Thankfully, Tanya was available. This was the first time I've used this sort of service at all, and I was a little doubtful/apprehensive. We scheduled a meet and greet, and my nerves were calmed after meeting Tanya. She has a nice personality and understood my situation. My cat has an automatic feeder, but I needed someone to check in on Nala, clean the litter box and change the two water bowls. Just as importantly, I really needed someone to spend some time with Nala so she had some human interaction while I was gone. Tanya did all of the above and it made me feel less worried when I got the updates about how well Nala was doing. Tanya cleaned up after Nala and took the litter trash, which I wasn't expecting! About: I have had cats omnipresent since I was born. “Lookout for a cat and a cat will lookout for you!” But let’s be real, if the high lord deems me worthy of taken care of them while their primary human is on vacation,is the deciding factor, if this job is happening or not. I understand that I can’t be every cats favorite and should it not be the case, then I am willing to try and do my best to gain trust to take care for a short period of time. About: After my dad's cat passed away when I was a child, I convinced my parents to let us adopt a white cat who kept appearing on our back porch. We named him Sam and he and the dog became pals. He didn't scratch me nearly as much as my dad's black cat, Stashy used to. A recent cat sitting client required a thyroid medicine cream to be applied to the inside of her ears. She was not into it, so I had to be sneaky. I allow cats to show me how and when they want to be touched and how and when they don't. Playtime with lasers, boxes, paper bags, and rotating crinkly, feathered, bouncy, stretchy, and fuzzy toys is a joy :-)

About: I have a companion of my own, tenji, and I use to have a beautiful pitty, so I understand how hard it may be to find a trustworthy pet sitters who will take good care of your furry friends. But have trust in me and my little home to look after your furry buddies while you work, go to important meetings or spend the day to yourself, either or, so I hope to see new faces! I currently working part time, but my boyfriend, who has experience in rover as well, will be home, when I’m not around, as he works morning and I work nights, a perfect balance to make sure your friends aren’t alone day and night. When it comes to having a new introductions I would separate or cage them and allow them to get to know each other and get use to each others presences, I had no issues in the past doing so and it leaves dogs who have not socialized before, leave with new friends and a busy day of playing

About: I have lived my whole like with dogs and have learned to properly take care of them. I live with my dog and he is a cuddly and friendly dog. He has taught me well on how to give dogs affection and I think that’s my strong suit! My dog now has bad allergies and frequent medical issues, so I’m well versed in specialized care and treatment as well. I understand leaving your pet with someone can be difficult, and I want to make sure you know the love and care I will give to your fur babies! , I take care of my dog (yellow lab) 24/7 by feeding, caring, bathing him, etc. I always am able to get stay on top of his needs and learn his different body cues. My lab also has medical issues, such as yeast and severe allergies which I do give him medication and provide physical relief through prevention and replacing his biting of himself to me petting the area. Before I do anything that I’m not certain of I will communicate before hand. I am good with household tasks such as cleaning!
About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.

About: I am an animal lover through and through. I have training experience with puppies, as long as senior pups. I love playing with high energy fur babies, but also know how scary or overwhelming it could be meeting a new human so I am also empathetic to those maybe a little more timid. About: I grew up on a small farm, so have been taking care of animals essentially since birth. I have had anything from dogs and cats, to horses and chickens. All dogs and cats have been inside animals, with a good many of them being rescued or fostered. I am currently a self employed stay at home ceramic artist. I have two loving and spoiled miniature schnauzers, who are 5 and 6 years old. They spend every waking moment with me, even having their own space while I work. I have two friendly and non reactive miniature schnauzers. Dog safe, fenced in yard with security cameras in every corner. Daily walks around West Village, when the pavement temperature allows. I am home 99% of the time, but dogs are crated when I need to run errands, both for their safety and peace of mind.
About: I’ve been the primary care taker for family dogs since the age of 7. I focus on proper nutrition and activity, supplemented by extraordinary love and affection for all animals; though dogs tend to get a little more :) Flexible work hours allow me to care for your dogs at odd hours of the day, and can often make special trips if need be. Set schedules are ideal, but flexible caring is not out of the question! I work from home during the weekends and would be able to provide care during those times as well. About: I am passionate for dogs, I find there loyalty and love that they give to us is amazing! I love children but never had any, so therefore doggies have always been my babies. I first got my first two chihuahuas about 28 years ago and haven’t been without a furry angel. I would't have any other way-doggies are smart and just amazingly fun. Certainly, they deserve the best possible love and care one can provide, and I love to care and give. That in itself, makes me joyful! I’m a self employed fine artist, so I’m fairly flexible. Other than the gym, appointments,etc, - normal errands. That is pretty much the current extent of my schedule. I travel from time to time, but not regularly.so I am at home a lot. I have a small harmless chihuahua ,”Lilly “, so it’s just her and me. I always am well aware of where the doggies are, inside and outside. They always have water and food if necessary, according to the client’s wishes. That, is primary for me, making certain I am abiding by the client’s needs and requests, while simply using common sense. I’m good at finding a resolution to any situation, if there was one, and being prepared ahead of time. Even just for the simple things. I am an Airforce veteran and just love doing good things for others. For I know, for my Lilly, I make sure if she can’t travel with me, she goes to a “pet resort” or I also use Rover. I have a decent size yard with room to play and I don’t mind if they want to lay on the couch or bed, however they feel comfortable and happy. I also know that doggies can get emotional when their parents drop them off. Lilly gets all kinds of emotions when I have to leave her. These precious 4-leggers are smart too!
About: I grew up with animals (cats and dogs) and have rescued my animals i have now (Cece 10yo and Jojo <1yo). I watch my sister’s and friends’ pups when they’re out of town, give them the care and love they need and play with them outside. I’m currently taking time off work and am focusing on self care and helping my husband with his business, so I’m very flexible. I go to a few classes at my gym and yoga studio throughout the week but I can easily work around that! We have a fenced in yard and always keep eyes on her or go outside with her. We have a routines of breakfast (Cece and Joe getting their first serving for the day), snack time (Cece getting a treat and Joe getting more food) and dinner (Cece and Joe getting last serving). Cece and Jojo both have meds that go along with their food times. They get plenty of love and play time throughout the day.

About: I’ve had pets all my life. The last 15 years have been with my sweet foxhound, Lego and for 4 of those with my laid back Bombay cat, Ivy. I’m a recent empty nester looking to put extra time to good use by caring for others’ loved pets. I work full time from home, and have a doggie door to my back yard that my work space overlooks. I like to take breaks and walk myself, so having a companion during those breaks would be great! I have a large fenced in yard and easy access from my kitchen. I also work from home and am able to go outside or walk pets as needed.

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life and I absolutely love all animals. I live near a beautiful park where I could take the dog or dogs to play! I also have a nice backyard! I currently work from home so my availability is open! I am fully devoted to your dogs care and you can expect nothing but the best! I have a backyard where the dogs could play and I also live by a very nice park. Inside my home we will snuggle and play all day!
About: I have lived my whole like with dogs and have learned to properly take care of them. I live with my dog and he is a cuddly and friendly dog. He has taught me well on how to give dogs affection and I think that’s my strong suit! My dog now has bad allergies and frequent medical issues, so I’m well versed in specialized care and treatment as well. I understand leaving your pet with someone can be difficult, and I want to make sure you know the love and care I will give to your fur babies! , I take care of my dog (yellow lab) 24/7 by feeding, caring, bathing him, etc. I always am able to get stay on top of his needs and learn his different body cues. My lab also has medical issues, such as yeast and severe allergies which I do give him medication and provide physical relief through prevention and replacing his biting of himself to me petting the area. I also care for my mom’s dog (boxer mix) when they’re busy or at work. He is very energetic so for him I try to keep engaged. I will follow the instructions from the owner first! Before I do anything that I’m not certain of I will communicate before hand. I am good with household tasks such as cleaning!
About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.
