Ellen did great with our dogs and watching the house. She also got the mail and brought our packages inside. We did not have to stress while being gone, she did great!

Ellen was very responsible and she did a great job taking care of our two cats. I highly recommend her.

Ellen was fantastic with Dash. She kept us posted daily on how Dash was doing and sent pictures. She is very responsible and we felt comfortable leaving Dash with her!

Ellen is a very sweet girl.

Ellen stopped by and did a couple of home visits while I worked. It offered me great peace of mind knowing that they were being taken care of. My husband is out of town and it gets to be a very long day for them.

I would not recommend Ellen to anyone. I had to make an emergency trip to CT to say goodbye to my dying grandfather. Things went well in the booking/meet and greet phase. I left at 10:30am on a Friday and I let her know when I left. She didn’t get to my house until just about 8:00pm which was stressful for me. I wondered what was going on all day that kept her from coming to let them out and feed them. I have a security camera so thankfully I was able to keep an eye on things. She stayed overnight Friday and left early Saturday morning about 7:30am. Around 5pm on saturday I noticed she hadn’t been to the house at all. I tried texting & a while later, I attempted to call. I received no response. Around 7:30pm I was incredibly upset and worried. She had taken the key, and the only person who has my spare key was about an hour away. I called Rover customer service and they attempted to call her with no response too. I was 14 hours away by car, incredibly stressed with a dying family member and my husband deployed overseas. This was definitely not the type of stress I would wish on any dog owner in the world. Shortly before 8:30pm she finally showed up at my house. My dogs were left alone for almost 13 hours which devastated me. She apologized but it didn’t change the fact that they were left alone for SO long. When you’re paying for a service, especially for something as precious as your pups, you have an expectation of a certain level of care and responsibility. If something comes up, let the person know. Instead of keeping me in the loop, I was completely ignored. 13+ hours is a long time to expect a dog to hold it. Dogs get Uriniary Tract Infections and other complications from being unable to relieve themselves. It’s careless, irresponsible, and cruel to make them wait that long. As a dog lover, I cannot in good conscience recommend Ellen after what I experienced this weekend.
