“Copper had an amazing time with Hannah and Percy. Would highly recommend her to anyone , she was available for updates with quick response time. She kept me updated with videos and pictures throughout his stay. She taught him a few new skills while he was with her. Overall I would highly recommend choosing Hannah for your dogs future stays/day camp.”

About: I have had pets my entire life, both cats and dogs, and have always viewed them as family. Your dog will be treated no differently than if they were my own. I have experience with teaching basic commands such as sit, down/lay, heel and stay if that’s something you’d be interested in. I work fully remote and set my own hours, so I’m able to provide your pup with my full attention during their stay with me. I have a house that sits on over half an acre with a fenced in backyard that your dog will have full access to run wild and play in. I have my own dog (a large, energetic, but sweet labradoodle) that loves making new doggy friends and will also keep them company and play. I have plenty of toys for them to play with (that I clean regularly), including a Chuck-It that’s a crowd favorite. I have experience with providing medication and know CPR as well as the Heimlich Maneuver on dogs. In cooler months I tend to keep my back door open so my dog is free to go in and out as he pleases. In warmer months I let my dog out every 2-3 hours, and will do the same for your dog. I ensure dogs eat separately from each other just as a precaution as well.
“Erika as usual showers our babies with so much love & attention, we couldn’t ask for anything more. She’s very accommodating & easy to work with. We’re lucky to have her.”

About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring pet lover who understands that pets are family. I provide attentive, personalized care so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with puppies to senior. I have worked with dogs that have had trauma in the past and special needs. My goal is simple, to make your pets feel happy, secure, and cared for like they’re part of my own family. If your pet loves attention, belly rubs, playtime, treats, or simply having someone nearby who truly cares we’ll get along great. I’m the kind of sitter who talks to pets like they’re people, notices the little things, and makes sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I know how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your furry family member, so I focus on reliability, communication, and creating a stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Expect lots of updates, adorable photos, and a pet who’s excited to see me again. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and building consistent routines around their care. I have a flexible schedule and make it a priority to provide your fur babies with the attention, exercise, companionship, and reliability they need to feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or simply giving them extra love and attention, I enjoy making pet care a meaningful part of my day. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for your fur babies both in my home and in my clients’ homes. In my home, they are treated like part of the family and receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I offer boarding in a home with a secure fenced in yard, which gives dogs a safe space for exercise, outdoor time, and play. I make it a priority to maintain each ones normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any special instructions from the owner. I also understand how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to help parents feel comfortable and connected while they are away. When caring for them in a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and focus on keeping your fur baby comfortable in their familiar environment while ensuring they receive dependable, attentive care.
About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. I have had the privilege of caring for many beloved pups. Throughout my pet-sitting days, I have provided a loving and safe environment for dogs of all shapes and sizes. My two personal dogs were an integral part of my life for 12 wonderful years. They both passed in the Summer of 2020. It took me awhile to get another dog, but I did finally get our Elvis (a bloodhound) in October 2022. He is almost 5 years old with a giant heart! He loves to have a fur-friend over and gets along with any age pup. I have a son who is 10 years old and absolutely loves helping out with the dogs. My son has learned so much about dogs and loves having them around as well. I also prioritize the emotional well-being of the dogs I sit for. I recognize the profound impact that loss and change can have on a dog’s mental health, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where they feel safe and supported. Through patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of canine behavior, I work to alleviate any anxiety or stress that may arise during their time with me. Above all, I approach dog sitting as a privilege and a responsibility. I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism and compassion, ensuring that each dog receives the love and attention they deserve. My goal is to provide a pawsitive and enriching experience for both the dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of peace of mind for all parties involved. I am a stay at home dog-mom! About: I have had dogs all of my life. I have my own fur baby as well. I’m a school teacher, so I have the summers off to take care of your fur babies! I would love to meet and love on sweet doggies when you are away. I offer boarding and drop in services. They will be in great hands! I definitely understand how dogs are not just pets, but part of the family. I treat my puppy like he’s my child. My closest friend works at a vet office. If something bad were to happen, she’s only a phone call away for me. I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby! Toy, hound or herding; I love them all (even cats)! I am a teacher so I am free during the summer, holiday breaks and early afternoons! I can also do evening visits. I am very flexible! In client’s homes, I will follow directions to a tee. I understand how important it is to listen to who knows their baby the best!

“So our dogs are never without us, much less a "Stranger." We tried a 9-hour day visit with Susan. I expected to come back to the dogs so excited to see me and happy to be with mom.. No. I had to chase them down to put on their harnesses. They did NOT want to go home. Even when I got it on, they planted and didn't want to leave. On the way home it was all whining and whimpering that I took them away. Geez. Passed on the couch all night; didnt care that dad was home. 9/10 only because my dogs hate that I took them away from the magical place. 10/10 recommended :) Thanks Miss Susan!”

About: Me and my husband David have both grown up with dogs our whole lives. I always had labradors in my family while he had golden retrievers. David’s dog Maggie lived to be 15 so he has great experience with senior care. I volunteered at a shelter and dog sat for our neighbors throughout high school. I also helped trained our two dogs as puppies, and we have cared for dogs as big as 110lbs to as little as 5lb. I am working part time with a baby due this August so my hours are decreasing as well. My husband is working a flexible remote job, so there is lots of time to play with and care for your pup. We are both early risers and am at home most weekends but occasionally away with travel. I am in a very pet friendly neighborhood with a large fenced in backyard. I am a mile away from a large park with two big, open fields, so your pup has plenty of places to run around.
“Grace was so nice! She took great care of my two dogs! Was super understanding of my difficult work schedule and you could tell she genuinely cares about your pets. She sent me pictures and responded to my messages quickly. I 1000% recommend booking her.”

“Brandi did an incredible job taking care of my dog, Milo! She provided updates throughout the day, and I know that he got lots of exercise and was well taken care of. I highly recommend Brandi for any of your pet sitting needs!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I used to watch and walk the neighborhood dogs. I’ve been working in veterinary medicine for a total of nine years now and I am currently in school to become a vet tech. Once license I plan to further my education and become a canine behavior specialist. I am a full-time student, but I typically have room to walk dogs on evenings weekdays and I have pretty open availability on weekends I have a fenced in yard and also enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood. I value structure and routine meaning when your pet spends time with me, they get to learn all sorts of new skills!
“Theresa was great with our 2 dogs especially with one being a puppy. She kept us updated with pictures and video. Our pups seemed like they had a great day! We will definitely use again!”

About: We’re a happily married couple, and we both love dogs. We will take care of your pet as if it were our own child. I (Roman) grew up in a village and have always had dogs—usually at least three. The last time before I left my parents’ house, I was taking care of four dogs (one mixed-breed and three Labradors). I also looked after friends’ and relatives’ dogs—mostly Corgis. One of them was almost completely blind and elderly, so I have experience caring for older dogs and know how to give insulin injections. Anna (my wife) is a total dog mom—if she could, she’d give birth to a dog instead of a human, haha. She’s an experienced dog sitter and has been doing this professionally for the past 3 years. I'm always at home, while my wife is at work— sometimes for just four hours, sometimes a little longer. There's always someone at home. Your pet's comfort and safety are our top priorities. Since we don't have any pets of our own, your furry friend will receive our undivided attention and be the 'only child' in our home. We offer a calm, loving, and safe environment where your pup can relax and feel like royalty. They’ll have our full focus, plenty of cuddles, and a cozy space all to themselves!
About: I’ve grown up around pets my whole life, and I love running around with them during the day. I also love snuggling up with them at night to watch a movie. I am currently attending cosmetology school at AHT, Tuesday- Friday from 9am-5pm. I’m available to be with your furry friends all day monday and after school during the week. I am working in the salon on Saturday, but am free in the evenings. Sundays tend to be pretty open for me since I normally only go to church in the mornings. I have a fenced in yard with tons of space! I also have two very friendly dogs to keep you animals company. I have plenty of space for a cage if you prefer that. If I am watching in your home I will make sure to keep everything the same so you animals feel as comfortable as possible, as it can be hard when someone new comes into their space.
About: Growing up I had a dog named Toby and Kallie the cat! We’d be responsible for taking Toby on walks, feeding him, administering medication, and of course showing both of them major love and affection. My work schedule is very flexible so I’m able to adjust according to your pup’s needs. I work from home on occasion and would be happy to have some canine company in the house. I live in a pondside home in a safe suburban neighborhood. It’s a wooded area with all kinds of critters, much to explore! I’ll set up a bed with blankets in the sunroom for my doggie guests :)
“Katherine was great. She took such good care of Hank and sent pictures. She was very responsive and we felt very comfortable leaving Hank in her care. We'll definitely book again. Thanks Katherine!!”

About: With a wealth of experience, I have successfully trained two dogs to become therapy dogs, one of which is currently actively working. Your dog will benefit from the same level of attention, care, and positive reinforcement that has made my own dogs a source of joy and comfort. If you are looking for a dog lover who will treat your furry friend like royalty—Look no further! I am a passionate dog enthusiast with a lifetime of experience and a heart full of love for our four-legged companions. On the days when I work from home, your pet becomes an integral part of my daily routine. Morning walks and playtime in the backyard kickstart our day, providing exercise and mental stimulation. During work hours, I designate breaks for short walks, ensuring your pet stays active and engaged. Whether it's a quick fetch session or a stroll around the neighborhood, these breaks contribute to a healthy and happy day for your pet. Moreover, I maintain a designated pet-friendly workspace, creating a comfortable environment for your pet to relax nearby. Regular check-ins include cuddle breaks and shared moments, fostering a sense of companionship throughout the day. When I head to the office, your pet's well-being remains a top priority. Before leaving, I ensure your pet receives a morning walk, playtime, and any necessary feeding. With the office conveniently located just 10 minutes away, I can easily return during breaks or lunchtime to check on your pet. These brief visits include bathroom breaks, a bit of play, and reassurance, maintaining a sense of routine and comfort. Upon returning from the office, the focus shifts back to quality time with your pet. Evening walks, interactive play, and relaxation round out the day, ensuring your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. If I'm entrusted with your home/pup, rest assured that it will be treated with the utmost care and respect. Just as I maintain my own living space, your home will be looked after as if it were my own. Our pets are family, and I believe they deserve the same care and consideration as any beloved family member.
“I felt so confident leaving Sophia our Aussie with Jaylin and Charles today. They are knowledgeable and competent and made me feel at ease knowing that my dog was in good hands and that Jaylin & Charles would be able to resolve any issue that might come up. My dog was calm and happy when we brought her home and she seemed to be very comfortable with the care she received. My dog usually barks at anyone she hasn’t met before but she didn’t even bark at Jaylin at all!”

Meghan was an absolute dream watching my dog Bodhi! She went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, comfortable, and well-cared for. From walks to plenty of playtime, Meghan kept Bodhi’s tail wagging the whole time. She sent regular updates with photos, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. Her love for animals is so evident, and Bodhi was thrilled to spend time with her and her dog, Mr. Buttons. I’d trust Meghan with Bodhi anytime and can’t recommend her enough for her reliable, caring, and attentive pet-sitting!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Willow Heights commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
