About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around them and have years of hands-on experience caring for them, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also looked after animals for family, friends, and others, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind by providing dependable, attentive, and compassionate care every time. What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and dedication I have for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling and plenty of attention throughout the day. My schedule gives me the ability to accommodate your pet’s routine! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I will care for your pet with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to ensure they receive the best possible care.
“Jessica was an amazing cat sitter! She was very attentive to the cats; Cinnamon loved her so much. She sent pictures of our cats and left report cards after each visit. We also really appreciated her quickly informing us that we had an ant problem. Thanks to her, we were able to address the issue while we were away. Thank you!”

“The only reason why you should not choose Stacie is so that I can have her all to myself! She has been such a help to me this week. I have a 10 week old puppy and getting her to do a drop in visit was easy and reliable. Even though we never had a chance to have a preliminary meet-up, I could trust her in my home and with my little wiggly pup”
“Catherine was a great Baby - sitter! She is flexible and cheerful if changes to the upcoming schedule need to be made. Baby is normally shy but Catherine played with her and petted her often. Thanks for a great experience!”

“I would definitely recommend using Jared and his wife Ly to anyone, anytime. The care for my cat crew was above and beyond. The best drop in Rovers to date!”

“Julie is incredible! We recently had her take care of our three dogs and a cat. She was timely, detailed, and compassionate. She even went out of her way to water our plants and grab our mail. If you want someone reliable and trustworthy, Julie is a great fit for your pet needs.”

“Jennifer did a wonderful job with Otis. This was our longest trip leaving him for ten days. She was very attentive to all his needs and came twice a day to feed him, water him and check out his overall wellbeing. Towards the end of our trip, Otis played around the pool to hard one day and burned his paws. Jennifer notified me and went and got paw wax and administered it to his feet to comfort him. What a great sitter. I will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much for taking care of Otis.”

About: I’ve been taking care of all types of animals from dogs, cats, etc. I love looking after and spending time with all animals! I would love to get to spend time with even more furry friends. I currently have a part time job working about 3 days a week do I would love to start taking care of and walking dogs on my days off! I currently care for my own dog and two cats. I feed them, keep their water fresh, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have a clean, safe, and loving home. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy.
About: I used to work at daycare with all kinds of dogs and cats including seniors. I have a big passion for animals and know how to administer medication if needed. I’ve helped out family and friends with their pets including feeding, potty breaks, playing outside with them, etc. I used to work part-time at doggy daycare but now at Food Lion, so I can spend time with your furbabies. I’m also in school for vet tech but I make time for the babies always! For clients, I usually stick to schedule with their feeding, potty breaks, etc. I like to keep their food and water bowls clean every time to prevent them from being sick. I take them outside for potty breaks and play with for about 30-40 minutes unless it’s too hot or cold. I also like to keep the owner updated on how their pets are doing and send pictures.
About: Since having my first dog for a pet, in 1982 -- and cherishing borrowed time with five more canines each taking their turn as MVPs and forever memorialized in my family's hall of fame, through 2023 -- I have been convinced that dogs possess an unconditional dedication and friendship that almost no person on Earth can match. Dog walking has been a way of life, and an ultimate pastime, by my wife and me taking favorite routes and paths in an array of places. Clipping our dogs' nails, and brushing their teeth, also have been regular duties I embrace for them. Our pet family also includes a gray cockatiel who joined us in 2013, and three 5.5-gallon aquariums: one with three tetras, and two others each with a dwarf gourami, who each come to the front of the tank when we talk aloud to say hello. Another pastime of mine has entailed horseback riding, for the past 20 years, and since 2017, lessons in the saddle on draft horses -- where I do some of my best reflection. Retired from nearly a quarter-century as a writer and editor in the daily newspaper industry -- and having met and interviewed so many special people -- each of whom taught me something about the way of the world -- I have plenty of part-time availability to provide TLC daily. Every dog is more than a pet, but a family member, with his or her own special personality. Like people, no two are alike -- and meeting every dog -- an apple in someone's eye -- is an honor. Following every client's direction to a T is the only formula I follow. Each dog has different needs and timing, and I fully respect that. Having worked part time in security across a city convention center and in maintaining private, HOA community swimming pools, my radar never dims, either, on keeping an eagle eye on all premises.
“Courtney took such great care of our dog while we were gone. She made sure to give her special attention. Our dog looked forward to days that she got to play with Courtney.”

“Ashley cared for my two cats over the holidays, and our scaredy-cat was comfortable with Ashley enough to come out for pets. This is very rare as he will often hide for days on end if visitors come by the house.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mauldin
We had a wonderful experience with her! She took amazing care of Tina and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Everything went perfectly, and Tina was happy and well cared for. We highly recommend her and will definitely choose her again in the future. Thank you so much!

Jessica has been wonderful with Bella and Bindi. She’s always on time and plays with them, takes them on a walk, gives them treats and makes sure their water and food bowls are full. At first I was worried because I’ve never left my girls alone with an in-home sitter, but I felt so comfortable with Jessica and knew she would take great care of my girls. I will definitely ask her to take care of them in the future.

Courtney was the absolute best! She was a life saver, saving the day when we needed a sitter in less than a days notice. She took excellent care of my sweet pup, and my cats seemed to love her as well! You can’t go wrong hiring Courtney, and she definitely has repeat customers in us! Highly recommend

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
