“Kelly is such a pleasant home away from home. The updates give such assurance that my PJ is happy! He has a new fur BFF - and her family is simply adorable. She’s definitely on the rebook list.”

“Cristina is the best sitter. She genuinely cares about Bentley as if he was hers. She spoils him and he loves it. I don't have to worry about his wellbeing after I drop him off. Thank you Cristina.”

“Scooter had only boarded at my vet’s where he spent most of his time crated. I decided to try Rover. Shayne took such good care of him, sent pics and updates. When I picked him up I could tell he was happy and well treated. I’m so happy I booked with Shayne and we will definitely be back.”

“Nikki and Dave are wonderful and we feel good about leaving Ginger with them, and Ginger seems right at home there. Definitely keep using them for our sweet Ginger!”

“We love Rusty and are so thankful he was here for us so we could get away for our vacation. You can tell he really loves dogs and enjoys getting to know their personalities. Thanks for being patient with our pups as they got used to being around other dogs and being away from home!”

“Our pups always have a great time staying with Matthew and Heidi - they're great! So communicative, kind, and caring with our dogs. We appreciate the care they provide!”

“River enjoys his time with Dorothy and her family. The instant he comes out of the vehicle he is wagging his tail excited to see her. This tells me a lot about how much he enjoys it there. Dorothy is very responsive and sends pics during his stay. We have been with her for almost a year and feel she is the best fit for our our gentle giant pup!”

“We had a wonderful experience boarding our golden with Fabienne! She is such a sweet individual and obviously has a passion and love for animals. She updated us often with pictures and videos to see how he was doing. He had so much fun! We will definitely book with Fabienne again!”

About: New to rover, but not new to sitting! I’ve cared for animals my whole life, including many years with my own cat through every stage, into her senior years. We've helped care for dogs for friends and family, focusing on fun and comfort, and are hoping to care for others! Though not current pet owners ourselves, we enjoy having animals in the home and aim to provide a safe and loving environment for every fur-baby we care for. Being home throughout most days of the week allows pet care to fit very naturally into our daily routine. Pets receive regular potty breaks, consistent feeding, playtime, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. We have a family home environment, therefore we only accept pets who are comfortable around children. A structured routine works especially well for pets who thrive on consistency, and we only take one pet at a time which allows for focused attention and care. In our home, your fur-baby will be cared for in a structured, family oriented setting where they can feel safe and settled. We aim to follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. A large fenced yard provides plenty of space for supervised roaming, play, and outdoor time throughout the day. For safety, we ask that pets be up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick prevention before boarding or daycare stays. For drop in visits, the focus is on helping pets stay relaxed and cared for in their own familiar space. Each visit includes attention, fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks or playtime, and close attention to behavior and overall well being.
“Madi and her family were so welcoming and loving to my girls. They provided peace of mind and were accommodating to our extra needs due to being stuck out of town longer than anticipated. She sent multiple daily updates with photos showing me they were in the best of care. My girls experienced so many cuddles, walks, and a lot of playtime…they may have even been reluctant to leave Madi’s home! The communication was beyond excellent and I for sure trust her with my dogs again! 🐾🩷💕”

“My girls had a BLAST with Lindsay & her family! I was almost afraid of them not wanting to come home lol! She kept me updated throughout the day on how they were doing and the activities they did with them, which was very nice! Im so happy that i booked with her and will definitely be booking with her in the future !”

About: I have had cats in my life since I was 2 years old. I love cats, I love the way they all have their own little individual personalities and respect that they are all different. I know cats are very clean animals and therefore they deserve a clean area. I am happy to deep clean litter boxes and clean up any other mess that they may make. Having worked in the care industry for 20 years, I am extremely caring, honest and trustworthy and would love the opportunity to care for your fur babies.

About: I am ready to provide your dog with the love, care, and attention they deserve. I am a low volume sitter usually only caring for one family at a time in my home. I have a 2 yr old dachshund who loves to play. I have a big fenced in back yard. I am a stay at home mom to two kids who are 6 and 11 so your dog must be good with kids. Caring for our furry guests is something the whole family takes part in. Rest assured that I offer a secure and cozy setting for your dog. While in my care, I will do my best to replicate what your dog is used to at home but I do not allow dogs to sleep in my bed as I wouldn’t be able to sleep myself.
“Cristina was great.. kept me updated the whole time on how he was doing and sent lots of pics. Loki had so much fun and she kept him busy! He was ready for a nap when he got home lol. He will definitely be going to back.”

About: Worked for Cleveland park animal hospital for 6 years. Took 4 years of animal care in school. Trained in feeding, walking, and handling any sized animals. I have pretty much open availability! Sunday through Saturday! I no longer work full time and wanted to care for animals on my own schedule! my top priorities are safety, comfort, and routine. I take time to learn each pet’s needs, personality, and any special instructions so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free.
“Jonathan was great. He was informative & kind. We are first time pup parents & he made leaving her for a few hours very reassuring. Will definitely continue using in the future. Thank you!”
“I was nervous to leave my puppy with a sitter for the first time but Aneisy and her family were great! My pup came home happy and clearly well taken care of. And Aneisy made me feel at ease and communicated very well. I will happily book again in the near future.”

About: My husband and I are empty nesters with lots of love and attention to give. We have been traveling a lot so have been on break from Rover but back for the next 6 months or so! I work from home and my husband is retired so we are both available to care for and love on your sweet baby! We love animals but don’t want the full time commitment at this stage in our lives We own our home and have a great yard. It’s not fenced in but are in a quiet neighborhood and go for many walks around the neighborhood. With my husband retire and I work from home we can give fulltime love and attention to your 4 legged baby! We look forward to meeting you! Most dogs are given free range of the house although some exceptions may apply. We talk walks every 3-4 hours and always have fresh water available.
About: I had 3 different Lab Retrievers from pups to their senior years in my early teens to late 20s. I have a 2 yr old German Shepherd now. I work from home so he gets plenty of love and attention. As your dog stays with me they will get the same level of care as my 4 legged family members. We start everyday with his favorite fetch games to get some energy out. Once he calms down he gets breakfast, a short walk, then a long nap on one of his many beds around the house or a doormat. During each day he gets more fetch, structured play, and training, all followed by short naps. I have a small fenced in yard with plenty of fields for play and sidewalks to walk around my house. My dog's days are structured to keep him happy and healthy. I make sure his meals are scheduled so he isn't at risk for bloat (GDV).
About: I will love your pets as if they are my own. I will care, feed, protect and nurture them while you are unavailable. I have a big fenced house, so they will have lots of room to play and relax. For my cat owners, I own a very docile, loving, calm kitty of my own and he loves new friends. We will be in constant communication because I know being away from our furry kids is a little nerve wrecking. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or anything I haven't covered. I will fulfill requests or any special demands. Your pet will be in good hands for the time being. If frequent visits or walking is what you need, I am available for that too. I know some great doggy parks where they'll have lots of fun. I am currently not working so they will have my undivided attention and we will get them exercised throughout the day because just like us, movement is essential. I have a fenced yard, 2 little guys that your dog can play with. I have lots of toys and space to interact with your 4 legged best friend.

About: I have experience with taking care of all dogs, medical needs, young at hearts and old souls alike. I have one large love that was a rescue. I have been a foster for dogs for quite some time. Every dog that has entered my home has been loved and cared for as if they were my own pups. I currently work from home which allows me to have time to supervise and interact with your pet all day. I am able to let dogs out to play or use the bathroom at least every hour if needed. I have a 6ft fence that surrounds my backyard to ensure that your dog stays safe at my home. In my house, your dog will have the ability to roam freely. My dogs are allowed on the furniture, so if that is something you are okay with, your dog will be allowed too. I do have an extra large wire crate that I used with my dogs when they were young, so you will not need to provide a crate if your dog requires that. If your dog does not use a crate, that is fine too. Charlie is a 100lb mix that is very friendly. He will play with other dogs if that is what they want and he will also lay and be very relaxed.
“Dorothy & Thomas took care of our 3 cavaliers and it went well. Our pups enjoyed their space outside with the large fenced in backyard and also enjoyed hanging out with their dog Pepper. Pepper was friendly and sweet with our little ones. Thank you!”
About: Our family has loved on dogs as long as I can remember! Friends have relied on me to take care of their furry friends as needed. Responsible, consistent, and friendly. I am a teacher so I have all summer free to meet, play, and care for your furry family members. Weekends and evenings are easy availability! I have a great yard with lots of space and trees for your pet to explore. I have a 1 and a half year old labradoodle who loves playing with other dogs and can show your dog around the yard. We live close to a creek and can take nature walks. Will give your pup a bath, if requested. If your dog is crate trained, I am also able to accommodate your needs.
“Lindsay took excellent care of our pup. She has a quiet, welcoming home with lots of indoor space as well as a backyard with a fence and lots of room to explore. She was attentive to our dogs needs regarding feeding and medication, and provided us with regular updates and plenty of pictures, making us feel at-ease with leaving our timid rescue pitty in her care for the afternoon.”

About: I have experience with many breeds and ages. I come from a long line of dog lovers and currently have 4 fur babies myself. I have been a dog sitter for many friends and family and look forward to assisting with your pet care needs! I work from home part time for a local real estate business. Due to this my schedule is pretty flexible and I can accommodate most schedules I would be able to come over feed and water and let out to potty or take your pet for a walk and give them lots of cuddles and attention.
“Hank loved spending the day with Shayne and playing with the other dogs. Shayne was very flexible and kept me updated on Hank during his day. I felt very comfortable leaving Hank in her care.”

About: Fur babies are a passion in my household! ❤️🐾 I recently relocated to the area and am excited to build a new community of furry friends and wonderful families. While I may be new to the neighborhood, I’m certainly not new to pet care! I spent five years working as the Executive Assistant at a local animal shelter, where I worked alongside dogs and cats every day. Not only did I do the usual doggie care dance (you know, the poop scooping and whatnot 😄), but I also had the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with some wonderful trainers who taught me valuable basic training skills. Over the years, I cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, personalities, and backgrounds—from severely abused animals learning to trust again to beloved family pets. After leaving the shelter more than six years ago, I continued doing what I love through pet sitting. At our previous home, we built an amazing group of regular clients, including daily doggie daycare pups and frequent boarding guests who became part of the family. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and cuddles throughout the day. Although we don’t currently have a dog of our own, we lost our sweet Nova last summer and miss having four paws around the house. Our home is full of love, and caring for other people’s pets is one of the ways we get to share it. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we have no shortage of opportunities for exercise and fun! Our neighborhood has a fenced dog park, walking trails, and another dog park just across the road, so there are plenty of options for walks, playtime, and sniffing adventures. I’m excited to put down roots here and build lasting relationships with local pet parents. Whether your pup needs daycare, boarding, walks, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’d be honored to care for them like one of my own. I can’t wait to meet your babies! 🐶🐱💕 Pet care fits into our daily routine easily. I work from home 99% of the time. It’s so nice to bring in your fur babies. We enjoy them so much! They really add to our days. We offer walks, basic training, and of course loads of love to the pets in our care 🩷 we also are able to tend to medical needs if needed
“Ashtan was so amazing from beginning to end. She kept me updated about my dog and sent pictures over to me. She is such a sweet and loving person. I was so happy that I chose her to dogsit our fur baby. We will definitely book again with her!! Thank you ❤️❤️”

“Tucker had a blast! She sent pics and texts regularly to keep me updated with how things were going and I really appreciated that! Tucker felt really comfortable and was well taken care of! Thanks so much!”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah, lifelong dog lover, professional dog walker, and proud pup parent to Greylee, my sweet 7 year old black Lab and the absolute highlight of my life. Dogs have always been part of my world, and caring for them is second nature to me. What sets me apart is my experience with senior pups and newborn litters. I’ve spent years lovingly administering medication to elderly dogs with special health needs, ensuring they’re comfortable, safe, and thriving on every walk or visit. I’ve also had the joy and responsibility of helping deliver puppies and providing attentive aftercare for both mom and pups for up to four weeks, from warm snuggles to round the clock watchfulness. Whether your dog is full of zoomies or needs a gentle, patient hand, I’m here to walk with love, care, and the same devotion I give to my own. Every pup in my care is treated like family, because to me, they are. 💛 I’m available for walks and pet visits every Saturday through Monday, with just a couple of exceptions: • On Sunday mornings, I’m committed to church and available after 1 PM. • On Monday mornings, I take time for mental health and self-care, so I’m also available after 1 PM. Outside of those times, I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your dog’s needs, whether it’s a morning stroll, an afternoon potty break, or an evening cuddle visit. Just let me know what works for you, and I’ll show up with patience, love, and lots of tail wags! 🐾 When I care for pets in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I give to the animals themselves. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first, but I also understand that your home is a personal and trusted space. I make sure to: • Follow your home and pet care routines exactly as instructed • Clean up after myself and your pet (muddy paws, accidents, food, etc.) • Keep doors locked, alarms set, and your privacy protected • Never invite guests or cross personal boundaries, your home is yours alone I aim to bring a calm, respectful presence into your home so that your pet feels safe and happy, and you feel total peace of mind. You can trust that I’ll care for both your pet and your space with gentleness, reliability, and integrity.
About: I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, and more. While I love all animals, most of my hands on experience is with dogs and cats, especially medium to extra large breeds. But I have experience with all types, and all are welcome in my home. I am very understand of their needs, routines, and energy levels. I also have experience with PMR style raw feeding and am happy to follow your dog’s specific feeding instructions closely. My home is set up with pets in mind. I have a decent sized yard for outdoor time, along with a doggy door for easy access to potty breaks. The doggy door can be closed if needed. My yard is fully fenced with a 4 foot fence and secure latching gates, so it is a good enclosure but we will go over the height when you get here. Inside the home, dogs are welcome on the couches right alongside the humans. They are also allowed on the beds as we have 3 bedrooms and they can choose where they want to stay at night so they are completely comfortable. I am comfortable administering oral medications and following care instructions for pets who need extra support, including seniors, although I do not offer injectable medications. But if that is necessary we will discuss that further. To ensure each pet gets plenty of attention and personalized care, I host a maximum of 2 to 3 dogs at a time from different homes depending on how well they get along, or 3 to 4 from the same home. If you dog does not get along with others please inform me that you need your dog to be the only one in my home during stay and I will plan accordingly. My goal is to provide a calm, loving, home away from home where your pet feels safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while you are away. I truly love dogs and use positive reinforcement to create a safe, comforting environment that helps ease the stress of being away from their humans. I currently work at home and do not need to leave very often. My work is mostly hands off so most of my attention can go to the dogs needs. I will also be able to walk them often if weather permits. My yard is great for running around and I will go out there and play with them a few times a day. I am bonded and insured beyond Rover's insurance alone with Pet Care Insurance. I will offer a loving greeting and give them what they need when their family is gone. I will be able to administer medicine if necessary. I will be able to stay for a while at their home but I prefer the to come to my home as it will be easier for me to make sure they are well cared for. I will feed on their schedule and make sure food bowls are clean and water is always available. I am able to feed raw and PMR raw diets as well as any other diet type.

“Utilized Jared’s services for the first time while I was away for a recent overnight. I have an 8 yr old yellow Lab named Willow who is generally very easy and if anything, excitable and overly friendly. Jared and his wife graciously accepted my lengthy instructions and wonderfully cared for Willow via two walks and feedings in my absence. They shared lots of photos and communicated promptly and efficiently throughout the whole process. I will absolutely use them again, and recommend you do, too!”

( Horticulture Technology, Turfgrass Management Technology) I finished out my college career at Clemson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education.I am not afraid of animals, well besides Spiders but that's besides the point. My house and pet sitting knowledge began while living in Charlotte attending community college, I would house sit for friends while their families were on vacation. Taking care of their plants and animals as if they were my own. My pets are my children and that is how I will treat your pets as well. They are family members. I know most pets are set in their ways with a schedule, and I will strive to maintain that they stay on their schedule. Currently in my home with my family I have a Welsh Pembroke Corgi named Beauxman Makenna. He is 11 years old. I also have a rescue Orange Tabby cat named Wilson. However, with my family our house has 4 dogs, 3 upstairs cats, 6 downstairs cats, amongst feeding neighborhood cats. Over the last number of years I have house sat for neighbors, while they have gone on vacation as well. I look forward to working with you soon. My Schedule is Super Flexible to best fit your needs. For the foreseeable future I am available for House Sitting and Pet Sitting. First thing in the morning animals need their morning bathroom time before breakfast, food, and outside again. I take my pups out as they ask to go out. If it is hot outside I limited their outside time, but add frequent trips for shorter times outside, to keep them from getting over heated. Playing with toys and giving them time to play is also one of my favorite things. I do enjoy snuggle time with them as well. I am not able to watch pups in my own home because of number of animals and family members. I will be glad to do morning and afternoon checks (Feeding, bathroom, playtime, attention). Or my other option is I will be glad to stay as a guest in your home to watch your animals and house. I will treat your home, and animals with the upmost respect. I will also provide daily pictures of your animals.

“Best dog sitters ever. We are moving to Utah and we can only hope we find someone as caring, fun and communicative as them. Thank you for all the love you gave to Remi while we traveled.”

“Scooter had only boarded at my vet’s where he spent most of his time crated. I decided to try Rover. Shayne took such good care of him, sent pics and updates. When I picked him up I could tell he was happy and well treated. I’m so happy I booked with Shayne and we will definitely be back.”

“Everyday Kelly made our trip that much better with pictures and updates for our little guy. It almost seemed like he had a better vacation than we did! Kelly was amazing throughout the whole week and would recommend her over and over.”

“Laura is the best!! She loved our puppy as much as we do. Laura was kind, kept up updated on Remy and sent us updates and photos every few days. She was also very communicative which made us feel safe. Lovely experience and we will for sure be using her services again soon!”

“We love Rusty and are so thankful he was here for us so we could get away for our vacation. You can tell he really loves dogs and enjoys getting to know their personalities. It’s hard for me to find somebody I trust and I know can handle our large German Shepherds but Rusty is more then equipped. Thanks for being patient with our pups as they got used to being around other dogs and being away from home!”

“Jonathan was very nice and Annie was able to play with Samantha, his 9 month old German Shepherd. I think she had a good time the couple of days I was away. Jonathan sent me texts and a video to let me know how she was doing.”

“My girls had a BLAST with Lindsay & her family! I was almost afraid of them not wanting to come home lol! She kept me updated throughout the day on how they were doing and the activities they did with them, which was very nice! Im so happy that i booked with her and will definitely be booking with her in the future !”

“Love, love, love Cynthia! I have found a wonderful sitter and home away from home for my babies. She made sure my dogs were a good fit with her and her home, and by the time my vacation came around, they were excited to get to her house. I, and my family, were extremely pleased with her (and her family) and the love my dogs received. Don't hesitate to hire Cynthia! Thank you!”

“Our dog Maverick had a great stay and is looking forward to coming back for our next trip! Excellent communication. Very much appreciate having peace of mind knowing our dog is in good hands and having a fun time.”

“Garrett and his wife, Rachel, were wonderful with our older dog, Buster! Rachel welcomed Buster when he selected her as his “surrogate owner” for the weekend and followed her everywhere she went. 😀 Buster not only got fabulous care from both Garrett and Rachel, but their dog, Dax, was a sweetheart and provided Buster with both socialization and exercise while they played in their fenced in back yard. Although this was the first time using Garrett as a care provider, we will definitely be back and highly recommend,….”

About: I have cared for many dogs throughout childhood into adulthood. I decided to start offering my services as our golden retriever passed away almost a year ago. This reminded me of how much joy and comfort dogs bring into our lives and how important it is to make sure they feel that same love and care in return! I work M-F 8am to 5pm but my Friday night, Saturday and Sundays are open to dog sitting! I love going on neighborhood walks and hikes and would love for your dog to join me. I have a fenced in back yard and do not have any other pets, so your pup can run around and sniff in the yard as much as they want.
