The integrated him into their daily routine - he "supervised" work from his favorite cushion, played endless rounds of fetch with his teddy, and went on adventures to Unity Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. He even became walking buddies with their cat, Motley, and got to tag along for errands to Lowe's and road trip adventures. Strong communication. Pete sent daily updates with Christmas-card-worthy photos. When my dog ran just a couple of meals short on his specialty kibble, Pete went above and beyond by researching safe, poultry-free grocery store alternatives and picking them up seamlessly. They learned all his little quirks, from his morning routine of waking up for tummy rubs to snuggling under his blanket. I had total peace of mind and cannot recommend them highly enough!”

About: After my dad's cat passed away when I was a child, I convinced my parents to let us adopt a white cat who kept appearing on our back porch. We named him Sam and he and the dog became pals. He didn't scratch me nearly as much as my dad's black cat, Stashy used to. A recent cat sitting client required a thyroid medicine cream to be applied to the inside of her ears. She was not into it, so I had to be sneaky. I allow cats to show me how and when they want to be touched and how and when they don't. Playtime with lasers, boxes, paper bags, and rotating crinkly, feathered, bouncy, stretchy, and fuzzy toys is a joy :-)

About: We got our first cat six years ago when we found him on a street in Birmingham at four weeks of age. We got our second cat a year later in Charleston when I rescued him from my neighbor’s car. I have learned how amazing cats are and how wonderful they are different personalities are. About: I have lived my whole like with dogs and have learned to properly take care of them. I live with my dog and he is a cuddly and friendly dog. He has taught me well on how to give dogs affection and I think that’s my strong suit! My dog now has bad allergies and frequent medical issues, so I’m well versed in specialized care and treatment as well. I understand leaving your pet with someone can be difficult, and I want to make sure you know the love and care I will give to your fur babies! , I take care of my dog (yellow lab) 24/7 by feeding, caring, bathing him, etc. I always am able to get stay on top of his needs and learn his different body cues. My lab also has medical issues, such as yeast and severe allergies which I do give him medication and provide physical relief through prevention and replacing his biting of himself to me petting the area. I also care for my mom’s dog (boxer mix) when they’re busy or at work. He is very energetic so for him I try to keep engaged. I will follow the instructions from the owner first! Before I do anything that I’m not certain of I will communicate before hand. I am good with household tasks such as cleaning!
“Hannah was great. We needed someone to watch our large, high energy puppy and found Hannah. We wanted our dog to have the chance to play with another dog if possible, so she arranged for our pup to meet her dog prior to the stay. Hannah and Conan (her dog) were both awesome. She sent us updates and pics throughout the day of Charlie (our boy) playing the yard and with her dog, Conan. Hannah even walked Charlie to help get some of his energy out. About: I have an 11 year old rescued and very mellow plott hound dog. I have been watching friends dogs for over 5 years and have no issues with any type of dog in my past experiences. I work from home so I am able to take your dog to the bathroom and walks to unity park throughout the day. Your dog will be in good hands and it will be an enjoyable day for them I work from home and will have a relative easy way to drop off your pet. Your pet will go on at least 2 walks per day and go outside to the bathroom at least 3-4 times a day and more if needed. I have one dog and we will be in an apartment by ourselves. Have plenty of room for 1-2 additional dogs. I can communicate at mostly anytime of the day if any issues arise. Your pet will have a safe space inside and I do have an enclosed balcony if they would like to sunbathe.
About: I’ve had pets all my life. The last 15 years have been with my sweet foxhound, Lego and for 4 of those with my laid back Bombay cat, Ivy. About: I am an animal lover through and through. I have training experience with puppies, as long as senior pups. I love playing with high energy fur babies, but also know how scary or overwhelming it could be meeting a new human so I am also empathetic to those maybe a little more timid. About: I grew up with animals (cats and dogs) and have rescued my animals i have now (Cece 10yo and Jojo <1yo). I watch my sister’s and friends’ pups when they’re out of town, give them the care and love they need and play with them outside. I’m currently taking time off work and am focusing on self care and helping my husband with his business, so I’m very flexible. I go to a few classes at my gym and yoga studio throughout the week but I can easily work around that! We have a fenced in yard and always keep eyes on her or go outside with her. About: My love of dogs came when I was four years old. It took me only five years to convince my father that I could handle a dog and that was the beginning. I have always adopted from a shelter and have even adopted to re-home dogs who were to be euthanized. I currently have a Duck Tolling Retriever who likes to sleep more than play. She is my love but I want to be able to play with your lonely dog too! I joined Rover.com because I enjoy walking and playing with dogs on a regular basis. My professional experience includes working in a Vererinarian's office in high school and dog walking/sitting recently. I found my passion for animal care freshman year of college when doing volunteer work at a Seneca animal shelter. The vet and I still keep in touch to this day. I’ve adopted my fair share of dogs and cats, most being large breed and Siamese. Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, and Labrador Retrievers. About: Hi, I have been professionally pet-sitting and a dog mom for over twenty years. My family had dogs and cats from the time I was born. I helped care for newborn golden retriever puppies when my mom was a breeder when I was in middle school. I have experience with senior dogs with health challenges, including my sweet lab mix who lived to be 15 as well as a few pet sitting clients who have needed special attention. I love spending time with animals and celebrating life, sharing their joyful presence and pure, loving hearts. I'm delighted to brush, massage, administer meds, cuddle, walk, play ball, play hide-and-seek, run, and talk to your fur children. I have a gorgeous pit bull named Jade who vacations at my parents house when I am pet sitting in your home. I currently work up to six hour shifts at a restaurant. If your pets need breaks more often than that, I need a couple of weeks notice to make sure I can be off work. I am in transition from grad school to private practice as a marriage and family therapist, and I intend to pet sit as I gradually get my practice up and running and increase clients. I will continue to be available for in home pet sitting, staying at your home at least part time throughout the day. ***I do not smoke and am sensitive to strong chemical perfumes, so I will not bring anything like that into your environment. I can’t pet sit in smoking homes or homes that have mold, musty smells, or strong air freshener perfumes. These things are generally not an issue for short drop-in visits or walks.

About: I have grooming, training, & boarding experience. I’m experienced in administering medications; pills, eye drops, shots, etc. Animals are my peace so I’d love to give a peace of mind to others😊 I’m available full time, there are currently 6 dogs & 2 cats in my house & the pups get outside about 3-5 times a day depending on the weather. I also have a 3 year old whos with me 3 days out of the week. I have a fenced in yard, all of my pups & my sisters are crated when not supervised. I would prefer crates brought when staying with me just for safety reasons! & if I were to watch your pup in your hone they’d get the same love & care they receive from you😊
