I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate almost anything! I would prefer 2 days notice, but I understand life can change quickly and your pup still needs care. I will do my best with same day requests but cannot offer a guarantee.

Safety, trust & environment

With my own dog at home, I cannot offer boarding, but I am more than happy to come see your dog in their home environment. I am happy to do drop ins or walks for homes with cats, however I cannot stay overnight in homes with cats due to allergies.

Information Sara B. would like to know about your pet

I like to carry a bag of treats with me for walks, so please tell me if they have any allergies or preferences. Also, please tell me any special instructions, such as if they are scared of strangers or other dogs.

A typical day

I love to explore the local parks, and would be excited to take your pup on a hike! Conestee Nature Preserve is one of my favorite spots. For overnight stays, I will be up around 7 to feed and let your dog out, then go back to my home at 8 to do the same for my dog. I will be back at your home from 12 - 4, then go to my home from 4 - 8, and finally return to your home for the night at 8. This may change as needed to accommodate other commitments, but I prefer to check in on your pups about every four hours. My overnight stay base rate includes up to 30 minutes of walk/play time.

Experience with reactive dogs

Pet care experience

When my rescue dog Honey came into my life, I had to learn a lot about loving reactive dogs! I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust to care for a difficult dog when you need it. Please note that all rates on Rover are my base rates. After a meet and greet where we discuss your dog's needs, any rates may be increased accordingly with services required. For overnight stays with high anxiety, very high energy, or other cases that require specialized care, expect at least $50 per night for a single dog.

Sara was fantastic. She came in before to meet my dog ava since she’s a senior dog and weary of new people. She warmed right up to Sara. She helped take her out and follows directions perfectly on helping with my kitties. Also sent pictures and updated me on her visit. (:

I have a giant rambunctious puppy, and Sara is so patient and accommodating with him! She drops in on him for structured play and training during the day. I 100% recommend Sara if your dog requires some patience and TLC.

Sara did great with our pups! She communicated well, took them on plenty of walks & sent plenty of pictures/updates. We will definitely be repeat customers!!

I highly recommend Sara, especially for owners of difficult dogs. Sara is patient and calm while also being firm with training techniques. She has experience with aggressive dogs and understands reactive behavior. She has a flexible schedule and can help out last minute.
