About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I used to watch and walk the neighborhood dogs. I’ve been working in veterinary medicine for a total of nine years now and I am currently in school to become a vet tech. Once license I plan to further my education and become a canine behavior specialist. I am a full-time student, but I typically have room to walk dogs on evenings weekdays and I have pretty open availability on weekends I have a fenced in yard and also enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood. I also understand how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to help parents feel comfortable and connected while they are away. About: I have had pets my entire life, both cats and dogs, and have always viewed them as family. Your dog will be treated no differently than if they were my own. I have experience with teaching basic commands such as sit, down/lay, heel and stay if that’s something you’d be interested in. I work fully remote and set my own hours, so I’m able to provide your pup with my full attention during their stay with me. I have a house that sits on over half an acre with a fenced in backyard that your dog will have full access to run wild and play in. I have my own dog (a large, energetic, but sweet labradoodle) that loves making new doggy friends and will also keep them company and play. I have plenty of toys for them to play with (that I clean regularly), including a Chuck-It that’s a crowd favorite. I have experience with providing medication and know CPR as well as the Heimlich Maneuver on dogs. In cooler months I tend to keep my back door open so my dog is free to go in and out as he pleases. In warmer months I let my dog out every 2-3 hours, and will do the same for your dog. I ensure dogs eat separately from each other just as a precaution as well.

About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. “So our dogs are never without us, much less a "Stranger." We tried a 9-hour day visit with Susan. I expected to come back to the dogs so excited to see me and happy to be with mom.. No. I had to chase them down to put on their harnesses. They did NOT want to go home. Even when I got it on, they planted and didn't want to leave. On the way home it was all whining and whimpering that I took them away. Geez. About: I have always loved dogs, and growing up tried to learn as much as possible from the different breeds and their behaviors to the best training methods and the good and bad dog habits. My main experience is my childhood pets and watching friends animals while they’re away. I don’t have a dog now but my love for animals has driven me to sign up for Rover to hopefully spend some time with dogs and lend a helping hand to some dog owners in the Chicago area. Due to COVID I’m currently working from home full time, but even afterwards my job is fairly flexible so that I would be able to continue Rover as well. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10, when I lived with my parents we had five dogs. I would feed them, play with them and take them to the bathroom every 2 hours. I love animals they always brighten my day even if I'm down. I do not currently have a job, I'm working on starting my small business up, so i will have the flexibility of a schedule to take care of your fur babies. I enjoy being around animals, they always brighten my day. I will make sure to make them feel loved. If you have a backyard, I can run around with them and make sure there fed and make sure they're taken out to use the bathroom as often as they need.
