About: Hi, my name is Kelly. I just moved here from New Mexico. I am a lover of all animals, big and small, fluffy and scaly and everything in-between. I worked part time for Animal Humane New Mexico. I helped in adoptions, animal care, behavior and training. While at Animal Humane I received my Fear Free Shelter Certificate. As well as animal care training in administering medications, vaccines and taking care of animals that are sick or have behavior issues. I volunteer walking dogs at the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department. I foster for AWD kittens, puppies, rabbits, senior cats and dogs, and help work with animals with behavior issues! About: I have a companion of my own, tenji, and I use to have a beautiful pitty, so I understand how hard it may be to find a trustworthy pet sitters who will take good care of your furry friends. But have trust in me and my little home to look after your furry buddies while you work, go to important meetings or spend the day to yourself, either or, so I hope to see new faces! I currently working part time, but my boyfriend, who has experience in rover as well, will be home, when I’m not around, as he works morning and I work nights, a perfect balance to make sure your friends aren’t alone day and night. When it comes to having a new introductions I would separate or cage them and allow them to get to know each other and get use to each others presences, I had no issues in the past doing so and it leaves dogs who have not socialized before, leave with new friends and a busy day of playing
About: I’ve owned big and small dogs! From a pit bull to a terrier. Took care of my susy girl for 10 years, she was diabetic so i am experienced with medication and injections. I am a student and work full time in the afternoons but I am free every Thursday and Fridays! and Sunday to Wednesday from 11-2pm. I can drop by or dog sit. About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

About: When my rescue dog Honey came into my life, I had to learn a lot about loving reactive dogs! I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust to care for a difficult dog when you need it. Please note that all rates on Rover are my base rates. After a meet and greet where we discuss your dog's needs, any rates may be increased accordingly with services required. For overnight stays with high anxiety, very high energy, or other cases that require specialized care, expect at least $50 per night for a single dog. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate almost anything! I would prefer 2 days notice, but I understand life can change quickly and your pup still needs care. I will do my best with same day requests but cannot offer a guarantee. With my own dog at home, I cannot offer boarding, but I am more than happy to come see your dog in their home environment. I am happy to do drop ins or walks for homes with cats, however I cannot stay overnight in homes with cats due to allergies.

“Raquel hosted my 16.5 year old Russian Blue cat named Jack for 2 weeks. She texted a brief, daily update in the morning and evening about eating, drinking, and medicine intake along with several pictures of lounging, playing, and even brushing! When Jack got home, he settled instantly back into his routine and usual social activity which tells me he was happy during the stay with Raquel. Jack stayed in a bedroom of his own with supplies and blankets we packed from home. Raquel assured me it was very quiet and calm in her house even if other pets are also staying with her, but in separated rooms and spaces. She played and cuddled with him daily (or tried to with a 16.5 year old cat). The supplies and blankets were cleaned and returned at the end of his stay. I will book Jack for future stays since everything went so well!”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, cows so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. Pet care fits really easily into my routine.
