What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and care I bring to every dog I meet. I see each pet as an individual with their own personality and needs, and I make it my priority to make them feel safe, happy, and loved—just like they would at home. I have two sweet rescue dogs of my own who are incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs. Living with them has taught me so much about patience, trust-building, and how to read a dog’s body language. It’s also given me real experience in creating a calm, playful, and secure environment, especially for dogs who may be shy, energetic, or still adjusting to new surroundings. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for walks, or simply being a calming presence, I put my heart into giving every pup the attention and affection they deserve. You can feel confident that your dog will be treated with kindness, respect, and lots of love while they’re with me.

Karen was great about sending updates and photos of Luna. In the photos, it was clear that Luna was relaxed and comfortable. We appreciated knowing that she felt like she was in a safe and comfortable environment.
Karen was a great sitter. She sent lots of videos and updates throughout our dog's stay. Alfie played alot with her dogs and he had a great time.
Karen is a wonderful sitter! Finn absolutely loved going. He has been there twice now and she is great about sending fun pictures and videos to know he was doing well. She is very responsive and overall had a great experience using her to watch Finn.

Schedule
I work from home about 12 hours a week, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to fully focus on caring for dogs. My schedule allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day—whether that means extra potty breaks, playtime, or just keeping a close eye on your pup to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Because I’m home most of the day, I can easily adapt to each dog’s routine and needs. Whether your dog requires a little extra care, more frequent walks, or simply loves companionship, I’m here to provide a calm, loving environment with lots of one-on-one time.

At home, we follow a balanced routine that includes a mix of long and short walks throughout the day to keep dogs active and happy. I also have access to a dog park in the apartment complex, which is great for safe playtime and socializing in a controlled environment. I live with my boyfriend, and while I’m the primary caregiver during the day, he also helps out with the dogs in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We both love spending time with animals, and your pup will receive plenty of attention, love, and care from the two of us throughout their stay. Inside, I love incorporating little training moments during the day to encourage good behavior—like practicing “sit,” “wait,” or calm greetings. It keeps their minds engaged and helps create a positive, structured environment. If your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable having their own space, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I can provide crate time for rest, routine, or safety—whatever works best for your pup’s needs. Overall, I aim to create a peaceful, enriching, and loving home where every dog can feel secure and cared for.

A typical day
I love to keep your dog mentally and physically engaged throughout the day. We’ll go on walks to explore the neighborhood, specially along the swamp rabbit trail which is next to my apartment complex and play fun games like fetch or tug indoors. I also like to include small training moments using positive reinforcement to build trust and keep them sharp. There’s always time for snuggles and naps too, so your pup feels safe and loved!
