We got up dates and pictures a couple times a day as to how George was adjusting as he has never been left alone before. To have him in his own environment with all "his" things to keep him company was great! WE left instructions for Sara as to what when and where he ate, his likes and dislikes, his likes and what not! He was such a happy boy when we got home. All thanks to Sara treating him like her own. She stayed at our home to keep him company as well which, probably made George feel much safer. About: I have experience with pets of all ages and needs: puppies and kittens, seniors, special needs (the Great Dane in my pics is blind lol, she’s the best), and will do everything in my power to make sure your pets are loved and well cared for. I’m big on open communication so I will send pics and updates throughout my time with your pets! My only current obligation is from 9 AM to noon on weekdays, so my availability is very open! I have my own reliable transportation :) We live in a house with a fully fenced in yard so you can have peace of mind that your pup will be safe with us. We currently have two dogs and often have dog friends from church staying with us, so they aren’t strangers to sharing their space and are comfortable with it! My cattle dog has daily brain games and challenges to keep him entertained, and I am more than happy to do that with your pup!

“Mehlayne did a wonderful job of caring for our sweet old Roxy. Our pup is 16 years old, has medical needs such as breathing treatments and medication administration and she even took Roxy to the Vet 4 times for routine fluid administration. While we are away for our 13 day vacation to Alaska, she sent daily pictures of our sweet little girl and messages regarding her day. Considering that Roxy had never been apart from us for more than 3 days, we were very pleased when we returned and she was in excellent health and eating very well, which could be a challenge at times. I could tell from the beginning that they were a good fit, especially since Melanie has a very elderly dog herself. We will be happy to book her again if needed and recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone to care for their pup.”

About: I'm a cat enthusiast! I would love to operate a cat sanctuary one day. I've been caring for animals almost my entire life and currently have two cats (ages 9 & 2.5) and one dog of my own (age 12). I will show your babies nothing but love (including your dogs!!). I know how hard it can be to trust others with your fur babies but I promise to take great care of them. I currently work full-time (9am-5:30pm M-F) from home and am able to make stops before and after work. I have most weekends free and am flexible for whatever care you need. I will follow whatever instructions you have for caring for your pets. If in my home, I do have a fenced in yard to make it easier for dogs to run around and use the bathroom. I have an extra room/office space to keep cats separate from my own. I currently have a feeding schedule for my own pets (morning & evening). I ensure my cats have a clean litterbox by scooping every morning and night. I take my dog out every few hours during the day for potty breaks and try and go on at least one walk a day. I love to walk so it's often more than once a day. We keep lots of toys in the home and I try and play with them a couple times a day if not more.

Julie is wonderful- excellent, positive communication; and my pets all loved her! My dog is selective and tends toward anxious: she liked Julie right away. My cat who needs meds twice a day is famous for eluding most cat sitters who dare try to medicate her - she took her meds from Julie. And my escape artist cat who had (or course) Houdini'd his way out of the house right before we left for our trip, came back in the house in voluntarily for Julie! We will definitely be seeking Julie's services every time we need a great petsitter.

Wesleigh did a wonderful job watching my dog, Waldo! She stayed at my house while I was away, which made the whole experience much less stressful for both of us. Waldo doesn’t like to be left without me, so I always worry about how he’ll do when I’m gone—but when I got home he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I could tell he really enjoyed Wesleigh’s company, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy a few carefree days away. It’s obvious she took great care of him and made sure he felt comfortable while I was gone. I would absolutely recommend Wesleigh to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and I’d happily book with her again!
