“They came by the day before. To meet my boys Keeke and Tex. Asked us what they needed including medicine. She works for a veterinarian. Made me feel better. I thought they did excellent. I received pictures and a progress report on my furry sons.”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and neighbors trusted me enough to watch and take care of theirs while away on vacation since a teenager. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so caring for pets fits right into my everyday life. Your pet will be part of our daily routine filled with walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Being home full-time allows me to maintain a consistent and dependable routine for pet care. I can provide scheduled feedings, regular exercise and potty break, and safe supervision I have a fenced yard and I am home full-time providing a safe loving environment making sure you fur babies feel comfortable and cared for at all times
“I can’t recommend Morgan enough. It was the first time leaving my pets for over a week AND being out of the country with limited cell service and I was able to rest assured knowing my pets were loved on and cared for. Even after some travel delays on my end Morgan was able to pop over one last time to make sure they had everything they needed for one more night.”

“Valissa is great and super trustworthy! I’m so glad I have someone I can count on to take such good care of my dog. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a reliable dog walker or pet sitter!”

“Deb did a wonderful job of looking after my Lunabelle!!! She sent pictures and kept me updated during my trip. I will definitely use her again... my little dog made a new friend😊😊😊😊”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have always felt drawn to caring for animals. I grew up with two Dobermans who were essentially my siblings, and that early bond shaped my lifelong passion for dog behavior, training, and care. I now share my home with three well-trained, social dogs (Totoro, Mei, + Sprite) who help me welcome visiting pups with calm, friendly energy. I take training and behavior seriously and feel confident reading dog body language, managing multi-dog dynamics, and stepping in early to keep interactions safe and positive. I treat all dogs with the same attention, affection, and structure I give my own pets. Whether your dog is social, shy, playful, or needs a little extra patience, I’m attentive to their individual needs and comfort level. I work full-time from home as a Creative Content Designer, which means I’m with my dogs all day — and your pup will get that same level of attention. My schedule is flexible, and I can easily accommodate potty breaks, play sessions, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Since I don’t have children, caring for animals is a big part of my daily routine, and there’s always someone home to supervise, comfort, or engage with your dog. Our home in Greenville is cozy, relaxed, and designed with dogs in mind. I prioritize safety and harmony above all — I monitor all dog interactions closely and am proactive about managing energy levels, ensuring respectful play, and creating calm, structured environments. Your dog will have supervised access to our living areas, regular outdoor time, and a consistent routine. I’m attentive to each pup’s personality and comfort, and I’m always prepared to adjust environments, separate dogs if needed, or provide one-on-one time. I treat every visiting dog like family, and my goal is for them to feel safe, loved, and truly at home while they’re with us.
“Jessica was an amazing cat sitter! She was very attentive to the cats; Cinnamon loved her so much. She sent pictures of our cats and left report cards after each visit. We also really appreciated her quickly informing us that we had an ant problem. Thanks to her, we were able to address the issue while we were away. Thank you!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my Maine Coon cat, Sophie for 8 days under the care of Julie. She came daily for 30 minutes to our home to feed Sophie, clean her litter box, brush her and play with her. Julie always sent me updated pictures of Sophie and described how sweet she was. Julie truly connected with her and gave her the love and attention Sophie needed. I will definitely use her again when I go out of town and I recommend her to future clients.”

“Morgan was great at jumping in last minute when my other person fell through! My dogs seemed to take well and things went smoothly. Appreciated the communication and updates!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around them and have years of hands-on experience caring for them, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also looked after animals for family, friends, and others, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind by providing dependable, attentive, and compassionate care every time. What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and dedication I have for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling and plenty of attention throughout the day. My schedule gives me the ability to accommodate your pet’s routine! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I will care for your pet with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to ensure they receive the best possible care.
“Amber is incredibly punctual and has such a way with my animals - I am so grateful we found her and will be using her every time there is a need for outstanding pet sitting! It’s so reassuring to know they’re in such good hands.”

“Jessica was fantastic with my cat! She gave him lots of love and attention and sent very nice pics and updates each day. Super grateful for her friendly and thorough care!”

About: I have experience with pets of all ages and needs: puppies and kittens, seniors, special needs (the Great Dane in my pics is blind lol, she’s the best), and will do everything in my power to make sure your pets are loved and well cared for. I’m big on open communication so I will send pics and updates throughout my time with your pets! My only current obligation is from 9 AM to noon on weekdays, so my availability is very open! I have my own reliable transportation :) We live in a house with a fully fenced in yard so you can have peace of mind that your pup will be safe with us. We currently have two dogs and often have dog friends from church staying with us, so they aren’t strangers to sharing their space and are comfortable with it! My cattle dog has daily brain games and challenges to keep him entertained, and I am more than happy to do that with your pup!
“Catherine was amazing and took great care of our sick pup while we had to go out of town. She was extremely communicative and informative while we were gone - 10/10 recommend”
About: I have grown up with pets and currently have 2 little kitties! I grew up with a sweet black lab and a calico cat and had the best time with them. I am partial to cats, but I love dogs as well and I hope I can help you with whatever you need for your sweet pets! I currently work an 8-5 Monday to Friday but can stop by before work, during lunch depending on distance, and after work. I’m available most weekends all day. I do not offer animal care at for your pet at my home, but I can stop by multiple times a day for drop ins, or can stay the night and house sit. Just let me know what you need and we can figure out what works best for all of us!
About: I have owned many animals from dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and more so I have a lot of different experience with many species. I have been a dog walker for around 3 years now as well for close family friends. Pet care is going to fit into my daily/weekly routine whenever needed because this is going to be my sole focus over the summer, so I’ll be free when needed! - walking dogs on designated routes, ensuring their safety, cleaning up after them, and monitoring their behavior and well-being - taking care of pets by feeding, watering, bathing, playtime, and more

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Magnolia Acres
Rachael did a great job in taking care of our baby while we were out of the country. She followed the instructions that we provided and went above and beyond. Best part is her kids were there as well and my kitty loves kids. They were all so loving and took great care of care! Thanks a lot Rachael again!

Sofía was absolutely amazing! She took care of Cass (our loved furry baby) for six weeks and, most importantly, gave him all the love and attention he needed. She was super responsive and very attentive to our requests and all the little details regarding Cass’s care. She went above and beyond with cuddles, playtime, and making sure he felt cared for every day. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such loving and reliable hands. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better, highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Magnolia Acres. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
