About: I will apply a discount for pets 3 to 5. I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, and more. While I love all animals, most of my hands on experience is with dogs and cats, especially medium to extra large breeds. But I have experience with all types, and all are welcome in my home. I am very understand of their needs, routines, and energy levels. I also have experience with PMR style raw feeding and am happy to follow your dog’s specific feeding instructions closely. My home is set up with pets in mind. I have a decent sized yard for outdoor time, along with a doggy door for easy access to potty breaks. The doggy door can be closed if needed. My yard is fully fenced with a 4 foot fence and secure latching gates, so it is a good enclosure but we will go over the height when you get here. Inside the home, dogs are welcome on the couches right alongside the humans. They are also allowed on the beds as we have 3 bedrooms and they can choose where they want to stay at night so they are completely comfortable. I am comfortable administering oral medications and following care instructions for pets who need extra support, including seniors, although I do not offer injectable medications. But if that is necessary we will discuss that further. To ensure each pet gets plenty of attention and personalized care, I host a maximum of 2 to 3 dogs at a time from different homes depending on how well they get along, or 3 to 4 from the same home. If you dog does not get along with others please inform me that you need your dog to be the only one in my home during stay and I will plan accordingly. My goal is to provide a calm, loving, home away from home where your pet feels safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while you are away. I truly love dogs and use positive reinforcement to create a safe, comforting environment that helps ease the stress of being away from their humans. I currently work at home and do not need to leave very often. My work is mostly hands off so most of my attention can go to the dogs needs. I will also be able to walk them often if weather permits. My yard is great for running around and I will go out there and play with them a few times a day. I am bonded and insured beyond Rover's insurance alone with Pet Care Insurance. I will offer a loving greeting and give them what they need when their family is gone. I will be able to administer medicine if necessary. I will be able to stay for a while at their home but I prefer the to come to my home as it will be easier for me to make sure they are well cared for. I will feed on their schedule and make sure food bowls are clean and water is always available. I am able to feed raw and PMR raw diets as well as any other diet type.
“Valissa was able to handle our request at the very last minute when my family was unable to come to our home. She took care of everything on our list and sent multiple snapshots for us. She was extremely responsive. My mind was put to ease when my cats did not hide under the bed while she visited. Thank you, Valissa!”

“Sesaria was so good with my pup Niccoló and really put me at ease on my trip away. She was very accommodating and followed all the directions I gave. Absolutely the best communication and thorough updates I’ve ever received from a dog walker!! Thanks again Sesaria!”

“Morgan was amazing with our crew! We have rescues and they can be a little temperamental, but I felt completely at ease while she was watching them and they loved her! She provided great updates and pictures. We will definitely use her again!”

About: At the height of my career, I have taken care of four rescue dogs all at once for an entire week straight! None of the dogs fought and they all felt comfortable around me. I am available to let dogs out all day and provide them with belly rubs and entertainment. I am currently unemployed and would like to take this up full time if possible. I have a cat at home, but he’s low maintenance and I am able to juggle that with dog-sitting. I can comfortably allow a cat and a small or medium dog into my apartment if they would prefer boarding. I am good to travel to sit more so, because I do not have a yard. But I do live in a dog-friendly complex.
“Jessica was fantastic with my cat! She gave him lots of love and attention and sent very nice pics and updates each day. Super grateful for her friendly and thorough care!”

“Lynsie is the absolute best! She has been watching my puppy and is so patient with her and helps train her too! She spends thorough time with my Millie and even gives my other puppies treats! We are MORE than happy with Lynsie and her care. I highly recommend her!”

“We had a wonderful experience with her! She took amazing care of Tina and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Everything went perfectly, and Tina was happy and well cared for. We highly recommend her and will definitely choose her again in the future. Thank you so much!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my Maine Coon cat, Sophie for 8 days under the care of Julie. She came daily for 30 minutes to our home to feed Sophie, clean her litter box, brush her and play with her. Julie always sent me updated pictures of Sophie and described how sweet she was. Julie truly connected with her and gave her the love and attention Sophie needed. I will definitely use her again when I go out of town and I recommend her to future clients.”

“Amber is incredibly punctual and has such a way with my animals - I am so grateful we found her and will be using her every time there is a need for outstanding pet sitting! It’s so reassuring to know they’re in such good hands.”

About: I’ve always been a huge dog lover and grew up with family dogs! Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’, neighbors’, and clients’ pups, including walks, feeding, playtime, overnight stays, baths, and administering medication. I have a pup of my own too, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog. I’ll make sure they get lots of love, attention, walks, and cuddles while you’re away! I work full time remote job, and am more than happy to swing by before, during or after work to help out when it’s needed! I do have my own dog who is super friendly and loves to play! She is a beagle mix, so she loves her sniff walks and going to the neighborhood dog park to get her zoomies out.
“Having Diana take care of our cat Java gave us piece of mind while on vacation. I love all the daily updates and photos!! It was our first time using Rover and having Diana care for Java, we will definitely use again! Thank you”

“Sarah was incredible! She took such good care of our elderly dog and two special needs cats. One of our cats, who is typically terrified and hides from anyone outside our family and takes forever to be comfortable with strangers, warmed up to her within a day or so! We will definitely use her again!”

“Catherine was amazing and took great care of our sick pup while we had to go out of town. She was extremely communicative and informative while we were gone - 10/10 recommend”
About: I’ve taken care of multiple breeds, varying from small breeds like shitzus to bigger breeds like German Shepard’s. My friends & families have trusted me to do the following: bathing, walking, playing, feeding, giving meds, and snuggling with their fur-babies! I am currently working full time as a pediatric therapist but due to my schedule I can be flexible with helping out most days! I’d love to help when possible! I am more than happy to come to you or bring the dog to my home! At my house I have a spacious yard with a new fence so they can run and play! I also have a sweet and friendly cocker spaniel that could play with your pup if allowed! I follow any rules the client may have when it comes to pet care. Such as crating, leash outside, on/off furniture, etc. I will treat these animals like they are my own and do what is necessary to keep them safe and happy!
“Julie is incredible! We recently had her take care of our three dogs and a cat. She was timely, detailed, and compassionate. She even went out of her way to water our plants and grab our mail. If you want someone reliable and trustworthy, Julie is a great fit for your pet needs.”

“Morgan was great at jumping in last minute when my other person fell through! My dogs seemed to take well and things went smoothly. Appreciated the communication and updates!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
