“Deborah was available for a same-day request & communicated well! She sent several pictures from the walks. I would use her again in the future if Winter needs another walk while I’m away.”

“Jay has been absolutely excellent with our puppy. He is extremely reliable, courteous, and prompt with communication. I cannot recommend him enough to any fellow pet owners! Thanks, Jay!”

About: I have detailed experience with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant and have a deep passion for animal welfare. I would say my specialty is senior dogs and large breeds (I have a 12 year old Great Dane, a 5 year old Great Dane, and a 7 year old German Shepherd). I also have great experience with cats and have raised many motherless kittens in my years! I'm a stay-at-home mother, so I can care for your pets during school hours! I would also have availability in the evening hours most days! Whether you need someone to walk your dog several times a day, check in on your pet and give them food/water, administer medication at a specific time, sit and play in those crucial first few months of a puppy's life, or be with your senior dog when you're not home so they don't feel alone, I can do whatever you and your pet need to make their life better and your life easier.
“Jessica has been a wonderful care taker for our golden retriever! She takes her on walks around the neighborhood and sends us great updates while we are at work so we know she is doing great!”

“I wish I could tip more! Both times she has taken great care of Butler. She’s done all that we’ve asked and more! She’s a great photographer also. Always has great pictures of their time together.”

About: My love for animals started young, as I grew up in an household full of pets and maintained responsibilities including feeding, potty care, and daily head scratches / cuddles. For over 10 years, I regularly provided full daily care with walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention! I treat every pet like they’re my own and understand how important it is to feel confident that your animal is in reliable, attentive hands. I’m currently an online student with no fixed classes, so I have ample time and energy to spend time with your furry friend! Available Monday-Sunday. I will follow any owner’s instructions on how best to care for their furry friend in their home! Happy to play in a backyard, take them on walks, or hang out in the home.
About: When my rescue dog Honey came into my life, I had to learn a lot about loving reactive dogs! I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust to care for a difficult dog when you need it. Please note that all rates on Rover are my base rates. After a meet and greet where we discuss your dog's needs, any rates may be increased accordingly with services required. For overnight stays with high anxiety, very high energy, or other cases that require specialized care, expect at least $50 per night for a single dog. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate almost anything! I would prefer 2 days notice, but I understand life can change quickly and your pup still needs care. I will do my best with same day requests but cannot offer a guarantee. With my own dog at home, I cannot offer boarding, but I am more than happy to come see your dog in their home environment. I am happy to do drop ins or walks for homes with cats, however I cannot stay overnight in homes with cats due to allergies.
“Harriette was great with my very sensitive, very vocal pomchi! I received updates and she did everything I asked her to do. I’m extremely picky with my baby and I felt confident with him in her care. Will book again and again!”

“I couldn’t imagine a better dog sitter than Alyssa! She obviously loves dogs, is so nice and experienced. Gave our dog lots of activity and great care. Alyssa was absolutely excellent!!!”

“Helen was great! She took great care of my dog and my parent's energetic dog. She took them for walks and hung out with them inside for a little while before she left because it was so hot out. Helen also made sure they had a full water bowl before she left. Will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

About: Former pro volleyball player, experienced pet owner & sitter for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m ready to burn lots of energy and shower your pets with love. I can even teach some commands (sit, stay, down, come). I am open to care for pets at any time of the day, morning or night. I am willing to take on special accommodations so please message me with requests if so. I believe in leaving things cleaner than I found it. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable, safe and anxiety-free at all times. I will always send a pic of your fur baby each visit as I depart and description of our interaction. Professionalism is the floor and I aim to hit the ceiling.
“Steph was wonderful! Our dog is a rescue and has a lot of anxiety and he did so well with her. She was really flexible and great to communicate with. Very dependable. We highly recommend her!”

Gantt dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jana has been an amazing walker for my dog, Rebel, who is both blind and dog aggressive. She communicates clearly and sends great updates and photos after every walk, which gives me real peace of mind. Rebel absolutely loves her and her sweet daughter. He returns home happy and relaxed. I really appreciate how she follows my instructions and treats Rebel like her own dog. I will definitely keep booking Jana and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog walker.

My regular pet sitter was out for several weeks, and I needed to find a temporary sitter— Chaniel was awesome! My black lab (older a quite stubborn!) did great on daily walks with Chaniel. She is great at communication and always kept me updated with pictures. Will definitely ask her to care for Charlie next time the need arises!
Alyssa was a wonderful Dog Walker for our very active dog, Ginger. She was attentive to details and was great with knowing what to do after asking a few questions. She took the time to warm up to her and a great job with taking pictures and letting us know how the walk went. We’ll definitely be using Alyssa again!

This was our first experience using Rover and couldn't have been more pleased with Megan. Our little guy seemed to love her and she sent pictures during each of her walks with him. She was super responsive to texts and I felt completely comfortable leaving for the day knowing she was coming to walk him and check in on him several times. Will definitely use her again if we ever come back to Greenville!
