, and complete my internship and school from home, making my life super accessible for short or long term commitments. I am also very active, so it doesn’t matter the weather, I’d rather be outside - rain or sun:) As a dog mom of two dudes myself, I feel it is extremely important to prioritize safety, bond, and communication. I see the animals I care for the same as any human I would care for - worthy of love, understanding, patience, and prioritization.
“Mehlayne made herself available last minute to take care of our little Lupo. She was punctual, kind, respectful, and communicative while we were away. She followed all of our care instructions etc. etc. It is obvious that Lupo was restless while we were gone (because he’s passed out now) but Mehlayne said she tried very hard to make Lupo comfortable. We would certainly consider hiring her in the future.”

“Luke was amazing! He was very communicative and sent us photos daily. Came back to a pristine house and a happy healthy dog. We will definitely be using Luke again for future trips.”

“This was our first time using a new sitter and first time on Rover. I have two anxious senior pups with one who has multiple oral medications and also tends to take time to warm up to new people. Carson took the time to come for a meet and greet and for a drop in prior to the weekend away. All seemed to go well! She was responsive and communicative and also sent a couple of pictures. We will definitely use her again!”

I cannot recommend Sara enough to anyone looking for a dog sitter. She sent plenty of detailed updates about our sweet girls, it was great to see they had a wonderful time while traveling. She always takes wonderful care of them and leaves our home in great condition. When our flight got canceled on our last trip she was even willing to extend the booking to make sure our sweet girls were taken care of. If you love your dogs (like I’m sure you all do) Sara is the best dog sitter out there. I would leave her 1,000 stars if I could!

Eva did a wonderful job housesitting my pets. I have an older dog who needs medicine and she took such great care of my pup. Both pets seemed so relaxed and happy when I got home, and the house was well taken care of too. Thank you so much for the peace of mind, Eva - I will book again!

Regan was a phenomenal sitter for our cat Scar. She was on top of communication with us and always sent pictures. When we had our meet and greet with her, we got along great and our cat went right up to her. She is trustworthy and what you look for in a Rover sitter.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Parker walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Parker maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Parker choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Parker. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
