About: Me and my husband David have both grown up with dogs our whole lives. I always had labradors in my family while he had golden retrievers. David’s dog Maggie lived to be 15 so he has great experience with senior care. I volunteered at a shelter and dog sat for our neighbors throughout high school. I also helped trained our two dogs as puppies, and we have cared for dogs as big as 110lbs to as little as 5lb. I am working part time with a baby due this August so my hours are decreasing as well. My husband is working a flexible remote job, so there is lots of time to play with and care for your pup. We are both early risers and am at home most weekends but occasionally away with travel. I am in a very pet friendly neighborhood with a large fenced in backyard. I am a mile away from a large park with two big, open fields, so your pup has plenty of places to run around.

About: While I may be newer to professional pet sitting, I have experience caring for dogs for friends and coworkers and have enjoyed getting to know each dog’s unique personality and routine. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, attention, and love I would want for my own. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and will make sure they get plenty of care, attention, potty breaks, and love while you’re away. 🐾 I work a full-time Monday–Friday schedule and typically get off around 4 PM. I’m available for pet care in the evenings during the week and have full availability on weekends. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide plenty of attention, care, and companionship when I’m available. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly apartment with access to a dog park, so your pet will have a comfortable place to relax and play. While I don’t have a private yard, I can provide regular potty breaks and walks and use the dog park for supervised play when appropriate. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay.

About: I currently have two small dogs, but I have had big dogs and cats in the past! I also foster dogs, so I am used to helping unfamiliar animals feel comfortable with a new person! I am a college student home for summer, so I have plenty of room in my schedule to make sure your pets feel loved and attended to! I love cuddly animals, but I also will play with a more energetic pet! I follow clear, written instructions very well and pay attention to important details to fit each pet's needs.
“Gregory and his son are excellent at what they do! They were great with our senior dog and our energetic younger dog! They stayed to play with them outside when the weather was nice, and even came by late at night for our senior dog to have an extra trip to potty! Highly recommend!”

I love animals and have a black lab of my own who is super sweet and friendly with all pups. I live in a gated apartment with plenty of places to walk and play including a fenced in dog park. “Rebecca was wonderful! She came to meet my dogs before her visit, kept me updated throughout, and provided great feedback so I knew while I was gone that they were doing just fine. My dogs were happy and content when I got back home, and we will be happy to be able to book Rebecca for future visits. Highly recommend.”
“She was Tony, the Tiger great (do you remember Tony the Tiger Kellogg’s crispy flakes) she was very informative sending pictures of her acclimating to my animal friend. I trust her implicitly.”

About: I’ve taken care of young animals to senior animals, all of them I treat the same with my love equally! I have had animals in my life ever since I was born and they carry a big spot in my heart, because they also carry a spot in their heart for us. I’m currently working from home half of the week and the other half is only a few hours in office, and my hours are very flexible and so I will be with your animals and be there for all the cuddles, walks, play times or whatever your animal loves! I have many years of experience pet sitting in other peoples home. I respect that it is your space and treat it with care and leave everything the way it was or even cleaner! So you can come home from vacation or traveling to a nice, clean house!
About: I have never met an animal I did not love. My mom likes to say that I’ve always loved animals. She remembers me trying to jump out of her arms, before I could even walk, in order to pet a nearby dog. I am a 32 years old and originally from Minnesota. I grew up taking care of a miniature schnauzer named Oreo, who was a wonderful family companion. I had a pet ferret for 6 years named Swarley, who I alone cared for. I have cared for friends and previous roommate’s dogs, fish, cats, rabbits, and rats. I’ve also cared for all kinds of reptiles and amphibians when working at nature centers for 3 years. I have also cared for a neighbors goats and am comfortable around farm animals. I now have a super sweet 8 year old rescue dog named Primrose. She typically comes along with me when I am pet sitting. She is an excellent houseguest- quiet, chill, and loves other dogs and people. If I am lucky enough to get to care for your pet, I will give all of my attention to them and provide the very best care possible. I hope to hear from you soon! I can work around your schedule. Let me know what works best for you. I hope we can work together to get your pets the care they need! I am careful to make sure sneaky pets are unable to escape when I come in and out of doors. I always put a leash and collar on any pet before taking them outdoors. I'm used to and meticulous about keeping medications and food out of reach for pets. I am highly engaged with the pets I am watching and observe for any small signs of stress or health issues. I would call you immediately if I noticed something was wrong or off with your pet and I am totally willing to call your veterinarian or take them to an emergency veterinarian, if ever necessary. I can administer medications and make special diets, if requested.

Brittany was extremely attentive and made sure to take care of everything that our two dogs and two cats needed and went above and beyond to make sure our pets were happy. This was our first time using a pet sitter and she has made it a great experience, we would be more than happy to book with her again!

Whenever we need a dog sitter, we always book Lauren. We have rebooked her and recommended her to others. She has taken care of all our dogs and a part of our family now. Dexter and Scout love her to pieces. She spends so much time w them playing and making sure that they get lots of love while we are away. She gives us peace of mind w her frequent photos and updates. Thank you Lauren!

This is my third time using Palina to care for Luna, and once again she did an amazing job. It’s such a relief knowing Luna is in good hands whenever I’m away. Palina is dependable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she watches. Luna always comes home happy, well cared for, and comfortable, which gives me complete peace of mind. I truly appreciate the attention and care she provides every time. I highly recommend Palina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Erin was fantastic watching our dogs while we were away for the holidays. She has so much experience and knowledge with all breeds. She asked all the right questions to make sure they would be comfortable and taken care of. She is communicative and so friendly. Our dogs were well taken care of and were felt comfortable being away knowing they were in great hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Taylors with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
