Katherine took really good care of Ivy! She took her for a walk and played with her in the backyard and gave her lots of love. I also got lots of photos and updates during Ivy’s stay! I will be re-booking with Katherine and would recommend her to anyone :)

About: I bring a rare mix of professional veterinary experience and full-time, in-home care to every pet I watch. I spent eight years working at Cleveland Park East Animal Hospital, where I managed large boarding groups and assisted with medications, surgeries, and specialized care. That background allows me to confidently care for pets who need medical attention or extra support. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home all day so pets are never left alone and receive constant care and companionship. They also become part of our family, enjoying gentle love and attention from my children. Your pet would truly be part of our family! I am blessed to be a stay at home mother, so I am available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your pet would have constant care and attention from myself. They would also get to enjoy playing around our yard and porch and soak up all the extra cuddles. We have an outdoor cat, and we previously had our loving dog who passed away. We are used to having pets at home! While we do not have a fence, we have a grassy front yard and a large backyard with trees, grass, and even a creek. Our neighborhood boast 17 acres of natural space that include walking trails and a 3 acre pond. Your pet would love getting to go on unleashed walks with us throughout the day to explore all of these areas. As for our home, considering we have pets ourselves, our home is very pet friendly. Our cat prefers to explore outside during the day, but she absolutely loves dogs. Having lived with one for most of her life. We have baby gates to prevent dogs from going to the upstairs portion of our house, which leaves the entire downstairs for play, roaming, and resting.

We did our meet and greet last week with Jaylin and Charles and they were so kind and compassionate. Our sweet Oakley is a 6 month old rescue and super scared of people, noises and dogs. They made us feel so welcome. Today we took him back for his first daycare and she sent pictures of Charles hold him and him with another dog! I was so surprised that he opened up to them that quickly. You can tell their love of animals as soon as you meet them! Can't wait to have their help in socializing him and making him more confident and trusting. So glad we found them! Thanks to you both!

About: This is mine (Katy Snipes) and my husbands (Chad) account. We have had dogs and cats our whole life. We are comfortable with basic training and commands and love the old timers who need a little more TLC. We can’t wait to meet your fur babies. I (Katy) am currently a stay at home mom with my sweet first born son. I am very flexible during the week and would love to get on some walks with your pets. My husband offers available hands week day evenings as well as weekends. We have a fenced in back yard that our beagle loves to run around and play in. He is a spitfire when the energy is high, but can also lounge around the house when he knows it’s time to chill. We have a crate available if that is needed. However, our house is very pet friendly and open for your pet to make themselves at home.

About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. I have had the privilege of caring for many beloved pups. Throughout my pet-sitting days, I have provided a loving and safe environment for dogs of all shapes and sizes. My two personal dogs were an integral part of my life for 12 wonderful years. They both passed in the Summer of 2020. It took me awhile to get another dog, but I did finally get our Elvis (a bloodhound) in October 2022. He is almost 5 years old with a giant heart! He loves to have a fur-friend over and gets along with any age pup. I have a son who is 10 years old and absolutely loves helping out with the dogs. My son has learned so much about dogs and loves having them around as well. I also prioritize the emotional well-being of the dogs I sit for. I recognize the profound impact that loss and change can have on a dog’s mental health, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where they feel safe and supported. Through patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of canine behavior, I work to alleviate any anxiety or stress that may arise during their time with me. Above all, I approach dog sitting as a privilege and a responsibility. I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism and compassion, ensuring that each dog receives the love and attention they deserve. My goal is to provide a pawsitive and enriching experience for both the dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of peace of mind for all parties involved. I am a stay at home dog-mom! I watch over other peoples dogs for a living. It is fur-ever evolving! That's why I created some different packages! About: I’m Lydia, a lifelong dog mom who turned my passion for dogs into a full-time dog nannying career. GPC Certified Trainer, privately insured and registered LLC. What sets me apart is the way I form a bond with every dog in my care. I have a deeply intuitive, relational approach informed by science and psychology. We see “pets” as family, so I carefully blend structure with fun so that every dog gets their unique needs met. Every pup gets exercise, enrichment, and engagement that fits their personality. I’m especially passionate about helping working professionals with high-energy breeds meet their dogs' needs for exercise & enrichment. I have hands-on experience raising big breeds from puppyhood, rehabilitating anxious rescues, and caring for senior dogs with special medical needs. I provide custom care to every family, so if you have a special request don’t hesitate to ask. (Additional fees may apply.) *Meet & greet with my 2 dogs is required before I accept first-time daycare/overnight requests. *All dogs must be current on pest prevention as well as vaccines. No exceptions. Pet care is my full time "job" (passion). My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day with regular walks, snuggles, naps, and play sessions, and my regulars help reinforce the routine when new friends join us for a day or two. My 2 dogs are trained, neutered males with medium-high energy levels and high social skills. I am present throughout the day to supervise, play with the dogs, and help make sure everyone feels at home. Weekends are just as consistent—dogs get the same structure and care, but multiplied x2 since my dog-loving husband is home. (We can accommodate dogs who fear men.) I keep a clean, dog-friendly home with safety gates, dozens of toys, and 100% dog-friendly furniture. Dogs are never left alone for long stretches, and I tailor their play groups depending on the dogs' personalities, energy levels, and varying social skills + moods. While I don’t have an attached yard, we make up for it with frequent strolls over to the nearby dog park. In clients’ homes, I follow your established routines closely so your babies feel secure and cared for in their own space.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and care I bring to every dog I meet. I see each pet as an individual with their own personality and needs, and I make it my priority to make them feel safe, happy, and loved—just like they would at home. I have two sweet rescue dogs of my own who are incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs. Living with them has taught me so much about patience, trust-building, and how to read a dog’s body language. It’s also given me real experience in creating a calm, playful, and secure environment, especially for dogs who may be shy, energetic, or still adjusting to new surroundings. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for walks, or simply being a calming presence, I put my heart into giving every pup the attention and affection they deserve. You can feel confident that your dog will be treated with kindness, respect, and lots of love while they’re with me. I work from home about 12 hours a week, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to fully focus on caring for dogs. My schedule allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day—whether that means extra potty breaks, playtime, or just keeping a close eye on your pup to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Because I’m home most of the day, I can easily adapt to each dog’s routine and needs. Whether your dog requires a little extra care, more frequent walks, or simply loves companionship, I’m here to provide a calm, loving environment with lots of one-on-one time. At home, we follow a balanced routine that includes a mix of long and short walks throughout the day to keep dogs active and happy. I also have access to a dog park in the apartment complex, which is great for safe playtime and socializing in a controlled environment. I live with my boyfriend, and while I’m the primary caregiver during the day, he also helps out with the dogs in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We both love spending time with animals, and your pup will receive plenty of attention, love, and care from the two of us throughout their stay. Inside, I love incorporating little training moments during the day to encourage good behavior—like practicing “sit,” “wait,” or calm greetings. It keeps their minds engaged and helps create a positive, structured environment. If your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable having their own space, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I can provide crate time for rest, routine, or safety—whatever works best for your pup’s needs. Overall, I aim to create a peaceful, enriching, and loving home where every dog can feel secure and cared for.

As of August 2026, there are 519 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Conestee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Conestee commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 519 sitters in Conestee, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
