About: My name is Sarah, and I have recently moved to South Carolina from the UK with my family and my beloved 10 year old cat Vader. Although I have never owned a dog I have cared for friends and family members dogs in the past. I enjoy taking them on walks and playing with them ensuring that they get the exercise and stimulation that they need and lots of cuddles for they ones that want it. I have a very flexible schedule and would love to care for your fur babies. I am retired so my schedule is flexible. I don't mind making multiple visits within a day. About: I have always had a love for animals from a very young age. I started pet sitting in my neighborhood when I was 13 and did so until I was 16 when my family moved away. Since college, I have been on and off pet sitting for friends and coworkers. Since 2016 I have been working in the Veterinary field as a Vet Assistant/Vet Tech. If your pet needs more than that, I will do my best to accommodate. Each visit will be filled with lots of play time and pets! I think that pet sitting with home visits is a great option for pets because they are left in the comfort of their own home instead of being stressed in a boarding facility. I will strive to keep your pets comfortable and happy! Due to the fact that I work full time, please be patient with response times. We often have surgeries on a daily basis and I’m unable to check my phone. I currently work full time, but am able to do drop-ins before and after work. As of right now, I am completely free on the weekends. I don’t care for pets in my home. I apologize. My work schedule and home environment do not allow for me to keep other animals in my home.

I am very understand of their needs, routines, and energy levels. I also have experience with PMR style raw feeding and am happy to follow your dog’s specific feeding instructions closely. My home is set up with pets in mind. I have a decent sized yard for outdoor time, along with a doggy door for easy access to potty breaks. The doggy door can be closed if needed. My yard is fully fenced with a 4 foot fence and secure latching gates, so it is a good enclosure but we will go over the height when you get here. Inside the home, dogs are welcome on the couches right alongside the humans. They are also allowed on the beds as we have 3 bedrooms and they can choose where they want to stay at night so they are completely comfortable. I am comfortable administering oral medications and following care instructions for pets who need extra support, including seniors, although I do not offer injectable medications. But if that is necessary we will discuss that further. To ensure each pet gets plenty of attention and personalized care, I host a maximum of 2 to 3 dogs at a time from different homes depending on how well they get along, or 3 to 4 from the same home. If you dog does not get along with others please inform me that you need your dog to be the only one in my home during stay and I will plan accordingly. My goal is to provide a calm, loving, home away from home where your pet feels safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while you are away. I truly love dogs and use positive reinforcement to create a safe, comforting environment that helps ease the stress of being away from their humans. I currently work at home and do not need to leave very often. My work is mostly hands off so most of my attention can go to the dogs needs. I will also be able to walk them often if weather permits. My yard is great for running around and I will go out there and play with them a few times a day. I am bonded and insured beyond Rover's insurance alone with Pet Care Insurance. I will offer a loving greeting and give them what they need when their family is gone. I will be able to administer medicine if necessary. I will be able to stay for a while at their home but I prefer the to come to my home as it will be easier for me to make sure they are well cared for. Diana looked after my senior dog with great attention and exercise on midday walks. She used the app which told me when the walks started snd ended, the route, time, and distance.
